With many years of rule by the absolute monarchy by the Tudor Dynasty. A new face in the government of Venice has arisen. Maxmillian Hugo, having ordered the killing of King Nicholas, and using the abcense of Democracy as the basis for his rise of power, has officially announced plans to create a three branch republic. Modeled after the United States.

He has also announced that he plans to do whatever it takes to protect the new democracy, and that nothing will stop the progress away from the archaic monarchist system that had existed for decades.

With the blood of the nations king still warm from his execution feelings were mixed as the people heard about the killing and the new governments rise from the ashes of the old.The majority were initially supportive of the new regime and their attempts to make Venice more like the United States with democracy when they compared it to the old absolute monarchy by the Tudor Dynasty.It was generally unknown to the outside observer if these feelings were borne out of legitimate respect for the new order or from fear that the fate of their former ruler would be shared by those who opposed his usurpers.

What was know was that the nation was in a liquid state of affairs at the moment, with an heir still alive to the old dynasty and a dictatorship masked as a democracy in power there was no telling what would happen.But a select group of agents for one of the largest revolutionary and terror movements in the world knew exactly what was going to happen, for they had planted the seeds of rebellion as soon as the crisis began.These men were hidden away in caves and in safe houses around the world but connected by a singular goal of bloody revolution to take the world and mold it in their image.A communist image!

The International Red Brigade leadership had a small number of cells inside the nation already, normal citizens who lived double lives as militants and Brigadiers in the shadows.They had been eager to immediately respond to the takeover but they had been told not to, as they would have been cut down by Hugo's supreme military contractors.Instead they spied and reported weaknesses and blind spots in the nations defenses while taking time to collect and store weapons from the military that had been lost in the chaos.

The locations of military bases and troop movements were reported to the IRB Headquarters deep below the earth, the locations of fuel depots and ammo dumps mapped out as well.Then with a snipers patience they waited to receive the word, which would come soon.

Congress, having finally finished working on the new constitution, has published and released it to the public.

We the people of the United Republic of Venice, in order to create a more perfect nation, in the presence of democracy, freedom and liberty, hearrby ordain and enact this consititution of the United Republic of Venice

Act I
Peaceful Freedom of speech and expression shall not be infringed upon by government officials or laws. Nor shall any religion be accepted as that of the state.

Act II
All people, in accordance with law and not of criminal nature, shall not be inhibited from the ownership of a firearm while in possession of proper licensing

Act III
All citizens, no matter of race, gender, wealth or legal status shall be Guaranteed the right to an equal vote

Act IV
No person shall be discriminated against for his of her ideology, except when such shall cause harm to others and society.

Act V
No president will serve more than two terms of four years, and can be removed by a vote of congress under legal reasons

Act VI
While the president will hold executive power, congress will hold the right to declare wars, sign and draft laws, create treaties, and authorize distribution of government funding

Act VII
No man or woman will be held or searched against their will without proper documentation and suspicion of illegal and/or criminal activities

Act VIII
Slavery and other forms of forced servitude and the trade of slaves and forced servants is completely outlawed and is punishable by the full force of the law

Act IX
Any and all forms of unusual and unnecessary punishment, including torture, excessive fines, and unnecessarily cruel executions or executions without proper and lawful reason are fully outlawed.

Act X
All citizens are quaranteed basic rights to life, liberty and property, and will not be deprived of these rights without just and lawful reason

Act XI
The economic pursuit of success will not be inhibited in unfair or unjust ways unless as to protect the greater good of the people.

Act XII
Free education, healthcare and electricity will be provided to all citizens regardless of status, wealth, gender, race and occupation

Act XIII
Every citizen will be guaranteed the right to appeal a case that they feel is unjust or wrongly accused to them

With the constitution and government in place, congress has called for a presidential election, with people being given choices from the top five parties.

The elections will be held indifferently and the government will monitor them so as to ensure fairness and that each vote is counted correctly and fairly, as well as to prevent corruption and foul play

The elements of the invasion were many, ranging from rag-tag jungle rebels from Africa to the much better organized insurgents from the middle east.But they were not the main source of troops for the International Red Brigades forces, instead they were the axuillery troops for the Brigades own European based cells.A good number were Ex-patriot Venetians and radicals who had left the country or had been in the nation but were aginst the new goverment, but they were further reinforced by the euro-citizen terror groups and communist parties who had come on the beck-and-call of their parent organization, The International Red Brigade.

The recent news of the Venice Congress finally finishing work on the new constitution and subsequently publishing then released it to the public had drawn many immigrants back to their homeland to see if the change in goverment had really been as radical as they national television said it had been.But among these returning masses was the unseen and plainly dressed Brigadiers,militants,rebels, and insurgents carrying their personal belongings back with them only to trade them for guns and masks after congregating and meeting in safe houses across the nation.

While the news did seem to legitimize the new governments desire for democracy, it had not been the people who wrote it but instead was the congressmen who had likely been in the pocket of Hugo.This was further compacted by the simple thought that a few months ago the legitimate king had been murdered by the CEO for no reason other than his own desire for power.These thoughts kept the International Red Brigade forces motivated to enact true change as soon as they could.But still their command told them to wait while the estimated ten thousand Militants that poured into the nation with the civilian immigration traffic.

The International Red Brigade forces that had originally been sent to the nation disguised as regular civilians had been awed by the sudden rear-face turn of the dictatorship-like Hugo goverment.Now they were holding elections for the people to vote and choose their new leader instead of just having Hugo as their CEO and lord over them with his contractor troops and million dollar tanks to keep them in line.It was new for many of the Brigadiers but it was also a problem for the International Red Brigade commanders, for they had anticipated a revolution not an election.

The were instructed by their higher authorities to hold off on the bloodshed and instead of picking up their guns, they were to go out and vote. Obviously they were to vote for the Socialist candidate and they did so with a light heart as they saw that their numbers brought to aid in the revolution were now being used to surge the socialist in the polls.They sat back and more were called to vote instead of plot as the elections wore on.

With the elections so close, the surge in socialist votes has pushed the socialist party closer to victory and even more shockingly Hugo is not one of the candidates, he has stated his job is done as soon as a new leader is elected, and that he was simply the catalyst for positive change with minimal bloodshed and has stated that he will stay out of the new democracy's politics unless he is needed to remove unjust and corrupt government

Within the USC, panic had struck the instant King Nicholas had been shot. The Conner Foreign Intelligence Department was probably the first outside of Venice to know of the events - of course, they were everywhere - and from there, informed SWORD, then both of them informed the Strategos Council, who went straight to STRATCOM, who bucked it up to the Capitol, where the President himself had been called into a meeting.

From there, the obvious course of action was to ensure that the nation came under the rule of either the Democratic or Republican Party. Of course, it had then caused a bit of a shock that Socialist party was winning. That simply wouldn't do.

For starters, over 2 billion NSD was wired from the Feds to both the Democrats and Republicans. The money was in an offshore account, and the transfer had been split between thirty different banks and eighty accounts in fourteen countries. It would be near-impossible to track. The money came with a note saying,
"We are interested in having either you or your colleagues in the Democratic/Republican party (depending on who was reading the note, of course) take the seat of President. This money shield be a nice boost. May we suggest forming a coalition to outpace the Socialists?

With the elections continuing, the military has been put on alert, due to undisclosed information detailing a possible invasion. Though the government has not given explicit details on where the information came from, or what it means. They have stressed that the elections will continue as planned.

President Joseph Bonunaparte, leading a fragmented nation, that was cracking at the seams and hugely in debt, jumped at the change to help a nation. He sent 1 billion dollars to the Socialist Party to help pay for expenses and campaigning. Of course he had to borrow this money from the Rotterdam Banks, but no matter. He sent pins with the socialist symbol on them to have them be uniformed and represented properly.

Kaiser Wilhelm II, leading a economically powerful nation decided to help the royalists party, he decided to give 30 Billion NS dollars to the struggling party, he hoped the mmoney would save the nation from certain boom

The communist forces are being given a ton of money from and outside country. I believe that we should intervene by supply money of our own to the Royalist succession party." Half an hour later the 100 billion Erokels were wired to the Royalist succession party.

Ooc:I'm not sure what exactly this thread's purpose is but I hope my hunch is correct on what is going on.

IC:A message is sent to the sector of the nation that deals with diplomacy. It is in the form of a video message from the president of Terranubis. Music plays in the background. All of the instruments seem quite primutive in nature for some unknown reason. Any nation capable of sending diplomatic video messages would surely use more modern instuments. Djembes, rattles, woodwind flutes, rainsticks, claps, snaps, howls, barks, other animal noises, whistling, stomping, all sorts of primitive music traits. On the screen the Terranubian flag waves in the wind. The presidential seal of Terranubis appears. A man in a white leather sleeveless button up shirt apears. He wears what can only be described as white "bootyshorts". Only if you look really close do you see that the things jutting out of his body from many directions are NOT part of some some ladylike costume, but are in fact the hilts of many weapons. He is sitting down with fanning himself with his fan that looks like it should belong to a queen instead & holds an umbrella of a similar style over his own head. The sun is apparently killer that day because he franticly & femeninely fans himself. He curtsies in an elegant way towards the camera.

Someone watching might laugh at this femenine man's threats because it would be doubtfull that someone who seems so dainty could be a soldier. This illusion probably stayed until they saw that he had put his stuff down to eat right in front of the camera. On the table on a very long serving dish was a shape that would horrify any viewers. It was a a charred & naked human body in a "downward dog" position. It was surrounded by all sorts of delicious foods. I probably shouldn't mention WHERE they put the stuffing. This dainty man smiled a sickeningly demonic smile & stabbed the cooked body in the leftside back & carved his way through the flesh. Scarlet spewed out & the once dainty looking man sticks his hand into the hole he carved & brought out something that pulsed for some horrifying & mysterious reason....It was a beating heart.... He puts his mouth to it as it kept beating. Most folks probably would have turned the message off by now, for the rest of this man's "meal" was very gory & sickening.
