[SP Rebellion]

To put it in short, SP is overcrowded and only getting more crowded. Thousands of migrants with a Morocco nationality have been flooding the border walls separating SP's African colonies in Morocco and Algeria away from the, well, practically the wilderness. These migrants are fleeing a state of absolute anarchy in their homelands - Morocco is not ruled by any nation, and does not have NPC status. Leaders of the Colonialist Party have proposed a more radical solution to this problem - peacefully incorporate the rest of Morocco and Western Sahara into the empire. As a result, they will be permitted to peacefully move to the mainlands, however hundreds of thousands of SPians would move and live in Morocco and Western Sahara. SP would construct public infrastructure identical to western standards, and SPian companies would move in and increase the economy of the area. SP hopes that this will appeal to the Moroccan people, since Morocco's past historical relations with France.

As a preliminary measure, SP is preparing the 14th Colonial Force, and thousands of settlers to go visit the Moroccans, with the goal of eventually organizing a referendum on joining the SPian Republic. Prime Minister Amelia Goddard's speech on the matter will be coming up shortly.

SPian Prime Minister Amelia Goddard prepares a speech.

"For a long time, the people of Morocco and Western Sahara have been living in a state of anarchy, as they are not ruled by any country at the moment. They have a virtually non-existant public healthcare system, and the education system is in shambles. Thousands of migrants from these lands have been trying desperately to get to SP, for a better life. We want to help fix this problem, by incorperating them into our republic. We would heavily develop these infrastructure, bringing them to our standards. We would hapilly allow the people of the nations a referendum, and sincerely hope to end this migrant crisis."

Meanwhile, The 14th colonial force has landed in many makeshift towns across the nations, and is distributing aid packets of food and other supplies to the population. SP has also set up makeshift classrooms and hospitals.

OOC: SP will be ignoring this post in regards to this RP until it is solved by TG, as I fear NIB has no leverage in that department since KOSI no longer exists.

SP has announced an official referendum in the lands of Morocco and Western Sahara, giving the people a chance to vote whether they wish to join SP, join KoSI, or remain as a neutral, unsettled nation. The ballot paper will look like this:

This ballot will be mailed to every citizen above the age of 18, with access to the postal system. SP hopes the international community will recognize it's efforts to let the people decide.

OOC: That seems interesting. Of course, again, we would need a way to impartially hold the referendum.

IC:

The SPian government is deeply saddened at NIB condemning SP's work. SP would like to inform NIB, that these troops, whilst having SPian nationalities, are actually EU humanitarian units, delivering immediate supplies to those who might DIE without them.

Meanwhile, the large-scale overnight mailing campaign to get the ballots out to voters is on now. SP informs that voting is not compulsory, but if you do not wish to vote to check option 4 instead.

After an intense match of legal boxing, NIB and SP have reached an agreement. NIB will not impede the SPian government's efforts to annex Morocco, however, the SPian government will grant near-full autonomy to the region.
President Somers has released a brief statement:
"It is pleasing to hear that a compromise could be made to protect the right to self-governance, while allowing for resettlement of those in overcrowded areas of SP."

"We are proud to have reached this agreement. We would like to commend NIB for continuously defending national sovereignty of nations, and helping others find a peaceful and solution that works for both sides.

President Somers will be awarded with The Golden Cross, a very high SPian award, for his role in the negotiations, no matter how weird it may seem.

We are awaiting the Moroccan and W. Saharan people to form an interim regional governance, once they elect their temporary leaders SP will be in touch to start our planned promises. Glory to the people of SP, NIB, Morocco and Western Sahara!"
