Initially both myself and my peers that set up our region, conceived of the region being an Island chain big enough to be a continent in the Pacific. We eventually dropped the idea and are very vague on purpose we mention real nationalities and ethnicities but we don't specifically say we are in th e"real" world any more/

Europe is dominated by us. We control the European Imperial Alliance, the strongest power block. In Asia, we protect the former Qing Emperor in the Empire of Manchuria, but are threatened by the Chinese State, a totalitarian nationalist dictatorship. ,earn while in the Americas, the United States is Corporatist, and runs the nations of South America as de facto exploitation colonies. Africa is as fucked as ever. Finally, the Middle East is firmly in our sphere of influence, although we do need to fight rebels there now and again.

Thanks to the Spartans actually winning the Battle of Leuctra, they went on to dominate most of Southern and Eastern Europe, challenging Rome, and eventually the Ottoman and Russian Empires. Athenian Greece is no more, save for a few generous chapters in the history books, and the Balkan people live under constant threat of being turned to modern day helots.

Our version of Earth was conquered Liberated entirely by The Master Culture, which is the colloquial name of our Nation. The Chosen People are no longer enslaved by vile and bloodthirsty regimes like the "Republic" of Canada, the United States of "America," or "Great" Britain. They are universally recognized by lesser beings as omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent. In fact The Master Culture itself is Omnibenevolent. This is objective fact.

Non-Chosen ethnicities are classified into various castes groups:

The Lowest Caste Group is Hellspawn. This group is reserved for those who originated from the Island Archipelago known as 日本国. These beings are usually shot on sight and are otherwise considered feral and non-sapient. Anyone who demonstrates mercy towards a Hellspawn is immediately executed. Hellspawn who have been captured and placed in zoos have on occasion mated with other castes groups, and such unions and offspring are exterminated immediately regardless of the offender's recorded group affiliation.

It is rumored, however, that Hell, the Island chain from which the Hellspawn originate, is actually a thriving region with high levels of technology but a surprisingly wise aversion to enter Chosen-controlled space. This is a mere unverified rumor, however, for Chosen People are commanded to never approach Hell, whereas many undesirables, unpersons, barbarians, and former near-Chosen who fail to be domesticated properly socialized are banished there: sent to the unmanned facility known as "The Gate of Hell." Many Chosen public servants who approached The Gate of Hell committed suicide rather than stepping on the land of Hell itself, allowing the ship that sent these undesirables to crash on the shores of Hell. Their fate is unknown, as satellites who pass over Hell are shut off to avoid being tainted by the image of Hell. Hellspawn are considered unfit to be slaves and the number of Hellspawn outside of Hell dwindles each passing moonrise.

The Group above Hellspawn is Barbarian. These incorporate many creatures of the Homo genus but especially those from various regions in the Western Hemisphere, Africa, Siberia, and Eastern Europe. Barbarians are also found across the stars, many of whom originate from the land once known as America. Barbarians are known to be very cunning, and tend to have strong weapons technology. But their culture, if it exists, tends to be so appalling to Chosen people that they are considered extremely difficult to domesticate socialize properly. Barbarians are often sterilized to avoid harming Chosen genetics, in a process known as docility. Barbarians are also often culled and put down if they prove to be too hostile to Chosen interests.

The Group above Barbarian is Slave. Barbarians who achieve this status have restricted freedom of movement within acceptable Chosen standards, but are finally valuable property rather than little more than dangerous organisms. Slaves can come from any Group save Hellspawn, and Chosen Slaves are considered the most desirable. Chosen Slaves are the only kind of slaves whose offspring do not remain slaves. Male slaves are often sterilized, while female slaves are... Very desirable products.

The Group above Slave is finally considered Human. They are the Minor Cultures. Minor cultures are recognized for having some beneficial cultural aspects, but these pale in comparison to The Master Culture. Various Middle Eastern, Slavic, and European nations fit in this category. While sterilization of Minor Cultural males is common, it is not considered a "normal" procedure. Minor Cultural organisms are not considered citizens, but are also not animals either. They often work in menial jobs and take the harshest penalties when they fail to properly adopt or demonstrate Chosen values.

The Group above Minor Culture is Near-Chosen and Honorary-Near Chosen. Honorary Near-Chosen come from all groups save Hellspawn: even former slaves can become Honorary Near-Chosen. Honorary-Near Chosen are those who have successfully assimilated into The Master Culture. They take Chosen surnames, renounce all cultural and social ties with their former groups, and properly serve the nation and worship Kong Qingdong. Several cities and population centers who were famous for sheltering or otherwise providing assistance to the Chosen People were granted Honorary Near-Chosen status, such as the city of John Day, Oregon. The people of neighboring Canyon City, Oregon were unanimously degraded from Barbarian to Hellspawn, and were glassed from orbit. Unmanned drones confirmed that they were all righteously and benevolently exterminated, and we take pride in this accomplishment. Truly, it was a demonstration of our Omnibenevolence!

Near-Chosen people hail from various civilizations in Central, East, and Southeast Asia, with the sole exception of Hell. There have been many violent debates over the inclusion of various Southeast Asian nations to the ranks of the Near-Chosen (as opposed to Minor Culture), but those who are more welcoming successfully silenced those who were not. Near-Chosen people are second-class citizens with less legal rights and recourse than Chosen ones. The penalty for crimes against them is less than that committed against Chosen people, for instance.

This changes when a Near-Chosen person, like an Honorary Near-Chosen, renounces all ties to his or her previous group, takes a Chosen surname, adopts all Chosen values, and Worships Kong Qingdong properly. Near-Chosen who commit to such values automatically become Chosen, and are granted all the rights and privileges of Chosen people. A surprising number of Near-Chosen have refused to take this step, but Kong Qingdong has stated for the record that is probably because they are genetically closer to dogs and cats.

The final, greatest Group is the Chosen People. All Chosen People are citizens of The Master Culture. All Chosen People Worship Kong Qingdong. All Chosen People embody Chosen values. Chosen People who fail to do this become Slaves or are Executed. Some have even fallen into true depravity like partaking of Barbarian cuisine and have thus become Hellspawn who probably live in Hell (they are sent on ships towards Hell, but the crews of said ships commit suicide just before the ship reaches landfall).

The Entire World belongs to the Chosen People, and they shall use its great resources to liberate the Universe and ensure that all beings Worship The Master Culture and Kong Qingdong!

Rostil is a land of dictators, emperors and kings, republics while around are rarer. The world is one of constant strife and near constant warfare, no international laws exist, common conventions and a general survival instinct prevent nuclear holocaust but only so far. Magic and the Supernatural exist and have shaped the world in unique ways, as well. There has been only one world war, The Great War, which was technologically WWI and ideologically WWII. A Cold War did occur but it was very short and the planets 'America' was only a secondary contender in the affair.

All in all it's an interesting place.

Jamilkhuze is set in a 23rd/24th-century parallel Earth in which the main geographic difference involves land masses in the Southern Hemisphere in which the country is located. In this world, Australia is significantly larger, has more varied topography and climate, and the northeastern part of the continent has been a major destination for destitute 21st/22nd-century Asian and African environmental refugees. Post-Columbian history is noticeably different from our timeline but the basis and relative influence of major civilizations of this world are the same as ours. The consequences of the overpopulation, anthropogenic climate change, environmental degradation, and maladaptive technological progress that plague our world today continue to haunt the world of Jamilkhuze, as do the lingering effects of institutionalized racism, religious fundamentalism, government corruption, and drug addiction. Jamilkhuze largely reflects my political views/ideals juxtaposed against a quasi-dystopian alternate reality.

You can look at my fact sheets. But I'll summarize it like this:

Our nation started off as a colony on Mars, specifically in the region known as Meridiani Planum. This colony was a private project funded and populated by supporters of free markets and individual rights to establish a nation based on their political principles. A key figure is Steven Dessler, who had written a ten volume book titled Eudaimonic Future Society that outlines the philosophical, political, and technological details needed to justify and establish the society.

Today, there are millions of citizens of Meridiani Planum, in thirteen city-dome clusters. Most citizens are clones, and population is regulated by the national government, which is in the form of a constitutional republic.

We have our own planet all for ourselves. All the other nations got obliterated in a massive WW1-esque war and the following epidemics, we remained neutral throughout the war and supplied both friends and enemies with weapons for money which we lent them. Our economy collapsed when there was noone lefts to repay the debts but we quickly recovered. Much of the planet however was rendered inhospitable by the decade long wars and industrial pollution sadly.

Basically an alternate-Earth that started after I played Papers, Please and remembered that NS was a thing, and then realised that a Nationstate would give me a common theme to design/draw things for.

Sediczja is about the size of Kazakhstan and is a generic SovietEastGermanYugoslavianCommunistSocialistOppressiveDictatorship™, currently involved in a cold war and various small conflicts in places nobody really cares about. There was also a border war or something.

Somewhat based on a much larger, alternate earth. The US, Great Britain, Japan, etc were around but seem to have mysteriously vanished. Their former colonies became great superpowers and waged a massive war, from which Serrian was born.

Now it sits in its own little corner of the world.

Occasional temporal anomalies have been detected in the region; Serrian appears to rest on a sort of multiversal crossroad, existing in multiple realities simultaneously.

Currently the world is in the year 2081, over 60 years after an event called the "Great Collapse" occurred. The Great Collapse, or Great Global Economic Collapse of 2018 as it's fully called, was caused by the fall and breakup of the United States due to civil strife and led to most of the world economies falling into major recessions or collapsing completely. As of July 16, most of the world is more or less stabilized, due to Carolina reestablishing the formerly abolished UN and helping reestablish trade with almost all world nations.

The major differences is that there are more nations and some nations have joined together, as well as some countries such as China have reformed to a different government.

It is currently 2039.

North America is a deep state of decay and recession, and it is fracked by racial and class tension. Furthermore, its troops are bogged down in a bloody, unpopular war in Iran that has been going on since 2027.

Eastern Europe is largely a wasteland after a short, but intense war with Russia that included the nuking of Warsaw in the late 2010s/early 2020s. However, Russia itself weathered the war quite well, and in contrast with its neighbors, is a beacon of hope.

Due a massive population explosion in Africa and more destabilization in the Middle East, the rest of Europe was flooded with immigrants, overwhelming even the popular nationalist parties. Europe has been reduced to garbled, mid-tier mess, largely dependent on Russia for survival.

Africa is even worse due to a massive population increase. Latin America has improved considerably however.

East Asia is booming though. China underwent democratic reforms and is now the world's preeminent superpower and by far the largest economy in the world. Korea is unified as well.

The only white, Western nations that are still in good standing are Australia, Finland, Uruguay, and New Zealand.
