Welcome to the Region of Ordis - a veritable melting pot of cultures, races, religions and creeds. From the glittering azure waves of the great expanse that is the Thalassic Ocean, to the soaring mountain ranges and highlands of Northern Orda. Ordis' climate and geography is just as varied as it's inhabitants.
That is Ordis in character. Out of character, originally, we were an offshoot of the region of Greysteel, created when the RP scene there largely went flaccid, but over time, we have become much more than mere refugees. We later became a region called 'Escar', and developed quite a community in our year of independence from Greysteel. Now, we have moved to the glorious land of Ordis, due to issues with membership and founders.
Ordis is a rather relaxed region. Anybody can contribute to the running of the region by pitching ideas. One could call this a direct democracy, although regional politics isn't something that has ever gained traction in Ordis. And nor is OOC drama. Unlike many larger regions, Ordis is stable, and peaceful (at least in the out of character sense. We still love the odd war!)
Something to note when applying for membership is that we will be very strict in who we let in, and we encourage you to provide the highest quality writing sample possible. If we then choose not to accept you, we ask that you do not take it personally. You can always apply again if your writing improves.
The application process will have three stages: First, is the application review, in which you will post your app, and members of the region will point out any issues with it. Once that has been done, we will review your post history. For this reason, we ask that if your nation is a puppet created especially for this region, please specify your main nation.
Finally, if we have found nothing questionable in your post history, Kolintha, Nerotysia and Khornera will interview you, via whatever method we and you find most convenient. This will be done to ascertain your OOC character.
Other members of the region are free to endorse an applicant, but they will only be accepted once the nations mentioned above are in total agreement.
