There is no legislation against it.

They are not allowed to be married, but they can live together in civil unions. Under traditional Themiclesian law, marriages are unions of two clans through two persons; these two persons are not free to choose whom they marry (you must marry the person your parents order you to marry). Civil unions are more similar to the modern institution of marriage, where love is free. Marriage is governed strictly, the families of the two spouses being required to reconcile with each other previous differences and agree to co-operate in the future, whereas civil unions are more or less created and terminated at will of the united. On the other hand, we don't have a concept of sexual fidelity between marriages, which is more of a political and economic union, so married spouses regularly engage in intimate activity with others. A person can legally be married to one and be in a civil union with another.

2=Same-sex marriage was legal since 1935, but civil unions go way back to 1872.

5=Not yet. There was one chancellor back in the 1920's that was bi, but not fully gay.

culture, respect, and society have developed quite differently in y-g and homosexuals have thus never been ostracized or treated differently from other human beings. they have all basic human rights, and 'marriage/adoption' rights the same as 'heterosexual' couples in other places. approximately 1 in 7 gavs are male-male or female-female couples. this information is from a voluntary survey in which most choose to participate.
