**Notice**
This RP is based off of the book. It is not exactly the same. Therefore, while you are free to base characters off of the canon, it is not required, nor will the events play out in the same manner, due to the change in characters and plot, such as the addition of a single pistol to represent the monster, and the addition of females.

Introduction

You are a young British lady or gentleman in the making, born into the aristocracy of London. Since your birth, your parents have surrounded you with nannies and tutors, teaching you how to act, and keeping you in line. When it came time, your parents sent you away, to further train you to succeed in England's high society. At your prepatorial school, you were constantly hounded by a strict staff, every bit of your life managed to the dot.

Then came the height of the Second Great War. England was, and still is, being bombarded. You were then between the ages of nine and fourteen, attending Saint Joseph's School for Boys, or its sister academy, Mary Dames' School for Girls. With the consent of your parents, the school shipped you off, to continue your education, safe from the violence of Europe. You were loaded on a plane with your classmates; headed to one of the colonies. Maybe Aden, India, or Jamaica. Perhaps the Cape Colony, Australia, or New Zealand. No matter.

The last thing you remember is boarding the aircraft, surrounded by schoolmates you've never met before. But now you're awake. Washed up on the beach of an island, who knows where. Maybe the pacific, maybe the Caribbean, perhaps off the coast of Africa. The plane is no where to be seen, and other people scatter the beach. You have the clothes on your back; your school uniform, and an item in your pocket. There are no people, but you hear the frightening screech of animals coming from the dense forest, just off the beach.

You are finally free. Free from your parents, your school, your old life. But what happens when there is no order? When your whims aren't met constantly by a staff, just there to please you? You're children.

The Island:

The island is long and skinny. It takes two days to circumnavigate, and a day to cross at its thickest point. There are mountains on either end. The inside is filled with springs, pigs, and dense jungle. Tropical birds, and pigs are the only animals. Beaches wrap around the island, illuminated by the hot sun by day, and moon at night. The trade winds constantly blow, leading to humidity only being present in the island's interior. It is hot, very hot, by day, and cool at night.

2. Typical RP rules apply. (I.e., no godmodding, metagaming, etc.)
3. No one liners
4. Use proper grammar.
5. Act like a typical English boy. A city boy, with overbearing parents. Try to act like a little bot that is for the first time in their life without an authority figure. Go wild. Cry. All that.
6. Be nice.

Personality: Wesley is a good boy, a typical child of high society. Younger kids look up to him, and he usually does the right thing. But now, without any authority breathing down his neck, his true colors will show. He can be violent, and is easily provoked, though he tends not to show anger.
Bio: Wesley was born to a very aristocratic family in London. His father, Sir Edmund Taft was an undersecretary in the RAF, his mother a socialite. Growing up in the family mansion, Wesley has every need met by a nanny or maid. He was always a good little boy, never getting into trouble, always polite to his loving yet distant parents and staff. Privately taught in Taft Manor until the age of nine, he was sent to Saint Joseph's as a first year. Excelling in school, he played rugby and football, and never got into trouble. As a fifth year, he became a class prefect for his good behavior. He kept others along his narrow path, excelling in the classroom and on the playing field. But the good behavior had been getting to him. Between his fourth and fifth year, he had run away to the Scottish highlands, where he spent a week in the wilderness before the authorities brought him back to school. Itd been the best week of his life, out in the wilderness, despite being found cold, naked, hungry, and afraid. But, as said before, his good work resumed, and he became a prefect. Not really following the war, he didn't pay attention. It came as a shock, his removal. When he awoke on the island, he found he had his lighter on him. He's ready for the freedom, and doesn't intend to play well with others, out looking for fun and adventure, not constraint and boredom.

This RP will remain a treatise to that darkness, as there is one loaded gun on the island, on the body of the plane's pilot, who is laying dead, somewhere on the island. This gun could mean infinite power. Remember that.

And I always felt sorry for Piggy, after I found out he wasn't a pig. Although I felt sorry for him when I thought he was a pig, too. I'm weird like that.

Personality:Edward, although not very sociable, can be charismatic to those that feel they have lost everything , inspiring trust to some. He is careful, intelligent and thoughtful with a dark side that could emerge as time goes on. He is trustworthy and loyal to those that follow and trust him. He can be violent, especially in this situation, as he believes to some degree, in survival of the fittest.
Bio:Edward was born in an aristocratic family with other three children. His father, William was especially cruel to the boy, believing him to not be his child. His mother,,Margaret, despite less cruel, gave all her attention to the other children. Edward gained a sympathy for nature, there spending a worthwhile amount of time, the other amount in libraries and schools. He became, to the dismay of his father, a bright and intelligent student. He followed the news of the world, from the start of the Second Great War, to the attack of Germany at Britain when he was sent, with other students, somewhere safe. When the plane crushed, he found himself, along with others, to a remote and unexplored island. He found himself, albeit surprised and shocked and somewhat scared, relieved, to a certain degree .
