Alternate History: What if your country's history diverged?

Which events of your country's history could have resulted in an alternate outcome?
There are several points in Pavonistade's history that could have turned out differently from how it did in reality.

The Hals'se Combine fails to unite the Pavonistadian indigenous
Indigenous nations called combines formed quite early in Pavonistade's history. Eventually one of these combines, the Hals'se Combine, was able to conquer all other combines and unite the indigenous after a military campaign. Had the Hals'se Combine failed to do so, the Jopj Combine (a nation created upon unification of Pavonistade) would have never existed and so would indigenous colonies set up beyond Pavonistade. Many advances and prosperity experienced in the Jopj era would be delayed. Chances are the Hals'se Combine would be broken up into different combines, either because of internal dissent or conquest by other combines.

The Conflict of 1897 is won by the monarch
The Conflict of 1897 was fought between an wine-addicted authoritarian king (Giuseppe III) and much of Pavonistadians. The king ordered mass production of wine and therefore severely damaged agriculture (by improper agricultural practices), and a rebellion led by the king's sensible son (Giuseppe IV) rose in time. The rebellion crushed the monarchy and had the king executed by drowning in a barrel of wine. If the monarchy was able to crush the rebellion, then the main figure to be punished or executed would be the king's son and agriculture would be further damaged. Eventually the situation in Pavonistade would be so serious that new rebellions can rise to oppose the monarch. It'll be unlikely that both sides will achieve victory in a short amount of time, due to a lack of food and possible famine.

The Pavonistadian Government recognizes OIIR 1990
OIIR 1990 stands for Ocelot Isles Independence Referendum of 1990, which was supposed to grant the Ocelot Isles (originally a dependency) independence. Although OIIR 1990 achieved a supermajority in favor of Ocelotian independence, the Pavonistadian Government said that it was supporting "independence from status as a dependency" instead of supporting the creation of a sovereign state. This would mean that the Ocelot Isles would become a state or a territory with some degree of autonomy, angering the Ocelotians and starting the Ocelotian Sovereignty Dispute. If the Pavonistadian Government did recognize the referendum results and granted the Ocelot Isles, the two countries would have much better relations and no bloody conflicts would have arisen.

If the "defining" event of Cheltish history, our independence from the Brentish Empire in 1660 following the success of the Great Rebellion, had gone the other way (i.e. the Brentish Crown defeated the rebels), our country would look profoundly different today:

• Most notably, we would not be independent, but would probably be a dominion of the Brentish Empire or, at most, in personal union with the Brentish monarch.
• As the Great Rebellion was a conflict between a modern state which wanted to exert the sovereignty (and the power implied therein) of a modern state against a colonist community stuck politically and socially in the 13th Century and which had never experienced anything resembling the authority of a modern state, Chelta would not be the decentralised, politically pluralist polity it is today, and which the rebels' success in the Great Rebellion preserved, but would resemble a modern state, probably a parliamentary constitutional monarchy like Brent.
• Accordingly, the Cheltish government would be bigger and we'd probably have gone to war a lot more often, either in pursuit of Brentish imperialist wars or our own, with the consequent deleterious social and economic effects of constant warfare.

Which events of your country's history could have resulted in an alternate outcome?
Of all the different possibilities these two options have been studied extensively by Alternate history writers

1.St Salvador Wins the War of the southern Coalition
Date 1810-1817
-Emperor Joseph Susov VII''s Stabilizes the remnants of The Royal army in Rosenberg and attacks the Maichin army still organizing itself outside the city destroying one of the Pincers in the Maichin advance into St Salvador proper,leading to an armistice and St Salvador retaining independence rather than a 130 year occupation.

2.We lose the Second Great war
-Pokolistan is able to stop reinforcements from reaching Tosev enabling The Pokolistani 1st and 2nd Army to storm the city The loss of our capital would have been enough to cripple the war effort. leading to a Salventinian Surrender.

[Auzkhia]

Probably Auzkhia gets outmatch by other powers like Prussia, France, and Sardinia, we become a second rate power and then succumb to divisions and become a rump state.

Almost all of them would've caused the occupation of Amuaplye.

The June Revolution is lost by the socialists
The corrupt capitalist government remains in power. The democratic process will grind to a halt as the Pravor gains more and more power. Foreigners are denied entrance and alliances would not be forged. The Pravor would have waged nuclear war with TFoTIoET, the ARoB and the SoS, and presumably lost horribly. Hubyaveyabo would be no more and the current level of technology would never be reached.

The Nazi Party beats the Pravda Party in the 1947 Presidential Elections
The newly elected Allen Pao mocks the loser Elizabethia Kino in her inauguration speech. The DRH (Then USSH) would be renamed to the Greater Hubyari Reich. The GHR would use it's secret police and newly formed Kahpuheeruh to remove all political opponents and begin the systematic oppression and eventually murder of the Zzahboic people. The GHR would declare war on everyone deemed "unclean" by the government and the people would be brainwashed enough to agree until it's too late. The GHR falls and Hubyaveyabo is split up between Btoken and Saifullah.

Aziz Abubyaad Falir Al-Mareed dies during extraction from Saifullah
Without his help with many theories, the DRH would have taken a lot longer to build planet cracker ships, leading to a resource crisis in the DRH. Famine ravages much of the nation, causing many people to die off. Prices on all goods are placed extremely high, going as far as having a loaf of bread cost as much as gK150 ($15). The military is very weak.

Sovietsky Baer Wins 2040 election
Socialism progresses to communism. The DRH will become the Peoples' Union of Multinational Glory. The PUMG stages coups in the other governments of the world, until the whole planet is united under one red banner. Space colonization is accelerated to awesome speeds originally thought only possible by gods. The galaxy would slowly but surely become part of the PUMG and people would live in true Marxist unity.

If the Unification of the Republic of Korea, the Republic of China, and Japan of 2031 hadn't occurred, then Aikoland wouldn't even exist.

That's a pretty big possible divergence for our country's history. (And also the only real big one, we've only been a country for 26 years!)

[New Tuva SSR]

The monarchy never falls,1840s
Tuva would continue to be in the pocket of Russia.Once the Russian Tsardom falls,the Kingdom of Tuva would be sucked up by the Bolshevik state.However,they would remain independent after they aided the White Russians in the Russian Civil War,and sign an alliance with France and Japan,who guaranteed its sovereignty.

Tuva loses Erh-Hmog,1943
Future Premier Yagar Muulchuk dies at the famous battle of Erh-Hmog,and Japanese occupation ensues.Japan uses Tuva as a base to invade Russia and Central Asia,fulfilling their dream of an Asian empire.The Pacific theatre is lost,and the Allies are forced to sign a peace treaty with Japan after defeating the Nazis.

Tuva loses the Soviet War,1976
After Tuva esablished relations with America,the USSR invaded.Again,Yagar Muulchuk dies,and the Soviets take full control of Tuva,making it Tuva ASSR.Tuva declares independence in 1991,and is the Republic of Tuva from then on.

CRA continues to rule PoD late 1980's
during the 1980's a campaign to idolize the Dear Leader Chai Josen succeeds and prevents any major uprising from occurring. this new militarily dictatorship like state, oppresses the people mercilessly while appearing stable and free on the outside to the world. in 2000, instead of the 3rd Carriebean Civil war beginning, it never occurs. the state is now a tyrannical military dictatorship whose atrocities are many. ( so basically only a few things change)

the 1796 Samson Slave Revolt is successful
in 1796, with the slave trade reaching an all time high, and propaganda that supports owning slaves increasing, Garfield Tyrone gathers up a force of supporters and takes over the Nanjing armory, gaining the necessary weapons needed to fight. at the alternate version of the battle of burgendon, emperor Harold III is killed and a power struggle ensues, most likely with pro Christian and pro catholic forces on the other. with Tyrone's slave army growing ever stronger by raiding farms and gathering up an army of nearly 60,000 total. in the 2nd battle of lee's farm, Tyrone is wounded but decisively defeats the Carriebean slavers, paving the way for an outlaw of slavery and the establishment of a new Republic of liberum.

[Peoples Republic of Scotland-]

UK put up a harder fight in WWII did not let Germany occupy part of Scotland, as a result there was no major demand for independence.
While Scotland had always had an independent Celtic identity, most Scots did not see independence as a viable option. However, in World War II, Britain decided to let areas of Scotland fall to the Nazis to put more resources into defending England. The Scottish Resistance was a powerful force and helped lead to the defeat of the Nazis. This lead to Scots having confidence in the powers of their own nation, coupled with even more resentment towards England and fresh memories of Red Clydeside, lead Scotland to independence. However, if Scotland had never been left to fall, it would most likely have remained British.

Communism in Scotland collapsed along with other major Communist powers
Although Communist, Scotland had been allowed to maintain a relatively independent foreign and social policy following WWII and as a result never relied on the USSR the same way as other Communist nations did. If it had followed the Soviets more closely, it probably would've collapsed in the late 80s-early 90s along with the rest of the Soviet bloc and would now probably be a fairly unstable neoliberal Eurozone state.

King Mires III wins the Civil War,
the Royalist destroy the remaining rebels and purge the nation of all anti-monarch ideas. Suspected rebels are tortured and executed, and propaganda is printed at an all time high. The Monarch makes good use of new radio technology, forcing every citizen to have one and using it to broadcast Nationalist messages. The international pariah aligns it's self with Nazi Germany and Japan come WWII, and the sleeping giant invades Iran, Burma, and East Africa, leaving Japan to invade Australia and deeper into China. Though the Allied East Asia campaign is much longer and harder, the war is eventually ended when atomic bombs are dropped over Carena and Japan. Unlike Japan, the Allies were much more harsh in bombing Carena, destroying Carisena and killing King Mires III. The fragile state never recovers from the war damage, and is a third world country today.

The Decentralization Act failed to be passed or enforced
The Decentralization Act of 1982 granted second-level administrative divisions (states) substantially-increased powers in addition to other effects. If the Decentralization Act never passed, signed, or was otherwise never enforced, then Pavonistade would remain a more-centralized state where the federal government has greater sway over all six states. The number of Members of Parliament and members in state legislatures would not be decreased, and many notable associations that sprung up after the Presidential signature of the Decentralization Act would have never risen. Perhaps most importantly the extremities level, which compared and contrasted between one "extreme" state (Eastern Islands) and another "extreme" counterpart (Western Pavonistade), would not be created and a more-uniform Pavonistadian culture would be in place across the country.

[Filimons]

The Tearful Revolution failed
The Tearful Revolution is what Filimons calls its independence-seeking rebellion against the Sieste Kingdom. After years of perceived mismanagement, abuse, corruption and general mistreatment all echelons of Filimon society united in their struggle against the Sieste occupier. The Sieste Kingdom did all in its power to retain Filimons—considered by many to be the most valuable crown jewel at the time—but ultimately failed to quell the potent separatists. Filimons would not exist as a sovereign, free and independent nation-state if the Revolution hadn't succeeded.

PS It is referred to as the Tearful Revolution in Filimons owing to the pain of separation from what is now Masseau; two “countries” sharing a history and a people were separated by the Revolution.

[The Vrree Nations]

The Imperial Occupation Succeeded
What if the Empire had succeeded in conquering Ewrlu, or at least maintaining their colonies there. The Vrree would likely either be still fighting a bitter guerrilla war to this day, or would be reduced to an oppressed subject race. Either way, the Vrree would probably be more primitive than they are now, and would likely have a much lower standard of life.

Masseau loses the Corto-Massean War

Masseau had recently suffered a breakdown of the economy in the early 20's. At this point in time, Masseau was recovering until Cortoguay had attacked in 1942. If Masseau lost the war, chances are that Masseau would likely be an absolute monarchy or corrupt single-party state, which means the SOE is not founded and that Masseau is likely to join the the triumvirate and become an aggressor in South Conitia and likely used by Koyro, Unolia or Ziegenhain to store military equipment and manpower, intimidating its Filimon, Michillian and Tia'raanian neighbors.
