So this should be a great factbook builder. No Special Forces here, this is an RP for basic infantrymen to train. It's worth checking out. My idea is character based, as in what is going on behind the scenes, and in the minds of basic infantry of our nations from morale to squad level tactics.

I want this to become character based, with the story eventually becoming more about the soldiers hanging out versus large scale tactical operations where one focuses on their own company.

I'm not that worried about the specific details for this one. I want it to become character based, not like the typical war RP that focuses on who moves where and when.

I want this RP to be about the squads hanging out, doing work and interacting with soldiers from other countries. To give the soldiers personalities.... So that when we get to day five and start doing tactics we actually have a feeling for who the soldiers in the squad are.

So maps really won't do much. It's going to be a shoothouse type thing anyway... With a big course with several shoothouses and alleys as the Day 5 setting. Each squad will probably have their own set of buildings, which they will hit. The main challenge will just be moving from building to building.

This is just a simple week of infantry training. No complicated tactics, just muscle memory stuff for these guys.

Additional Information: The members of the 4th Army are nicknamed as the "Grizzled Veterans." On top of several combat and peacekeeping operations, the infantry and armored units of the 4th Army are personally honored with the defense of the URA during the invasion of the Great Korean Empire. The 10th Infantry Battalion itself took heavy losses on the front line of the Remnant-Korean War, standing defense as the 23rd Armored Battalion provided cover support. They succesfully held the line, MSG Higgins and several members of his squad earned battlefield promotions for their valor.

I think I put driver's training on the schedule. I might make it so everyone sends one character to driver's training.. Actually a driver and a vehicle commander. If its not on the schedule, it might pop up as a detail.

Of course, no tanks, and if you don't really need a vehicle, just borrow one of ours.

I'll let you guys run the heavy weapons range since it seems like you really like them. As far as who specifically, I'll bring it up IC. Anyone have any cool ideas on how you'd want to run it? The Vannish would do it real simple, go out to an OP on a hill and let you guys shoot up old artillery targets. But you all have fancy systems, let me know your ideas.

So one of the things we can do with the different types of infantry squads is, tailor our final live fire exercise on each unit into one big mission. We'll deal with that more as time passes. We'll probably each pick what type of action we'll be doing, but really simply. Like if you have more of a weapons squad, you'll probably do overwatch. The 'Mechanized' might infil in a different way. Basically we'll be clearing empty buildings in a mock town.
