Were your bombers giving off any signals, such their radar, radio, satellite GPS, etcetera?

Plus, could you only RP the oncoming attack to Ardoki, so I can have a chance to respond.

Low-intercept probability AESA radar for defensive purposes. Works similar to AN/APG-181, allows it to search for threats while remaining stealthy.
INS for navigation because they don't need it to be uber-accurate at such long distances when firing cruise missiles.

Plus, could you only RP the oncoming attack to Ardoki, so I can have a chance to respond.

I did, didn't I? I only RP'ed the bombers launching and leaving, I never RP'ed the missiles hitting.

There is a chance you can stop some of the missiles once they get closer, but keep in mind many will find their targets...

There is a chance you can stop some of the missiles, but keep in mind many will find their targets...

Can I just say that it's probably not even worth it to attempt to target the missiles, IMO?

It's already quite difficult to track and target conventional cruise missiles like the Tomahawk without large and efficient radars (which put out large radar emissions for HARMs), but even more difficult to track a JASSM-ER (that does have certain RCS-reductions).

I really suggest speaking to Riysa or Cus about that, because I'm winging it here.

It's already quite difficult to track and target conventional cruise missiles like the Tomahawk without large and efficient radars (which put out large radar emissions for HARMs), but even more difficult to track a JASSM-ER (that does have certain RCS-reductions).

Your dead-on.
Factor in horizon-line, low-RCS and low-altitude to defeat OTH and they are most likely only going to be vulnerable* to anything once they hit the coast, and even then they are probably the best thing for the job...

*vunerable in relative terms, this by no means makes them easy to engage

In fact until those cruise missiles break horizon line of the coast, it is unlikely you would know there was something to even try and intercept in the first place...

At 500km under the horizon line there is nothing that would grab them, except OTH which is rendered useless by anything even remotely stealthy, and maritime AWEC patrols but once again RWS would warn the bombers before they got to close and their stealth features would drastically reduce detection range.

Furthermore they were in international waters (even by your standards [not knocking it, I do the same]); so even if all odds was stacked against them, you still would have no reason to do anything about it beforehand...

Well, the title says DIPLOMATIC. So It is suppose to be a merely diplomatic RP, however I guess I can allow mild skirmished as long as there is no war.

The missiles were fired from 500km (roughly) away from the coast. The targets were within 300km of the coast (so the missiles don't over extend themselves and have fuel left to maneuver and evade).

You would be able to tell from the missile and get a list of potential suspects.

But I might just take credit for it anyway, and dare him to do anything about it...
