WHAT IS ATLAS?
The Advanced Technology League of Active Storefronts is an organization designed to promote Post-Modern Tech and Future Tech Storefronts. Due to the extreme lack of such storefronts compared to the slew of primitive "Modern" Tech businesses, this organization was created to serve as a collective of all Advanced Tech (Post-Modern and Future) companies and organizations engaged in global trade. Hopefully, you will find here all the companies that sell high technology items and services.
We are also willing to help out any individuals looking to start up their own storefront, and will offer advice!
MEMBERSHIP AND OBSERVATION
Membership is achieved by submitting a Membership Application, given below. Should ATLAS approve; the applying company or organization will be admitted with full membership. Nations and organizations who wish to participate in ATLAS but do not wish to have a corporation or organization partner with us may fill out an Observer Application.
Current Advice:
- Advertise in your PMT/FT community. Without customers, your business will die. The key to getting more is to get your fellow roleplayers to come to your storefront. There are only so many people already on GE&T who will buy your stuff.
- Update regularly. Not only does posting announcements act as a functional bump, but you can take customer feedback and improve your storefront! Not to mention potentially attract new customers with new products and services. Now renovate your store!
- Form Business Partnerships. The effectiveness of this is not something I've seen first hand, but having your storefront advertised in another storefront might help attract more customers. It can't hurt!
- Get rated! The GE&T Accreditation Agency will rate your storefront, and offer free tips for making it better! Plus, a five star banner makes you look good. And Ceneria has an FT puppet, so he might buy your stuff if you get rated.
- Support the Community. Without us all helping each other out, the PMT/FT storefronts will not be successful. I've directed people to Stormwrath's storefront twice, and bought things from them myself. And I made this thread basically as a giant advertisement for FT storefronts. Business thrives when we are all help each other out.
