WIND action against Rajinnar

Following a deadly attack on a Cristo vessel and its crew by Rajinnar, the Vancouvian Congress has unanimously declared a state of war. Reaffirming its commitment to the Western Isles National Defense, Vancouvia has pledged its forces to the defense of Cristo.

The Vancouvian fleet, which was almost entirely involved in the war games, has shifted its attention to the south-east towards Cristo and Rajinnar. Several Vancouvian Special Forces squads have already lifted off from Yorkford and are headed for the Vancouvian carriers to reinforce a possible invasion force.

General Storm has already contacted Linvair, Dibeg, and Cristo about the possibility of a joint retaliatory strike. Vancouvian citizens hold their breath; this is the first time in years that a Vancouvian force will enter hostile territory.

How are we going to carry out this war against Rajinnar? I have a moderate defense force set up along the border with decent temporary defenses.

Looking at the regional map it seems like trying to capture Rajinnar's western shores would be a good idea. It would hopefully reduce the severity of any naval interference he could throw at us by taking away any port cities on that side of the landmass that you two share. After that, you can either host WIND troops in your country for a land based invasion (highly recommended) or we could launch an amphibious assault on the southern tip. I would also recommend using my country's western shore as a sort of intermediate staging area, as I'm rather close the zone of conflict. Then again, these are just rough ideas.

As my nation lacks any official standing military, and the only troops that we have available are police and conscripts, we have no choice but to allow WIND forces in my nation. You are permitted to full access of my nations infustrcture. I believe that the bombing runs should be carried out jointly from Cristo, but all naval operations should take place start in Linvair's western shore.

What military installments exist on Visja island? Is the area capable of military use?

A port city, two military basses, and a sizable airstrip. The western shore, near Kulyot, would serve as an intermediary, just to make sure that supplies aren't sunk coming down from the north. The eastern shore is where the major offensive operations would take place, and Visja would be an excellent launching point for any strategic bombers that we might possess.

Our reserve troops, and militias have arrived and are tucked in for the defensive across the border.

The naval detachment that was sent to the war games has been recalled and is heading towards Linavian territory. The Linavian Armed Forces are preparing for deployment and the Linavian National Reserve is on high alert should it need to be called. Housing accommodations are being set up for when Dibegian and Vancouvian forces arrive. Domestically stationed naval forces are patrolling the eastern portion of our territorial waters.

For those of you unacquainted with me, I am Hamoud Gharahar, Kajarahat for the Federation of Kajar. I sympathize with your struggle and wish humbly to aid in your fight. I am pledging 10,000 soldiers armed with 5.45mm AK-74 Assault Rifles, 9x18mm Makarov Pistols, and plenty of ammunition to help assist in the invasion. Added an entry to my factbook detailing my full naval forces. I'll be bringing all of them with the exception of 20 Patrol Boats to the conflict, which will be kept at home for anti-piracy purposes.
