3 Dolphin Class 2 submarines head to Raddichio

Just this morning, 3 Dolphin Class submarines set sails for Raddichio. Their purpose is to support Raddichio operations in that area. They will be refueling in Oceania, then moving on to the Raddichio islands.

The 8 armored regiments of Raddichio and the 5 regiments of the PGF secured the northern area, pushing the PRA out of the area into a neighboring land. Over the next week the Gurkha will be delivered to their new homelands using the C-130 "Sea King" aircraft, a modified C-130 cargo/troop transport plane which uses Pontoons to give it the capability to land on water instead of land.

In light of the recent tensions erupting, centered around the recent collapse of Japan, Arlywyddion (President) Melinydd has announced firmly that the nation will remain neutral on the matter. Melinydd released a brief statement in a press conference addressing the reason behind the decision;

This has largely developed out of a series of events between two alliances that have compiled tensions over time, the International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties and the The Capital Interests Internationale. The Castilla Assault Group Rallies off the Florida Coast

Near the base line limit of the Cubano- Haitian Federation's territorial waters, The Castilla Assault Group has moved into an open ocean formation as it prepares to be returned and supplied by the Servatore Class Replenishment Tankers sent from Radicchio.
Aboard the Tankers are 1000 Gurkha Troops from Vinod Patney to partially reman the RR Castilla.
These Gurkha Troops rendezvoused with the Tankers in Radicchian Waters near Bottany Bay aboard special sea planes sent from Vinod Patney and are eagerly awaiting their first deployment.
Radicchian Rear Admiral George S. Lewis of the RSA said of the Gurkha: "these are scrappy young men in fighting condition, we are proud to have them aboard." Rear Admiral Lewis also noted that the RSC should take a "keep interest" in the C-130 sea planes that they arrived in.

As the waters of Japan and Panama enter an uncertian period and the nations of the Pacific brace themselves for war, on the other side of the world, war seems like a impossible occurace in the blue waters of the Capric Ocean. The South Capric Commonwealth has brought peace and trade to the area with the economy booming and the Ocean at peace everything is going uphill. Underwater construction is popping up everywhere and the SSC submersibles are keeping the peace.

In an instant all that is disturbed by a defaning sound.

It is heard all across the Capric Ocean and even whispers of it are picked up by Wolfussian sonar stations in the Indian Ocean. The whole of the Caparic Ocean is in shock for a few seconds, thinking over the oddity before casting it aside and carrying out their day as normal. As governments seek to understand what happend, over the Cape Quest Trench, 105 miles from the UEO capital, a massive hulk of steel and metal begins to plument toward the ocean floor below. New highways are being built that will go from Atharla City, to mines, as well as other important places. Construction will take anywhere from 6 months to a year, possibly more. The Teaker Island government has voted to interfere with the Japanese Islands with the military stand off between Vladivoseoul & Raddichio. This comes days after the collapse of the current Empire. To the government, this is a border dispute.

The plan is to take the military to blockade the Islands and not allow any ship though. Also have planes circle the sky to make sure nobody enters. Factory Workers Strike!

Workers at a steel mill in Arbeidstakere went on strike this morning, directly after the purge. They took a steel mill and held it, not doing any work. They found a Vladivoseoul flag and hung it on the roof of the building, protesting the crackdown on communist protesters a few days ago. The traitors were visited by the Alpha himself, who promised that he would meet their demands, if they came out of the building. The president of Palakistan said this morning in response to Teaker Islands move towards Japan that "It was a stupid move" designed to "attack the CWP and CII". He also said that "any inference in this issue will cause the weight of the CWP, CII and Oceania to come down upon you." In response to this issue the PNF ordered the 3 Dolphin Class 2 submarines to blockade a probable route of the Teaker navy. Shown in picture below:

Larsaka Mourns UEO SeaQuest, Ramps Up Sub Construction
Larsakan President Edward Chou announced that a month of mourning would go into affect over the sinking of the UEO SeaQuest after it was confirmed she sank earlier today. The UEO SeaQuest was where the SCC was founded when it was docked at Larsaka City and it also spawned a new type of mega-submarine warfare that has come to dominate the SCC arsenal. DaXing expressed his condolences and announced that Larsaka's own submarine construction program would become the LDF's number one priority, and "fill the strategic void" left by the giant submarine.

Larsaka's sub yards are nearing completion after the huge effort put in by Larsak's advanced construction resources, which have considerably reduced the original planned completion time. The new Larsakan Mega-sub fleet will be constructed in the new sub yards, and rumors have been flying about the possibilty that the hull for the first ever Larsakan mega-sub is currently being constructed. However, we can not confirm this possibilty and Larsakan Officials have said nothing about construction of the new submarines.

LIAF Deploys to Japan Amidst Tensions in the Region
The first major relief effort to hit ungoverned Japanese Soil has been deployed by the LIAF, and it is one of their largest efforts yet. A spokesperson said that due to advanced planning and organization, the LIAF was able to collect and is now deploying a massive amount of aid to Japan. "We were waiting for tensions to die down to a point where we could safely move our humanitarian volunteers and aid to the region, and the Japanese people are in desperate need of aid after the prolonged wait. We understand the sensitivity of the situation, but the people of Japan cannot wait any longer." The spokesperson also mentioned the possibility of coordinating with the LDF to deploy large vertical take off and landing aircraft, but that at the moment, due to the sensitivity of the situation, this could not occur.

Aid is being deployed to Japan via chartered 747 cargo jets, the signature deployment method of the LIAF. They are also using two chartered container ships which will carry a large amount of aid and vehicles, including large trucks, to send aid to mountainous communities. It is the largest amount of aid ever distributed by the LIAF, and it will include:

Water Filter and Distillery Equipment
Solar Generators

Emergency Gas supplies

Many, many more items will be sent but at the moment the most important objective of the LIAF is to provide the essentials, which are food, power, and water. The LIAF expressed confidence that other aid organizations would assist in the effort.

The LIAF will be deploying to major city centers like Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, where they will set up opperations and then move to the country-side.

Larsaka Expresses SCC Neutrality, Support of Chileana's Proposal
Edward Chou also announced that the Larsakan Senate had voted in support of the proposal, and that, either way, negotiations need to happen to reduce tensions. "The situation in Japan has shifted very fast, and I believe some sort of negotiation needs to happen to reduce tensions, and that Japan needs a temporary governing body until they can form a new government." Edward Chou said this in his announcement and also said, "However, I would like to confirm Larsaka's neutrality in the issue and, in the event of armed conflict, Larsaka's continued neutrality. I am confident the SCC shares the same opinion on the matter and we will act with the SCC should conflict arise."

The LDF still remains in high alert and multiple mobile and permanent radar systems have been deployed across the country, and the LDN has increase patrols in territorial waters and the Capric.

BLOCKADE ENDED

The Cubano-Haitian Federation has ended it's blockade of the Panama Canal area and returned it's Patrol Fleet to their home ports.

Following Lengthy Negotiations with the Government of Radicchio which began with the establishment of a special Diplomatic Phone line for Secure Communications, the Cubano-Haitian Federation has agreed to end it's blockade of the straights of Panama and the Panama Canal, allowing Radicchian Tankers to travel carefully through Cubano-Haitian Waters to replenish their flotilla which is present near the Florida Coast.

"We have consulted our Communist Brothers and Sisters every step of the way" said Ramiro Mendez of The Cuban Peoples Popular Communist Party of Cuba in an interview with reporters from Cuban Broadcast #3 News.

Military instructed to demobilize and return to permanent bases

Because of the recent lowering of tensions the Chileanan army was ordered to demobilize.
The supreme soviet feels that the international situation has sufficiently normalized for the armed forces to return to minimum readiness.

An army spokesman said:

Tensions dropped these past few days and a mutual understanding between all parties involved has been established, therefore there is no need to keep the military mobilized. All units have been instructed to return to their permanent bases. All soldiers who's leave was cancelled because of the mobilization will be allowed to continue their leave of absence.

Sanctions against Radicchian and Thunbergian companies lifted

As a further gesture of goodwill the supreme soviet announced that it is lifting the 30% higher tarif sanctions it had implemented during the missile/liaoning crysis.
Radicchian and Thunbergian companies will now be able to conduct "business as usual" when trading with Chileana.
The supreme soviet hopes that this gesture will further contribute towards the normalization of international relations.

Oceania tells Skjold Fleet to stand down

The Alpha has told the Skjold Fleet to stand down, because of decreasing tensions in Japanese waters. The fleet will immediately turn back from its stationed area near Japanese waters. The fleet will return to the port of Havn, on the northern part of Oceania. Refuelling tankers will meet the fleet midway, in order to ensure that the warships have enough fuel to get back.

The Alpha reacts to the Teaker Island statement

Today, the Alpha read a shocking statement from the nation of Teaker Island, which threatened nuclear war, should a Teaker Islander ship be fired upon by a Wolfussian one. The Alpha had this to say about it:

The statement issued by the Teaker Islanders came as a shock to me. It siad many offensive things about our way of life, and even at one point stated that, and I quote "we would not hesitate to break a Earthica law to drop nuclear weapons on innocent people in Wolfassia" To threaten nuclear war is a threat I take very seriously. The Teaker Islanders have made an enemy of Oceania, one enemy they may regret making. We do not currently posses nuclear weapons, but now seems as perfect a time as any to announce that we are developing plutonium, with uranium bought from several countries, and mined from our own. I am still deciding whether our engineers should start a nuclear program, but with these recent threats, I think building the bomb may be crucial to our very safety as a nation.

Two of the Alpha's assassins known!

Two of the assassins families have been found, both located in southern Anlekor in the town of Edánlokt. All close family members of theirs are now in custody but only one, the mother of one of the killers seems to have any connection to the crime at all. It so far seems that she had a hand in sneaking her son into the military troop. There's been no word yet on what the punishment will be, sacrifice is the most likely route.

Zucchini Shortage

Anlekor is currently suffering from what can be aptly called a zucchini famine. Zucchini, a staple on almost every dinner plate in Anlekor for twenty years, is now nearly impossible to find in any market. Farmers whose livelihood depended on the usually ample crop are now finding themselves without enough zucchini to make a loaf of zucchini bread!

The cause is currently unknown but expected to be a combination of pests and disease. The government is beginning to send out support to the farmers affected.

Anlekor will begin trading timber, sugar, honey, rice, and various medicines to The Wolfussian Colony of Oceania. And it has been said that Wolfussia will be providing some of the more heavy industry goods that Anlekor has been desiring the imports of. The video consists of nearly every time the Grand Priest has tried to pronounce Wolfussia to a "sick beat". Some of the most interesting pronunciations include "Hwoolfuss...eea" and "Wolvúshta".

Larsakan Government Announces New Economic Zones, National Park

Larsakan Officials announced today that four new special economic zones would be created in ZhiDrang province to incite more business and population growth in the massive province. Currently, Larsaka is experiencing a housing crisis, with rent and property costs rising as land becomes scarce in Larsaka for its large population. These new zones represent an effort to alleviate the crisis somewhat and also increase the prosperity of the scarcely populated ZhiDrang Province, which is the only territory of Larsaka on mainland South Caprica.

The new zones will have decreased taxes and regulations for all businesses, and infrastructure for large populations are currently being planned by the transportation industry. It is also an effort to increase trade with neighboring Rahal, which is the only country Larsaka shares a land border with. Several companies have already announced they will be moving operations to the new zone, and officials are hoping for growth similar to that of China's before the great depression. Foreign buisnesses are also encouraged to open up shop in one of the zones as well, a sign of the increased openness of Larsaka's economy to foreign interests.

Ministry of the Environment officials also announced a new national park located on mainland Larsaka on the northern coast. The region is a popular tourist destination, known for its many beach coves and tall cliffs covered in scenic jungle. This new park encompasses the shoreline, which has several large and small coves with beaches and some rock formations further inland. As well, the Orient Hotel, a well known hotel establishment located throughout Larsaka, won a bid to build a small resort in one of the largest coves for tourists.

The announcement comes at a time when the tourism industry in Larsaka has receded from its previous highs after the end of the world cup and the culture fair earlier this year. However, tourism is still a leading sector of the Larsakan economy, with Larsaka's high amount of environmental protection contributing to the huge flow of tourists annually.

The LDF announced that the majority of its forces would leave "High Alert" status and demobilize. Decreased tensions internationally has contributed to the decision, and the high cost of maintaining the status meant that the sooner the LDF could demobilize the better. While tensions have decreased in the Japan Hot zone, they have not disappeared due to the attempted blockade of Japan by Teaker Island and International back lash because of the action. The LIAF has stated that the blockade was not inhibiting the distribution of aid due to its limited implementation, but expressed concerned that, if or once it is implemented it would mean leaving much of Japan without any aid in the face of no government.

In celebration of the repaired relations, Oceania and Anlekor have began a major trade deal. Because of our war factories our land is not ideal for growing food, Anlekor will give us food and medicine, and we will give them things like weapons, steel, and many other things that can be produced in our glorious factories. PGF solidifies border with Pilikistan

The PGF has begun solidifying its border with Pilikistan. Fence Solutions Inc. was contracted to build a fence line, stretching across large swaths of the land border. WER has begun construction of checkpoints on all major roads between the two nations. The National Census Bureau reported over 230,000 people have fled to Pilikistan over the past month, making it the largest migration in Palakistani history. Experts say that Pilikistan may have an upwards of 2-3 million citizens. The PGF has been instructed to allow these rebel citizens through, on the condition that they revoke their citizenship in Palakistan.
