As per the constitution of the Imperial Federation of Whiteshore, there will be elections for Parliament every 2 years and for Prime Minister every 4 years. In this election, all 500 seats in the Constituent Assembly and 50 of the 150 senators in Whiteshore are out for grabs in these elections and these are the four major political parties competing in the Parliamentary Election:

Progressive Socialist Party:
A coalition of Nikolai Aguilar's Socialists and Lizaveta Ivanov's left-leaning faction of the Whiteshorian Liberty Party, they stand for Social Democracy, Universal Health Care, Abortions for the first 2 trimesters, Same-Sex Marriage, cuts in the military to in Lizaveta Ivanova's words "create a smaller but more efficient military", more multilateralism, closer ties to Asigna Philippines, and "Progressive Nationalism" in their platform

Whiteshorian Civic Forum:
Having absorbed the centrist faction of the Whiteshorian Liberty Party, they have now become the main centrist political party in Whiteshore as the Liberty Party collapses due to it's connection to Alexander Tang's disastrous rule, they are led by Oleg Fyodorov and call for a centrist economic stance, Civil Unions but not Same-Sex Marriage, Abortions for the first trimester, military cuts but not as much as the Progressive Socialists, and they also call for pragmatic interventionism in their foreign policy agenda as well in their platform

Conservative Alliance of Whiteshore:
A coalition ranging from Liberal Conservatives to Far-Right Populists, they are the main right wing party in Whiteshore and are led by Grigori Kuznetsov and his Christian Democratic faction, their platform calls for Liberal Capitalism, LGBT rights being decided by local governments instead of national governments as well as Abortions, no military cuts at all and an anti-communist foreign policy as well.

Whiteshorian Liberty Party:
Due to Alexander Tang's disastrous rule, the Whiteshorian Liberty Party is slowly collapsing as it's left-leaning faction bolts to the new Progressive Socialist Party and the Centrists bolt to the Whiteshorian Civic Forum, reinvigorating it, they are led by Lavrenti Matveev and their platform calls for Keynesian Capitalism, a Strong Military with some cuts, Support for civil unions, a strong interventionist stance, and Abortions being legal in the first trimester of Pregnancy

In the People's Republic of Zhouran, the conservative nationalists support the Conservative Alliance of Whiteshore, but many of the neoconservatives are unhappy that the Whitshorian Civic Forum isn't conservative enough.

As for the liberals, they partially support the Progressive Socialist Party for its liberal stance, but they dislike the fact that the PSP wants closer ties with Asigna Philippines, and how they admire "Progressive Nationalism", which is seen by liberals as a low-level ideology.

As for moderates, they support the Whiteshorian Civic Forum.

Meanwhile, hardliners dislike almost all of the parties listed, but they do have some faith for the Conservative Alliance of Whiteshore.

POWER AND PEOPLE EDITORIAL By Rosa Rivera Things one must know about Whiteshore and the bayan Whiteshore for such a long time has been a staunch friend of the bayan and seemingly plans to keep this foreign policy until these times. Even the numerous times the ex punong has committed foreign policy blunders which had ultimately resulted in the weakening of the bayan's prestige and reputation world wide, Whiteshore still manages to hold on to close ties with the bayan. Why is this so? The relationship between the bayan and the Whiteshorian people exceed political interests and are well entrenched due to the many common things shared by both Whiteshorian and bayan culture despite stark contrasts such as how Whiteshore is ethnically Russian and the bayan is predominantly Austronesian, particularly Filipino. Filipinos have been traveling freely back and forth from Whiteshore even before the Terten regime because of the Philippines's poor economic situation, OFWs were relatively common, but unlike in any other countries, OFWs find themselves well accepted in the Whiteshorian society and also comfortable as well, despite the distress caused by several events that threatened the instability of the country. This friendliness amongst the local populace and Filipinos culminated in the establishment of several agreements and informal alliances which through thick and thin survived. Most of the agreements between Whiteshore and the bayan are said to have not been written at all and are merely existing due to mutual understanding, existing mutual attitudes towards each other and towards certain issues making the two communities the best of friends. Whiteshore has also been a close follower of several philosophies that were born from the bayan such as progressivism and world wide integration and globalization. This is eveident due to the contemporary existence and influence of social movements such as the progressive socialist party of Whiteshore and the loyalty of its current prime minister Aguilar towards the idea progressivism. Whiteshorian troops also have a history of fighting alongside Filipino forces, particularly during the Islamist insurgencies in Lebanon, though unfortunate, the fact that Whiteshorian troops were brave enough to stay and fight alongside with Filipino forces even if it means having to go through defeat makes it clear that this alliance is more than just a strategic partnership for political convenience, rather, this is a friendship between two community by heart and soul and it is clear that this may last for long. Senator Lizaveta Ivanova has just given a stirring speech in New Moscow where she is running for reelection for a 3rd 6-year term in which she defended her party's platform as the best path for Whiteshorian progress, called for a more democratic government, denounced "corrupt officials", and finally said that defense cuts will make the military more efficient and reduce waste.

Representative Oleg Fyodorov has also given a speech for his run for the Senate where he claimed that the Whiteshorian Civic Forum offers a middle path between Socialism and Conservativism with it's platform.

Senator Grigori Kuznetsov has given a speech where he stated that Conservativism will save Whiteshore from the threat of anarchy and ensure that "law and order" prevails. His speech also stated that LGBT rights and Abortions being decided by local governments would ensure that the local people have a voice in whether they are legal or not and ensure that the rights of local governments are not violated

Parliamentary Elections are currently occurring in the Imperial Federation of Whiteshore. While multi-party democracy is inferior to the democratic centralism of our Progressive Socialism, it is a tool which can be used to bring our ideology to a position of supremacy. While the Progressive Socialism of Whiteshore is not the true Progressive Socialism, being formulated in the late 19th Century in the Greater Ardokian Empire and liberating Ardoki in the Progressive Revolution of 1904-1905, it is still a good ideology. The Progressive Socialist Labour Party of Ardoki would like to officially endorse the Progressive Socialist Party of Whiteshore in the oncoming election.
