I would disagree with you go to any Club in any city and see the cars their you would often see a driver with it even the Ambassadors would have a driver

That's still a vast vast minority of people who have a driver. Even if someone has a big powerful car, doesn't mean they have a driver. And yes, an Ambassador would have a car. That's a given. How many Ambassadors are there though?

Dude, just because you live in India where labour is cheap so people who are even a little wealthy have chauffeurs does not mean that everyone elsewhere has chauffeurs.

I highly doubt anybody roaming around with a big car would take a pain driving the car himself, it is painful to drive a big car, If anybody is wealthy enough to purchase a big car, he would be wise enough to pay a driver so he can sit in the back seat, the point is of leg room, there are cheaper cars with wider leg room and some expensive cars don't even have good leg room behind.
by Iwassoclose » Thu Feb 26, 2015 12:22 pm
Should it be viewed as such though? Or should it be viewed as a foolish investment (a much cheaper car can still get you from point A to point B and may even last longer as a functional vehicle) or as a sign of personal insecurity?

You are so wrong about how the world outside of your country works it's almost hilarious.

I just find it difficult to believe that anybody would take a big car and drive it himself, it is just plainly stupid to do so, for driving yourself you take a smaller car that is easy to drive, or you take a good motorcycle like a bullet.

Nope. I prefer to drive my own cars.
Mostly because I love to be the one in control. I don't mind other people driving for me, but I just prefer it as a matter of convenience.

I don't plan on visiting any other country in the foreseeable future so it is ok, the point is in my case, it does not matter as I anyways would not drive some big hummer and a simple jeep/ Suv would do the job for me, the car should be 4 wheel drive though and should be able to survive higher altitude like Rohtang pass and should have a good suspension and breaking system.

Would you not prefer to sit behind eat food, read the newspaper, browse your laptop, while some other guy is taking you out of the traffic

Dude, you're criticizing people on what you see what happens at clubs.
What you see in clubs and with ambassadors is HARDLY the equivalent of "everyone who drives a sports car".
