These days are a time of change for the Bloc. Imperial Powers grow in the West, and in the East there is much reform. Rapid expansion by Badassistanian in South America and its growing ties with the nationalist regime of Togeria are cause for concern. Syndikat grows more powerful by the day, being the home of democracy in the bloc. Rhaetia-Grischun emerges as a nation, and Volkstrad mourns the death of its leader, Valko Markov.

What will happen in this new day, this new age?

The dictator begins to make aims at expanding his empire and decides that to keep his military running he will need more fuel which makes Venezuela a good choice while the country of Uruguay has been completely cutoff by the empire so vassalisation of them would also be a good choice so the dictator sends these to the council to be reviewed.

Rhaetia-Grischun is at a point of great transition. The government is working towards improving how the country runs on a daily basis. For this, it needs powerful allies to protect it.
The Foreign Secretary is attending the funeral of Valko Markov in Volkstrad. Prior to the funeral, he spoke to Volkstrad leaders regarding increased friendship between Volkstrad and Rhaetia.
"We see Volkstrad as a friend and saviour in this time of great need. Rhaetia is tremendously grateful for this support, and pledges to not be short-changed. We are always here for Volkstrad."

After Chairman Markov's horrible accident on transit to Herzgorod, our Chairman was pronounced dead this morning at 6:00 AM.
A massive funeral procession is being held across Khoranostgrad, as his coffin is being carried by VPA Honorguards. Thousands are present to mourn his death.

The Volkboard will be meeting later to hold elections on choosing the next chairman of the Democratic Republic of Volkstrad.

It has been 9 years since Syndikat's inception. In that time Syndikat has grown and proven itself. Syndikat has sent men to space, participated in the Second Great Socialist War, grown its economy and military, and put itself on the world stage.

In these 9 years, the man leading the charge has been Dan Braun. Initially he was a leader in the SyndRev militia, and he then became the first Prime Minister of Syndikat. As mandated by the constitution, in less than a year Braun will end his run as Prime Minister, bringing the opening chapter of Syndikat to an end.

In his final year as Syndikat's leader, Braun has made it his mission to make Syndikat into the power it has the potential to be. Over the next year Syndikat will be doing things that are unlike it. Syndikat will be expanding its borders, growing its military, and developing new technologies. Syndikat will become a thriving power, whilst also remaining a bastion of personal freedom and democracy.

In an official statement, Braun has expressed his sympathy to those close to Markov, and to the Volkstradi people. Braun has wished the best of luck to Volkstrad in choosing a new leader.

I have no plans of invading you or Volkstrad. I'd be insane to do such a thing. You and I will share a border when all is said and done, though you will have plenty of room for expansion of your own, and, again, I will not be invading you or Volkstrad. I'm going to attempt to annex the land I desire peacefully, as I did with Iberia, though if I need to I will use force.

The dictator now meets with the leaders of Uruguay to discuss their loyalty to the dictatorship and hopefully becoming a vassel of the emporer and the empire.

Meanwhile near the Venezuelan and baddassistanian border General Cain rallies troops and forms a 100,000 man (including tupi elites) invasion force and plan to take the country by storm as artillery is set up by the border and bombers take off and are defended by advanced badassistanian jets. The council officially signs the declaration of war against Venezuela for the dictator as he is in Uruguay.

Upon coming to Markov's Mausoleum, the coffin is laid down and a dozen VPA Honorguards with rifles stand.

Zdravko Lazarov, Marshal of Volkstrad, stands in full military uniform and decoration. He begins to speak:

"Comrades! For fifteen years Chairman Markov has led and guided Volkstrad! In that time, we have become strong! He led us from a backwater nation in Europe to the greatest and one of the most powerful in the world! Markov was a man of the people, and drastically improved the human rights of every man, woman, and child in our great nation. It has increased in territory, and power over his reign, and become stronger. Our enemies fear us, and our allies love us! From today, we shall honor the memory of this great man by doing what he would have wanted for us: to do as best we can for the people of Volkstrad! Even in death, Markov stays with us! Glory to Volkstrad!"

With this, the VPA rifleman fire off several volleys and the coffin is carried into the mausoleum.
The carriers walk out and then seal the door, the mechanism closing into the shape of a cog, surrounding and engraving of the Coat of Arms of Volkstrad.

Wanting to advance the anthrax weapons program the bioengineers begin to work on making the symptoms of the disease worse by engineering the gene to affect the nervous system and cause blindness. To succeed at this the engineers work with a type of anthrax known as brain anthrax.

VENEZUELAN BORDER

troops begin to fill into the country as the terrain is no challenge to the south American soldiers. The troops almost immediately run into defensive soldiers putting major advance to a standstill as advanced stealth bombers begin to bomb from above. The badassistanian navy dispatches the 5th and 8th fleets to blockade the country's oceans.

At the conclusion of Markov's service, Braun finishes paying his respects, and then goes home. He has work to do. Delegates are sent to the areas of Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Italy, to attempt to negotiate integration into Syndikat. Knowing that the negotiations are unlikely to succeed, the 1st through 5th Syndikati Armies, and 1st Syndikati Air Force are prepared for mobilization to annex the areas by force if need be.

After the conclusion of the funeral of Markov, the Volkboard has begun elections for the next chairman.
Marshal Lazarov is expected to win, and to continue both as Marshal and as the Chairman.

The nation of Uruguay has officially accepted and has now sworn oath to the empire. The dictator now returns to the capital happy that the negotiations were succefull and now turns his focus to the war in venezuela as the fleets sent begin to blockade the country and troops begin to continue to advance through the south after breaking the defensive and now advanced badassistanian tanks/mechs follow the troops in as tupi elites lead the charge.

The results from the elections are in: Marshal Lazarov has been chosen as the new Chairman, and is the first to hold both the position of Chairman and Marshal since the first days after the revolution, when the revolutionary leader Sebastian Grigorescu took power.

A patriotic parade will be held to celebrate the Marshal's victory in the elections as he is sworn in, and then makes his first speech in office.

Intellagence pointing twords the collapse of the venezuelan government has surfaced which means that the country is slowly slipping into pandemonium which Will cause our advance to increase in speed as troops continue to move to word the capital which is just now being blockaded.

The USP has forged itself through trials of fire and steel. After the end of the Second Great Socialist War, the USP made it's debut as a power able to defend itself, with a sizable and reasonably well-equipped military.

The year is 89 BR, and Lilya Alkaev remains head of the Communist Party. Her policy continues to be one of a gentle and motherly ruler towards the people of the USP, but pursues relative isolationism and distrust of other powers.

The USP's population has once again boomed, and the economy is now relatively strong. Some party members suggest that the apex of socialism may soon be reached.

Years, so many years. Togeria has been in a state of peace, the nationalist regime while in the beginning viewed as warmongers are now thought as harbingers of peace, at least by the Togerians. The installment of the second Fumetsu has brung a great period of peace, and prosperity to the nation. Education is key, only to defense, and the cities have been rebuilt as to show the clash of cultures. Togeria has been rebuilding itself, becoming stronger each day, it's capital, Toryama has become one of the most renowned cities. Futuristic tech once only used for the military is now being incorporated to civilian life.

Togeria looks to it's neighbors, while the change has helped the country, it has also had the effect of distancing them from other nations. The military has been restructured, expected to be deadlier then ever. Long wars had hurt the nation, long wars had nearly broken the empire, but no more. It had been restructured in such a way that when they hit, they hit to kill, and will not make any mistakes.

The more liberal kind has flocked to Je-Sun(Japan), and have taken the title "Republic of Togeria". This has caused minor skirmishes between the Republic, and the Empire. Both believe to hold sovereignty over each other, and as such have adopted a one nation policy. Still the empire is stronger, and as such the republic follows their rules....at least most of them.

At 2:56 pm Venezuela had fallen to the baddassitanian forces though most of the country remains in full anarchy do to the collapse. Martial law is enforced in order to end the anarchy and get the citizens back to work and there normal life's. Rebuilding of the cities begin as dead soldiers and civilians are buried and sent to the heaven's above.

Marshal Lazarov has been sworn in as the new Chairman of the Volkboard. From now, by decree of our new leader, Volkstrad will be officially the "Socialist Federal Republic of Volkstrad", changing from the "Democratic Republic of Volkstrad". The Marshal will now visit each an every Province of Volkstrad, touring the land and the capital of each one, and meeting with the people and leadership there. After that, he will visit various nations across the world to speak with the leaders and people of their nations.
