6th Kejian Motoriseeritud Jalaväerügement, 3rd Company, 1st Platoon, 2nd Squadron, 4th Team, Lance Corporal Sekiaj Mojre
Mojre could still hear the screams of Whitsburg as he stepped inside of his squadron's HYENA. It had been two years since the People's Republic of Kejia had invaded the Republic of Kejia. Unlike the previous wars when Ontorisa was involved, this one saw the PRK suffer immense casualties as they tried to make headway into the Republic. Since then, the PRK's economy had never recovered, their population likewise. Their life expectancy dropped while the Republic's rose and their economy began to stabilize. The war hadn't done much good for the PRK, if anything, it backfired and did not see a collapse in the government. Instead, the PRK lost one of their most valuable assets within the Republic: The Rahva Vabastusarmee Valvur Kejia Saared (RVVKS) or the People's Liberation Guard of the Kejian Islands. Since the growth of the Republic, the RVVKS had grown weaker and weaker by the increased military combat against them. Mojre knew this, he was with the 6th when they stormed an RVVKS stronghold, taking it and executing the RVVKS command. The insurgents never had a chance after, and soon the organization became a faint memory in the Republic's mind.
Kejia, now a divided island, was about to see its reunification, under the democratic choices of the people, not the dictatorship of the Mikalo regime.
The HYENA started up and began to move forward down the paved road. These roads were once dirt roads, covered in gravel during the winter time and became muddy whenever it rained. Now, it was a paved road, leading to the recently grown city of Kamik. They would meet up with the rest of the attack force, with their goal being the PRK city of Elimua. They sat, silently readying up for the coming assault.
"Tch, Sekiaj," Mojre looked up from his thoughts at his friend, Lance Corporal Hrema Pukuja as he spoke. "We'll be fine. The PRK's done for."
"You sure about that Pukes?" One of the other soldiers called out as the troops in the HYENA laughed.
"I'm pretty fucking sure about that!" Pukuja called back, a tiny bit irritated.
It was good that the soldiers were poking fun at each other. They were releasing the stress that was building up with the planning of the assault. All of these men had seen action against the now destroyed RVVKS. Regardless, these men were ready and knew how to handle themselves. The HYENA stopped suddenly as the troops looked around. Peaking outside, Mojre saw the 4-story apartment buildings of Kamik.
"Alright ladies! Everyone out! Out!" Mojre's squadron commander shouted out as the men started to dismount from the HYENA. "Let's go! We're dismounting and heading across!"
Mojre got out, grabbing his HK 416 assault rifle out of the HYENA before forming up in the company that had gathered. A man, about 5"10, 210 pounds and wearing the Kejian uniform with a ballistic vest over top and a military cap, walked at the front, shouting.
"Listen up boys! 3rd's got the pleasure of spearheading our regiment's advance against the pricks right across that border." The man called out. "For those who don't know me, shame on you and shit, all of that, I'm Captain Trkeam Azeral. My job is to make sure we finish our objectives and to keep you all alive. I promise you, one of those goals will be completed."
The men shouted in eagerness. Everyone wanted revenge from the Reds, every single man, woman and child wanted to put a bullet into Mikalo's head from his choices. He was no representative of the people, he was a tyrant, a dictator, a genocidal maniac, just like his father. Azeral continued his speech, rallying the company.
"Now, before we advance mindlessly, remember your training. We're trying not to get bogged down like Whitsburg. You suppress, move up and find cover. Advance quickly, smoothly and you kill every single fucking Red in your path." Azeral listened to the shouts and joyful yelling from the men before raising his hand, silencing the company. "Get ready, we're heading out in the Shields over there."
There was a long line of TTS-22 Light Armoured Personal Carriers, all of them with their doors opened for the troops to board up inside. Loyalist soldiers began to load up, calling over one another to keep the troops organized.
"Witch Hunter 3-3 in this one here!"
"Priest 2-4 over here!"
"Viking 1-2 here!"
That was his, Viking 1-2. Mojre followed the sound of the voice until he found himself sitting inside of the APC, waiting as the troops loaded up and the doors shut. Mojre turned on his radio and listened, resting as the APCs started up and moved. It seemed forever before he heard the soaring of jets and explosions in the distance.
"All callsigns, all callsigns. This is NORCOM. Operation Lancer is a go. I repeat, Operation Lancer is a go. Go get them guys." A voice called out over the radios as Mojre continued to have his eyes closed as the APCs rumbled on to Mikalo's doorstep.

Loyalist Forces Strike At Dawn!

Republic of Kejia-People's Republic of Kejia Border - It is similar to the July War all over again, except it is not the forces of democracy that are under siege, but the forces of Mikalo. Thousands of Kejians are currently waving the Republic's flag as an official declaration of war was released today by the government in Oksbyre.
KDR Officials have confirmed that Republic of Kejian forces have crossed the border between the People's Republic of Kejia and the Republic of Kejia on a new offensive to reunite Kejia, to overthrow Mikalo and prosecute him for the mistreatment of hundreds upon thousands of Kejians within the People's Republic of Kejia.
One soldier was reported saying "We'll be in Kejiasburg in a week, sitting in Mikalo's palace and sipping his champagne" while another said "We're a new force to be reckoned with. A new fighting machine." These statements do have depth to them following the People's Republic's decline in their economy following the ceasefire to end the July War. Since the end of the July War, the KDR has been busy combating the communist and reunification insurgents in the Republic, effectively annihilating them over the years. These, along with the increase in the Republic's economic strength have given new hope for a reunified Kejia.
Currently, the Ontorisan spokespeople at the embassy have not given their word on the current situation. Instead, the Ontorisans are still reoccupied with their civil war.

Some of you may remember me from this thread here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=306374. Well, it has been quite some time since that war ended, with the People's Republic taking massive losses in face of a huge BLUFOR army group that was converging on their doorstep. Now, the Republic of Kejia, for the very first time, is advancing against the People's Republic. However here are some things that have change since the end of, what the previous thread is now being called, the July War:
- RVVKS eliminated in two sub-sequenced counter-insurgency operations
- Decline in the KTE's fighting abilities from the counter-insurgency operations
- Rapid modernization of the KDR's equipment, training and fighting capabilities
- Rapid decline in the People's Republic of Kejia's economic standings and military capability
- Drop in the People's Republic of Kejia's military quality
- Increase in the Republic's economic and military strength
As you can see, the Republic of Kejia is no longer a frail and fragile country with a mediocre military. Now they have grown into a fully-fledged nation, ready to retake northern Kejia.
