Diadochia's to host Pandosian Expo 2015

With nearly a week after Christmas and the continued Christmas festivities and ceremonies still going on and the festive preparations for the New Year, all of Diadochia has waited patiently for the announcement they have waited for since the start of September. The official announcement of Diadochia's hosting of the Pandosian Expo 2015. The weekend after Christmas had been filled with buzz, as the Diadochian people and all of Pandos waited for the moment they had all been waiting for.

The buzz only heightened as the nation’s various television networks prepared to pick up the feed from the Imperial and Royal Court, anticipation among the nation’s people and the people of Pandos and the world spiked as the first images from the feed revealed that the Emperor would be making the announcement from the Imperial Palace of Atlantis' Throne Hall, rather than from a more intimate location.

After the Empress, Crown Prince, the Imperial Family, Prime Minister and the rest of the Government ministers took their places the television networks were given the signal to cut live to the Imperial and Royal Court's feed and within seconds televisions across the nation; had their regular programming replaced by a dark purple screen bearing the Imperial crest. The crest faded and the voice of The Right Honourable, Andreas Karistinos , the Prime Minister, proclaimed in a loud booming voice, “Your program has been interrupted to bring you this special report.” After this the Emperor stood up and began to read from his prepared speech, Announcing the official hosting of the Pandosian Expo 2015. The speech was followed by polite applause from the assembled audience. I for one can not wait until the Expo starts in Atlantis. Its one thing I can and will not miss.

Empress to visit Diadochia

This very day, Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Sophia, wife of the reigning Emperor Francis IV of Cranaeia, shall travel to Diadochia, the land of her birth on an official state visit to the court of her brother the Diadochian Emperor, Nikolas VI. The Empress will no doubt reach the Diadochian capital Atlantis, within the day. Almost a month ago, the Empress's Private Secretary issued a press release indicating that she would be absent from Cranaeia for a few weeks to pay an official visit to Diadochia. This time around the Imperial Court of Cranaeia has confirmed that the reasons for the Empress' travels to the Diadochian Empire is that a new treaty of friendship is being proposed between the two countries. Sources at the Imperial Court of Cranaeia have stated that the Empress will stay at the Diadochian Imperial Court, the most fantastic and elaborate royal court in all of Pandos.

Sconemark prepares for New Year

As Sconemark, Pandos, and the rest of the world prepare for the new year. The Skånish people have prepared to listen to the annual New Year Address given to them by their Queen, Mary IV of Sconemark. By tradition the New Year Address given by the Queen is issued on December 30th, the second to last day of the year. All of Sconemark waited in anticipation for the Queen's New Years Address.

As is tradition, Her Majesty Queen Mary IV shall deliver her New Years Address at exactly 4:00 p.m. The annual New Years address of the Queen is broadcast live on both the Television, the radio, and even online from The Queen’s office in Helligkors Palace. The Queen's main residence in the Skånish capital, Kagenburgh. The Queen's Address addressed many issues and points plaguing the nation.

The Queen's speech was as follows:
A year has 365 days; this is the same for everyone, but how different it seems to a child or a young person, to an adult or elderly person. Often times it seems that Christmas takes a long time to get here, and it is a whole year until one’s birthday, and an eternity till the summer holidays. Later in life, time passes much faster; it feels as if summer has just ended when New Year’s Eve is here; over and over again. This time it is no different.

However, regardless of your age, a new year will always be a year of opportunities. As one grows older, experiences change as people grow when faced with a new year and new times, whether hardship or successes prevail. These are troubled times that we live in. An ever changing world, a world that fifty years ago was completely different. The global economic crisis is evident to all, not least here in Pandos, where we face major problems, which affect all aspects of society, and our daily life. From the highest to the lowest all of Sconemark must change with the times and grow with the years. On this evening I send a warm greeting to all Skanes living both inside and outside of our country’s borders, and to the many, who have maintained ties to their Skånish homeland – in some cases through generations. I wish you all a happy New Year

I would like to take this time to let all my loyal subjects, know that, We are delighted and touched by the sincere interest in our family shown to us by all, both Skane and Foreign alike. We thank you for the continued loyalty nearly six hundred years in the making. I wish all families could experience as many happy moments as we do in mine; to see their children grow up and mature, and their grandchildren thrive and spread joy. Yet we all know that life may turn out very differently, and that we may encounter rocks and obstacles, which may tax the courage of the best.

During difficult times such as these, it is especially important that we look out for one another and that we be ready to encourage and offer support wherever we can. Let us enter the New Year knowing that we can be there for each other. God bless you all

As you see the Queen's New Year Address was very modern and heartfelt, surly touching the hearts of all the Skånish people. With only a day left of this year, all of Sconemark and Pandos must look to the new year with different hopes and dreams as we all enter the new year arm and arm and together.
