The rules by which the delegates must abide are outlined in the code of conduct.
1. Diplomatic courtesy shall be a top priority of the summit. Therefore, nations using expletives, derogatory language, slurs (racial or otherwise), suggestive language, sexually explicit language, or a langage other than English, face censure with a chance of expulsion.
2. Nations believed to be acting against the spirit of peaceful, cooperative negotiation described in the ISCCC's mission statement will be warned by the speaker. Repeat offenders face censure or expulsion.
3. Nations within this committee agree to seek diplomatic solutions prior to engaging in open conflict. Nations engaging in warfare without seeking peaceful alternatives will face expulsion. [EXCEPTION: All nations have the inherent right to self-defense if attacked.]
4. Delegations shall not attempt to discredit the merits of either economic system.
5. Nations that believe their nation, beliefs, institutions, or their delegates have been unjustly offended have a right to reply. Nations desiring to use a right reply should clearly state their intention. However, if the chair believes the reply is antagonistic or only further escalates conflict, they may censure the reply.
