United Kingdom covers up Pedos in the parliament

Postby Manisdog » Fri Nov 21, 2014 12:16 am

I am not honestly sure how they viewed pedophilia in the 1980's over there but there is something known as common decency, today I feel the heights of common decency have been broken, it is honestly appaling and shocking that they would let such crimes go unpunished against little children, it is just sad and if there was such a cover it shows the true character of a nation, it is a sad day in the history of this world that such things go on unpunished. The united kingdom should take more actions to protect at least children, it is the least they could do, I think the united nations should send people to investigate this because certainly local british authorities want to cover this up.
For nearly two decades, the man known as “Big Cyril” waddled about the United Kingdom’s parliament, all bombast and waggling fingers. Rumored to be the heaviest member of parliament in British history — weighing over 400 pounds — he would spread his considerable girth across the bench of the House of Commons, grinning in good times, glowering in bad.

Most everyone remembers Cyril Smith. The member of Parliament had a personal touch. He sang. He went on pal Jimmy Savile’s BBC show.

He also, according to hundreds of allegations since his 2010 death, was a pedophile of historic proportions.

That fact was one of many in a dossier prepared 30 years ago by a crusading member of Parliament who warned of a powerful pedophile ring of “big, big names.” At the time, the man told his family the allegations were “explosive,” according to the BBC. It would, he told his son, “blow the lid off” of the pedophile ring and perhaps take down powerful, famous sex abusers who had infiltrated the highest reaches of British life.

×Ads by Plus-HD-9.4Despite the purported power of the allegations, they weren’t aggressively pursued and no arrests or prosecutions followed. “My father [Geoffrey Dickens] thought that the dossier at the time was the most powerful thing that had ever been produced, with the names that were involved and the power that they had,” son Barry told the BBC late last week after it emerged that the document has since gone missing. “It just seems so suspicious that something so important could just go missing.”

well, at least we know not everyone was in on it right, there's no way the PM herself would ignore dossiers given to her and have a "known pederast" and caught red handed several times pedophile working directly under her, right? surely the great iron lady would have stopped this tragedy?

I know that they aren't to keen on justice but this is certainly the heights, the united nations should be brought in and international pressure should be put on Britain

"...pal Jimmy Savile...”

Did these guys have some sort of sick club or did they just coincidentally share the same disgusting hobby?

What was it with people thinking that it was a good idea to cover-up paedophilia? It seems that literally everyone, from the IRA to the Catholic church and now the British parliament did it.

It's not just British MPs though. It's pretty much every group. Really this gives us a grim message about humanity in general when people were willing to try and shush things up for an easy life rather than do the right thing.

OP- to confirm, are you saying that the current UK government is actively relying to cover up allegations of paedophilia, or is it the local authorities that are doing it? You seem to be switching between the two. Also, it's not an area under the UN's mandate, really. If all the various organs in the UK fail to come to a satisfying conclusion, the EU is the likely body to try and get involved, but seeing as the British public is so p*ssed off about the whole outrageous thing and plenty of MPs both in and out of the government are pushing for a complete and thorough inquiry, I'm hopeful Parliament will get to the truth under its own steam.

To be honest, I don't know if they will or will not cover this up but this is the heights of sickery and the British authorties in the past have covered it up, I don't think they can be trusted with this, international pressure needs to be put on this country and investigations should be done by any authority from outside be it international or european

Yeah, a coverup shows the true character of a whole nations of sixty bloody million people, OP.
By the same standard, mass kidnappings of students define the whole Mexican nation, train bombings and mafia the whole Italian nation, religious violence the whole Indian nation, and so on.

Let's not smear millions of people with the responsibilities of some of them, be they criminal organisations, fundie groups or parts of the government.

Aren't you from India? As in, a nation with perhaps the most pervasive rape culture in the world? Should the UN intervene there to?

Fair enough, but what makes the UK, in your opinion, worthy of such international pressure and scrutiny? Considering that other past cover-ups and shocking acts have occurred in other nation's governments or at their behest. Also, what guarantee is there that international pressure would achieve anything concrete? And what would be the satisfying conclusion to come to, in your opinion?

There's a lot of shady things going on in the European governments. Especially the royals, they've been up to some pretty stingy stuff. I'll send you some links about European elite pedophilia rings:

http://beforeitsnews.com/crime-all-stars/2014/01/queen-elizabeth-and-cameron-issued-warrants-for-a-pedophile-ring-2448316.html (This site tends to go into conspiracy theories, but this article is based on solid evidence.)

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10953043/20-establishment-figures-in-elite-paedophile-ring.html(If you want a reliable news agency, then here you go)

http://scgnews.com/the-uk-political-pedophile-ring-scandal-is-just-the-tip-of-the-iceberg-the-full-story-is-much-more-d (This site tends to go into conspiracy theories as well, but the evidence they provide in this article is pretty solid.)

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/guilty-after-sixyear-trial-portugals-highsociety-paedophile-ring-2070112.html (This is about the Portugese political elite preying on young boys.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tas0kPLy4BU (Now this video puts fourth a lot of strong allegations against some very prominent people, but I'd also like to stress that this lady took a polygraph test and was proven to of told the truth. It's a lot to take in but I suggest watching it.)

Also I'd like to stress if you go out to places in Houston where young boys prostitute themselves you sometimes can see U.S state senators, mayors etc taking children into their vehicles. It's actually a scary reality when you think about it. And for Europe just go to poor areas of Romania, you can see German Politicians, French Politicians etc buying sex from young boys. It's like Joris Demmink, he was knighted by the queen of england even though he was a wanted man in Turkey for molesting two young boys. Most of these pedophiles though don't seem to actually lust for young boys, they seem to do it just because it's one of the most vile things they can possibly do. Having everything isn't enough for them I suppose.

I think if the scotland yard and the highest institutions of the government are engaging in such acts not so long ago in the 1980's, there would be a high chance that local British authorities would try to save face and deny these allegations or work in such a way as to suppress it, only a fair independent inquiry can get the truth out

No problem, just spread the word. These people need to be exposed, they're absolutely sick and they have no right to govern our countries, or any country for that matter.

Actually, it could be argued that by tackling such appalling acts and allegations by a thorough investigation the government would actually save face, or at least instil confidence in the populace that something was actually done to get to the truth and prosecuting those individuals who committed acts of paedophilia. At any rate, I don't see why, short of having a prejudice against the UK, one would automatically dismiss any domestic attempts to get to the bottom of this quagmire and conclude only the UN could solve it, given the pressure exerted internally from the public, media and politicians and other bodies.

They frankly did not view it as appalling so they have covered it up the past, they might as well do it now, it would only be fair if a third party investigation is done, they would rather want this to slide under the carpet but the truth would come out, they could easily conclude that these allegations are baseless and nothing like this happened, A third party investigation is necessary.

They normally don't want to publicize stuff about elite pedophiles due to the criticism they might receive.

Given the estimated proportion of paedophiles in other institutions is apparently something like 2%, any organisation with 650 members is going to statistically have a few.

The UK is apparently lower than 2%, so it's reasonable to assume there is something between 12 and 3 paedophiles as sitting members of government in the houses of parliament, although it is likely to be lower as those figures include both convicted and non-convicted offenders, and it is fairly obvious that known sex offenders would not be allowed to sit in parliament.

However, this is probably lower than a great many other governments out there. It's simply that this is one that was brought to light.
