Technically they where accidentally imported from somewhere else, but our climate regions allowed them to adapt and become one of the most feared and vicious animals in the ASR's wildlife. They mostly live outside of domestic areas, but have been known to lurk in nearby savannas and forests.
Any attempt of halting their growth process has been futile, as they have an alarming breeding rate. They've been known to attack anything that comes into it's territory, sometimes it even kills simply to keep any of the other animals from catching their prey, and it's prey seems to fill up the food chain.
