I've noticed that some NSers use their sig to tell everyone about the diseases, disorders, and disabilties they have. Some people have autism or bipolar disorder. One poster says they have Ebola. (Kelinfort, if you're reading this, tell my brother I said hi. I think he's in your left kidney.) I think I have even seen a poster with "Special Snowflake Syndrome," which I never heard of before, but that's probably because we don't get a lot of snow in Africa.
So I thought if people are interested in these disorders enough to put them in their sigs, then maybe it would be a good topic for a thread. Tell me, oh ye who use DNA, what disorders and diseases have ye? How have they affected your life? Are you trying to get them "cured," or have you embraced them? They say what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Have you found that to be true?
As a virus, it's not easy for me to get sick, so I don't have anything except a little bit of a cold that I picked up during a bad experience with antigenic shift. I hate having a cold, and I'm trying to figure out how to get this crap out of my gene sequence. *Cough* Bleahhhhh... Being sick sucks. No wonder you guys don't like viruses.
