Hi, I was just wondering why F7 posts don't appear in your post count. Could someone clarify this for me?

The topics in F7 are usually a little spammy in nature. The posts in F7 aren't counted to prevent people from spamming there so they can increase their post count.

I noticed if ever I posted in a thread I made then it doesn't seem to add to the overall post count.

Because TET is in NSG which is counted. We cannot turn off counting for a specific thread.

And moving TET out of NSG would defeat the purpose of TET.

But...than why don'y you allow F7 to be counted? Both seem rather spammy~

Just makes very little sense to me to say one type of spam is okay but another isn't...Chat about complete crap to your hearts content; but a randomtopic that you reply to is a big no-no? aha

Both F7 and TET often (obviously not always - TET has the upperhand in that) have the same amount of words in each reply.

The difference is that TET is moderation-sanctioned spam, where the other is not.

Each chat thread will be randomly archived after a certain point, so there is no need to race to fill up the pages – these are not designed for competition in mind, just discussion between players on whatever it is that’s on their minds at the time (so long as it is within the site rules.) Please, don’t do it.

No, this does not mean everyone can run out and create their own chat threads. There is one for F7, NSG, and Gameplay, and for now, that's all that will be running. Please do not go out and make your own. We still have to moderate things, and that's one of the reasons that chat threads are difficult - they move fast. Too many, and we'll drown. I hate drowning.

F7 posts are still counted, even if they aren't added to your visible post count. Go to a person's profile and you'll see.

They're counted as a numerical value without value, meaning they have no real count at all, but just to say that you have posts that don't count to your amount of posts, and y would be the numerical value with value, the ones that do count to your posts.
