Themiclesia has no legally defined theme colour, but the two colours in New Odessa that are related to Themiclesia are black and red. Black represents the vastness of the sky, observed at night, and red represents fire, whose lights emanated into the emptiness. This reflected the traditional worldview of the ancient Themeis, who though that the states of Themiclesia were the source of light, meant to civilize the entire world. This view is now considered blatantly offensive. The specific hue could be seen on our flag:

The current flag was the flag of the Grand Duchy era, post Christianization by the Teutonic Order and The commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania. It was formerly a black backdrop with a white Nordic cross. The black was to symbolize the darkness of reality while the white cross was to represent Christianity, Enlightenment, and purity This was switched to the white backdrop and single black stripe after the Reformation.

The current flag is representative of Christianity's history in Inolena. However the modern meaning of the flag is, white to represent purity and justice, with the black stripe to represent struggle and valor.
