Hair/Eye Color

So, NSG, time for another poll.

What is your hair/eye color? Why do you think that blue eyes/light hair are so widespread in Europe, even though blue eyes/light hair are recessive? Which colors are your favorite?

My eyes/hair: blue/blonde

I think that blue eyes are common in Europe (ex. 99% of people in Estonia have blue eyes, while 75% in Germany do) because of sexual selection. Blue eyes probably seemed rare and interesting, which was probably helpful in finding a mate.

Blonde hair is supposed to signify youth, which also probably helped with finding a partner.

My favorite eye/hair colors: green or hazel eyes/brown hair.

Maybe because even just a tiny amount of Dutch blood (less than 1/8 for me, IIRC) is enough to turn black hair to brown? That seems to be the case for me.

I'm a brown-haired guy with dark hazel eyes. Was a towhead in my youth and a lot of sun gets me some dark blond even now. Eye and hair color aren't high on the priority list, but I do like blonde/blues or greens, redhead/green, and black/green a lot.

I'm half Filipino, but my Filipino side is so predominate in my looks that people often think I'm full. Black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin for me. Literally the only thing I get from my Caucasian side is my proportions, I think.
