Welcome to Delta City International Aerodrome (ICAO Code: DCIA), the gateway to the Deltan Imperium! DCIA is the largest aerodrome complex in the Imperium, boasting 6 concourses, with a combined 140 gates, and four runways. With state-of-the-art systems for baggage, movement, and aircraft service, DCIA is on its way to become one of the World's premier destinations!
Our Services:
Guests can access the DCIA Terminal via road or monorail, with arrivals on the North side of the building, and departures on the South. The main lobby is designed with an open plan, featuring plenty of space between the outer wall and ticket counters. Once tickets have been purchased and luggage checked, guests can either proceed directly to their gates, or enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the Main Hall, which runs down the middle of the building, leading to the security checkpoint. Thanks to the use of advanced scanning systems, and less government regulations, the security process has been streamlined for ease of use, with wait times rarely exceeding 5 minutes! Guests then head to one of our 6 concourses to board their aircraft. Each concourse features its own shops and restaurants, giving guests plenty of options to choose from while waiting for their flights. And of course, Wi-Fi Internet access is provided in all areas, free of charge, with plenty of laptop/phone charging stations set up in each concourse!
Baggage claim is fast and easy, thanks to our advanced tracking system. Each piece of luggage is tagged with a bar-code label as it arrives, allowing guests to track their items as they travel from counter-to-plane, or plane-to-claim area.
Movement around DCIA is also a breeze, due to our Automated Passenger Train, or APT. This underground system runs from the Terminal to each Concourse, with a train departing each stop every 2-3 minutes. Guests can also walk through a tunnel running parallel to the APT tunnel if they choose. Also, as only Cirrus Transit has government approval to operate flights between Deltan cities, all other flights are considered international flights, and there are no separate baggage-claim facilities for domestic and international guests. Passport and custom checks are handled at time of check-in, before the flight.
Travelers to DCIA have direct access to Delta City's downtown business district, via HP Transit monorail service, which runs trains every 10 minutes direct from the aerodrome to its downtown station. Those wishing to drive can rent a vehicle and use Freeway 101, which connects right to the Terminal building. Guests can also get a connecting flight to other Deltan cities, provided by Cirrus Transit.
