During times of peace or war the current monarch may choose to disregard the Constitution if he/she believes it to be in the best interests for the people of Thaxanos.

Article One: A well regulated national and/or civilian Militia, being necessary to the security of a free Nation, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Article Two: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Article three: No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Article Four: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the Province and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

Article Five: Section 1: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within Thaxanos, or any place subject to its jurisdiction.
Section 2: The ruling monarch shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Article Six: Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in Thaxanos, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of Thaxanos and of the Province wherein they reside. No Province shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of Thaxanos; nor shall any Province deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Section 2: The validity of the public debt of Thaxanos, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither Thaxanos nor any Province shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against Thaxanos, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Section 3: The ruling monarch shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Is the 20 laws that are the closes thing Maldovania has to a constitution. Emperor Maximilian XVIII wrote them in 1961. But Empress Louise VII finished them not many days ago.

1. The Emperor\Empress is head of state and Prime Minister head of government. All political power is with the Prime Minister and Federal Assembly and Federal Council

2. All citizens shall be given equal opportunity

3. Health care shall be free for all and euthanasia is legal if the patients is terminal ill and their is no hope for recovery

4. Education shall be free for all up until university

5. All Religions are free to practices their fate in Maldovania. As long as it does not harm others

6. Women and men shall be payed equal salary on the same work

7. People shall be hired based on their qualifications and not gender or skin color

8. The Police shall uphold the law inside the country

9. The Military shall uphold the safety of Maldovania

10. Nature shall be protected

11. All Criminals shall be given a lawyer and be judge by a jury. Civilians shall not stand in front of a military tribunal

12.A-Women are free to have abortions if they do not wish to keep the child. But it must happen before the second trimester. After that abortion is not allowed.
12.B- And men who do not wish to be fathers are free to have an economic abortion were they do not need to pay child support for a child they did not wish to have. This law only applies to men that has been tricked into fatherhood

13. Their shall be elections every 4th year for elections of the Prime Minister and Federal Assembly. And elections every 4th year for elections of the regionals councils. And 2 years shall go between the elections of the Federal Assembly and the regional councils

14 .Members of the Imperial Family that is not directly related to the Emperor his wife and children do not have immunity from the law. Only the Emperor\Empress and his close family wife\Husband and children have immunity from the law. But this immunity does not apply if the crime child molestation.

15. The death penalty can only be given in time of war. Not in peace time

16. The Culture of Maldovania shall be protected

17. The Infrastructure of Maldovania shall be given more money

18. The poor shall be given economic help.

19. The Unemployed shall be given help to find work

20. The amount of tax payed by a citizen shall be decided on the amount he makes. All citizens that makes more than 7000 Speciedaler must pay some tax. The Imperial Family must also pay taxes. The tax rate will be between 1% and 40 %. The poorest citizens will pay 1% and the riches citizens will pay 40%. All citizens and all businesses must pay taxes
