Imagine a city full of people ruthlessly pursuing wealth, fame and self-improvement, at any cost? Where everyone you met was either a celebrity, trying to be a celebrity, or used to be a celebrity? Where nature's bounty meant you could enjoy perfect weather all year round? Where the air was so good you could literally see and taste it? Dare to dream, because that city exists...

Intro: Skyline,USA: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of cocaine using love experts, aspiring actresses with fake boobs and fading celebrities, the emerging face of the western world, fighting a drug war on one front and a economic crisis on another. Amidst the turmoil, there's the ever present opportunity for fast cash and instant fame provided by a life on the edge, in organized and unorganized criminality.

For years this tourist town has been under the iron grip of organized crime, primarily dominated by the De Santa family, a group of East Coast Italian transplants who either watched too many gangster flicks or did too much coke in their spare time. Three federal indictments and the unexpected death of Anthony De Santa has left the family in terrible shape.

Skyline is a big town with lots of action and with rise of the city's entertainment scene; plenty of room for legitimate and illegitimate expansion.

Locations

• North Skyline- Formerly a world class desert and now a world class A-list suburb. Complete with country clubs, celebrities' and massage parlors.
• Downtown Skyline- Home of the Orchard strip; famous for it's long list of world renown night clubs, big time financial firms and most government buildings.
  -Aces-''Big Al'' De Santa's nightclub and unofficial headquarters
  -pLACE-A local nightclub owned by Robert Calhoun.
  -The Rise Lounge- A upscale after hours club owned by Robert Calhoun.Frequented by businessmen and politicians from city hall and Washington on vacation.
• West Skyline-If hipster could be bottled and planted in the ground then Western Skyline would be the tree that sprung forth. Complete with trendy nutrition gurus, pristine beaches and tourist traps galore. Everyone in Skyline can be found here at some time or another.
• East Skyline- Immigration Central if there ever was one. Recent migrants and aging immigrants can be found here living in conditions ranging from third world squalor to moderate wealth. Drugs are sold in the open and gun battles are frequent despite increased police presence. If you don't live here then don't go there.
  -Port of Skyline-The city's resident commercial port and unofficial immigration center. Recent arrivals from the Pacific and Asia normally disembark here as do a health share of the cities' illegal narcotics and firearms. Currently controlled a neutral ground.

Plot:Skyline is a major city on the west coast breaking into the entertainment industry and being rocked by the untimely death of both it's mayor and major organized crime figure Anthony ''Big Tony'' De Santa. Southern Cartels are branching out, local mob families are attempting to carve up De Santa's piece of the cake, movie execs use their infamous casting couches to interview prospect actresses and cops for the most part look the other way.

You join the story as a civilian trying to move up in the world, a cop trying to clean it up or a gangster trying to make his mark in it and make a quick buck while he's at it.

Personality: As a young Spanish-Italian youth growing up in relative poverty, Joseph was rather easy to recruit into the ''life'' as a young man. He started out like many others, running errands and holding contraband for the older gangsters before working his way in his involvement and commitment to the organization. By the age 16, he had already earned a criminal record an inch thick and a reputation for violence even among the criminal world. His mother, seeing that her son would soon be fully committed to his criminal lifestyle if she didn't act quickly, sent him away to Skyline hoping he would mend his ways with his relatives. The result was that the young Al left everything he had ever known to go across the country to live with relatives he had never seen. He retreated deep into himself and developed an aloof manner that marks him even in adulthood. When he arrived in Skyline, he was adamant about not taking handouts from his family and was committed to earning his own living without their help, and the only way he knew how to do such was to continue his criminal ways. Having being simple a young time mobster in the East to become a major hotshot in a then relatively small town in America, Al again earned a well deserved reputation from criminality but an addition mark for his willingness to do violence, hence his nickname ''Tommy Gunz'' .
Brief Background: Alphonse grew up in a urban town on the east coast, as a member of the De Santa clan. As a young man, he quickly became involved with organized crime, and earned a reputation for a willingness to commit any crime if the price was high enough. While not being a particularly flashy individual, Big Al attracted the attention of the local police force and soon it became apparent even to his family members that he was too deeply involved to just walk away, even if he wanted to. And so against his wishes, his mother sent him away to live with his cousins in Skyline who had supposedly carved out a decent living in the West as a movie producer.He initially resented this but it proved to be a blessing in disguise for the young man. He arrived in Skyline and expected to be received by uptight ''Hollywood types'' as he called them and instead was surprised to be greeted by his distant relatives entourage of criminal associates and happily discovered that his cousins too had found the straight life entirely too boring for their taste. He eagerly embraced the criminal portion of his families business and helped to grow it to be the dominant organized crime faction in the city under his cousin Fat Tony. After Tony's death from a heart attack; the De Santa organization is without leadership and Al looks like the perfect candidate to take over the reigns and reassert their place in the criminal underworld.

Personality - Robert Calhoun can either be your best friend, or your most hated adversary. The man chooses to be largely friendly and approachable, despite his background and social status. Robert Calhoun knows all 70 of his employees by name, and he knows their families, creating a bond between the big man and his employees. He is also a polite man, though when he is pushed or insulted, he can become extremely antagonistic, intent on removing whoever threatened him. He is not one to be coerced or threatened into agreeing with something, and will often retaliate.

Brief Background - Robert Calhoun was not supposed to reach his current heights. Born in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina, Calhoun came from a family of drunks and hillbillies. Due to the constant abuse of his parents, he spent most of his childhood running away from home and jumping between foster homes. Despite the trouble in his life, he managed to keep ahead in his studies, eventually earning a 4-year Army ROTC Scholarship to Norwich University, a military college in Central Vermont.

Robert Calhoun would spend the next 12 years following his graduation from Norwich serving in the Army as an Infantry officer, serving with the 82nd. Airborne, and later the 75th. Ranger Regiment. Following his honorable discharge as a Major, he would go on to join in on a business venture with some friends from college, with the goal being to open and run a successful nightclub in the city of Skyline. Putting his dual majors of Sociology and Business to work along with his leadership skills, Robert and his fellow partners managed to open up pLACE, a somewhat upscale nightclub catering to those in their 20-30s. pLACE was a successful venture, and 5 years later, Robert managed to put together The Rise, an upscale rooftop bar catering to the professional business crowd of the city. The Rise became a favorite of the business elite of the city, and Robert found himself rising to the top. He became known as an influential nightclub manager, always on the ground with his employees and ensuring that his guests were always feeling at home.

Recently however, several of Robert's partners in pLACE were implicated in a prostitution scandal, which almost shut pLACE down and left Robert alone to pick up the pieces. Despite being publicly accused of setting up the whole affair in order to ensure his sole control over pLACE, Robert and his legal team were able to fight off the charges.

He had gangster humor, gangster slang and everything but was soon forced to adapt in his new school, filled with hipsters and other weird social labels. He's cunning and intelligent mind soon noticed the lack of any formal criminal presence in east Skyline. From the he created a crew of like minded individuals and sold anything that was a contraband. He is intelligent and worked the numbers himself so that none can screw him over. He still has traces of his west Skyline slang in his speech.

Brief Background: After 15 years of gang life, Franklin and his mother moved to West Skyline. Franklin started a small time drug and smuggling business within school. After graduating from school, Franklin used his savings and went to college. Getting a degree in Culinary Studies, Franklin proceded to create a little restaurant by the edge of East Skyline and Downtown Skyline. There he cooked food and pushed drugs into East Skyline. Several years of doing this had made him known to the big criminal organizations within the city. His restaurant became a meetimg place for the various crime families and gangs while Franklin himself was the middleman for these organizations. For this none had challenged his monopoly of East Skyline's smuggling and drug trade other than some small time crews who had the great idea of sourcing their own drugs and selling them in their secluded neigbourhoods. They were not a threat. Franklin bought a medium size music bar in the heart of Downtown Skyline and is operated normally but with the rock, old and new, scene. With the death of "Big Tony" De Santa whom had left him with instruction that his heir be guided through the shitstorm that would happen after his death, Franklin was awaiting the heir to come and find him. "Big Tony" had promised him several businesses if he helped his heir navigate through the storm.

I wouldn't object to that, However the De Santa clan is or atleast currently is the most influential criminal group in Skyline.

Occupation: CEO of the Pacific Property Group (officially), Chairman of the National Crime Syndicate (secretly)
Personality: A well educated and vain man, Meyer Levinsky is a skilled and cunning businessman, but also harbors a dark side in the form of his ruthlessness, cruelty and extreme paranoia.
Brief Background: Born in 1961 to Jewish immigrants in New York City, Menchame Aharon Shamir lived a childhood filled with poverty and crime, involving himself in local street gangs and their subsequent brawls. He was however fortunate enough to go to a relatively good school and impressed his teachers with his willingness to learn and his intelligent. Completing High School in 1979 he was offered a scholarship to Suffolk University which he gladly accepted and upon his arrival he applied as 'Meyer Levinsky', dropping his real name. Graduating four years later with a basic degree in finance management he immersed himself in the business world. Then in 1987 he landed his first proper job in a local bank firm, where he came into contact with organized crime. Helping them to launder money he was brought into their ranks and officially became an associate of the National Crime Syndicate in 1990. Using his connections with them he managed to acquire the funds to start his own company, Levinsky Property & Wealth Management. Five years later it was a booming and expanding company and he had likewise moved up in the NCS.
