In late 1993 the President of the Democratic Kamchastkia was killed and a new force rose to power, the military became the rulers of Kamchastkia--their interests and needs cared for first, the mastermind of the plot was Simon Denisov, Kamchastkia's brutal dictator for the past 20 years. Though there was one unexpected thing Denisov hadn't cared much about until recently, and that was the militant resistance to his neo-fascist dictatorship. Almost immediately after the coup d'etat accomplished its goals, there was active confrontations between the fascist forces and the communist partisans who were fighting for the liberation of their homeland. Thousands have died from the conflict which has been ongoing for 20 years, and many more thousands of emigrated from the country, but the battle continues.
Though in the recent months, the military has been on the retreat. They have even left Dinigrad and the capital city of Koshelev, the entire coastline is under the control of the Communist partisans who have proclaimed people's war against the fascist occupiers of the northwest. The international community has not yet come to a formal consensus on this ordeal--but will they ever? Will there be intervention to save the people of Kamchastkia? Or will the conflict go on as it has for 20 years.
