So, this is a continuation of a old thread called the History of the World, but this is the revised version. Here the the ages:
Prehistoric Age: You have a tribe of people which slowly learn to make fire, hunt, gather, and finally farm. There may be variants of your tribe living elsewhere, to add extra to this RP. This stage might be a bit tedious, since it will take at least 1/3 of a month to finish this stage and enter the Copper Age. After this the Ice Ages end.
Copper Age: You tribe discovers copper and learns to use, smelt, and manipulate metals.
Bronze-Iron Age: Bronze is discovered in the first half of this age, and Iron is discovered in the second half. Your tribe can evolve or devolve into nations or city-states, respectively. This is an optional step, however.
Antiquity: This is basically the same age as Ancient Greece was. Nations further devolve stronger weapons and...NAVIES! That's right, finally, you can rule the seas (before this you could have navies but they would be small and vulnerable). Also, trade.
Pre-Middle Ages: This is the indeterminate stage between Early Middle Ages and Antiquity. Nations evolve and can develop strong economies to further strengthen their nations.
Early Middle Ages: This is where Christianity can start to take hold (or it may not, again, this is a open ended RP). Weapons such as pikes and greatswords appear. Someone who is a good RPer can take the position of a early Pope.
Dark Ages/Middle Ages: There are two options for this age:
1: Religion takes over logic and the world (or at least Europe) falls into the Dark Ages.
2: Logic takes hold and life goes on normally.
Proto-guns develop (before this stage there MAY be gunpowder based weapons, though).
Late Middle Ages: If the world (or Europe) fell into the Dark Ages they finally come out, if they didn't well then life goes on normally. Practical-use guns are invented, so the death toll for war rises.
Renaissance: Science takes a foothold and more sophisticated weapons and mechanisms develop. Large amounts of art can be sold to other nations for a large profit, and having art keeps your people happy.
Early Modern Age: This is right before the Industrial Age, thus small pockets of factories come out in huge cities.
Industrial Age: The western world gets a big boom as industries develop, thus increasing money by quite a lot. Some Middle-Eastern countries can also develop.
20th Century: Planes and later nukes develop (although primitive). Imperialism is at it's peak at the first half/third of this period, but after that it loses dramatically. In the later stage modern technology is developed.
21st Century: Well, basically it's the same tech as today. Not much to see here.
Post Modern Age: Technology that is currently in prototype now is in regular use.
Future Age: You know, interstellar empires, etc.
Post Future Age: Intergalactic and later Inter-dimensional travel.
Degenerate Era: Civilizations survive from the heat of white and red dwarfs.
Black Hole Era: Same as above, but with black holes.
End: Self explanatory. If the RP doesn't die sooner (which it probably will since this is so massive) This is the end. Black holes disappear and there is no more power left. The end of the Universe.

Please note that in the Prehistoric Age and the first half of the Stone Age that the water levels are lower and so lands like Indonesia and Britain are connected to the mainland. Also, ice covers Northern Europe, Asia, and North America, so think of that before marking a location for your tribe. Also, there are actually two species to choose from in this era, Humans, or Neanderthals. The latter is stronger and more resistant to cold weather, but the former is smarter. You can play as Neanderthals only if you are in the northern icy areas. Also, big mammals like mammoths are there in the Prehistoric and first half of the Stone Age, but after that they go extinct, unless you (it's risky) farm them.
