[OoC]: This is a continuation of my "Island Found! Taking Claims Now! [MT]" thread. The islands are now up for disputes, fights, and diplomacy. X-948 (Me) and X-949 (Also me) will not take part in ANY disputes (don't even dare attack us or I'll take away your land claim so fast), and will moderate and resolve claims and disputes.

King William walked into the newly constructed building, made of limestone. Leading him was the young Fredrick, who is suspected to become a large politician in the area. "Well, sir, this is our new center in the territory, a capital if you will. We have many plans, including the launching of a new space program." Fredrick said with confidence. "We will certainly benefit from our new territories!" William nodded, adjusting his glasses. "So, do tell, have you come up with a flag for our newly claimed land?" He said. Fredrick replied with a simple "No sir." They continued to walk after this.

[The Allied States of North America]

President John F. Marshall has dispatched the 3rd Carrier group to the area along with a compliment of A.S Marines and Naval Personnel. The Task force has been authorized to secure a beachhead, scout inland and establish a temporary base until the land claim can be fully scouted and made safe for further use.

Jennings and Chace Inc. Have been given the green light to dispatch civilian contractors and scientists to determine if the island is suitable for human habitation and occupation, as well as assess it's natural resources.

"This is the new governor, Mrs. Sophia." Fredrick said. William shook her hand, and they continued on the way. "So, what is the diplomatic status?" William said as they walked outside into the newly constructed town. "None yet, sir." Fredrick observed the towns, some made of wood, some made of brick, but all looked quite nice. They soon arrived at the dock. "This will be our main way for tourism and transportation." Plenty of people were fishing on the dock. William fanned himself, it was much hotter than the capital.

[The Genoese Cromanatum]

JL-Admiral Geyur Janof directed soldiers to and fro, organizing for defenses to be set up around what would soon be the main port. Crews of soldiers began setting up for tactical posts, until the construction crews could gather masonry from the boats and begin building military installations. Tanks rolled past the streets, being placed in large warehouses for now. The citizens were happily going about their work and way.

"We'll have to send for more ships, he island was a little large than we thought. Put a request in to command to see if we can call in another dreadnaught, some battleships, and an aircraft carrier. Tell them to bring tanks, and some deployable coast defenses. I want this area militarized by tomorrow, and those anti aircraft guns set up on the mountainside. Tell command that I'm expecting my request to be fulfilled, and for it to get here within the week. Oh, and get them to bring more hard food supplies, we'll need them." said the Admiral, ordering his chief of staff as he put in a radio call.

September 29, 2012

The President arrived in X-948's portion of La Abunda Insuloj de Plena (The Plentiful Islands of Plenty), Felyzian Kolonia Insuloj (Felyzian Colonial Islands), and stepped out onto the white sand beach. The bright city of Tokodo, situated on a cliff overlooking the beach, gleamed with the light reflecting of its marble towers. "Beautiful," said the President, awed by the magnificence of the isles. "We must alert the rest of the Felyzians back in the homeland. This land would be perfect for colonization, as well as uranium mining and trout fishing." The representative from BRX Uranium Mining approached the President for his signature. The President signed without even looking at the paper he was signing. "Mechanic!" the President yelled. "Get my KURATAS mech ready for deployment. I am going to say hello to our allies in Royal Britannia and X-949! In person, ha ha ha!" The President, still laughing, got into his KR-01 and drove along the coast (at seven miles per hour).

The People's Navy of the CPA has dropped off the research team. The Coast guard has arrived in patrol boats, and an attack helicopter stays near the new headquarters. About an hour later, civilians have arrived to build a hotel for tourists.

Smith Islands



As the Britannic soldiers marched in the military parade that signalled the transfer of command on the newly acquired Smith Islands, both the flag of Royal Britannia and the new flag of the Smith Islands were raised above the Governor Generals quarters in Kingsway, the designated capital of the colony. The settlers who had joined the Albany brigade on their voyage to the islands had begun building accommodation and small shops on the coastline.

Meanwhile, on Outer Smith Island, a small platoon of soldiers hoisted the flag high above the temporary weather station that had been erected on the small, secluded island. Once settlers had finished on building on the mainland, a small group of craftsmen were to be sent to the Outer Island to begin construction on a small port, where Britannic Navy could refuel and patrol at will.

Colonel Hadrial stood on the beach of the island Daragal had just claimed and stared, he had rarely seen such beauty and was glad his government had the foresight to claim this land to create a naval base on. He snapped out of his reverie and started ordering workers and soldiers round.
"Okay I want all workers to get started, we need a docks, airstrip and accommodation first before we start building the actual base, so get started on that. Also i want patrols of 3 men each to start patrolling the claim, nobody gets in or our without us knowing first."
As he watched the men scurry to their positions he felt happy, soon he was to be in charge of Daragal's largest naval base ever.

King William Atherton would sit at his desk very pleased at his new land. As an expansionist, King William had plans to build great cities in this territory. The only threat would be the closer nations beside him. It was time to make friends.

A very well known contractor in Leanore named Frederick Worth walked into King William's royal office. "Your majesty, contractor Frederick Worth is here." The greeter would close the door very quietly and let the King and the contractor speak. The contractor would quickly bow to the King sitting on the sofa. "Hello, your majesty. Must I say it is an absolute honor meeting you, your majesty. I am a royal subject of yours. What do you need in this new territory, my King?" The contractor would say, slightly nervous at the fact he was in the presence of his King.

"I want a city. A large city. I want an airport, I want buildings for business and for residents, and I want you to do it." The King would reply. "Yes, your majesty. I will get the workers on it right away. What is the budget for this, your majesty?" The contractor would ask, writing down notes on a paper on a clipboard. "There is no budget. I want it done. I will wire your company with money. If you need more, just ask. Come back with blueprints, I want to see how this would look." "Yes, your majesty. It was an honor meeting you." The contractor would bow, take three steps back, and leave the room.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the ocean, the 3rd FLF Fleet would be on it's way to the new territory.
