*On the TV screen is a female news anchor taking*
"Three days ago in the morning, a Taronixok cod fisherman ventured out to fish cod, today, just a few hours ago, the fisherman returned. He claimed to have discovered a new land. He was telling everyone, his friends, his family, he even posted it on his blog: "A Digital Diary For A Mundane Fisherman", and his Facebook. This is what he had to say about it:"
*The screen switches to a picture of a man*
"So yah, I went to go fishing, as I do every weekend. I got my boat into the water, I sailed outward, I reeled in some fish, I slept, and then, the next day, my boat was beached! My GPS told me that there should have been water there, but their is no doubt about it, I was on dry land. Then, I simply sailed back and told everyone!"
*The screen returns to the news anchor*
"The Government of Taronix has released a statement that it well investigate the area, but only to calm down the press, and public, and to prove that there is nothing there, else wise, it would have shown up on a satellite."

*On the screen is a female news anchor*
*10 days ago, we put on a story of how a local cod fisherman claims to have discovered an entire new continent. Today, the Taronixok government has released a statement that there is indeed, an entire continent located precisely where the fisherman claimed it would be. Why the continent does not show on satellite images is a question still. A map has been published by topographers of the Taronixok Military, and the gouvernment has decided to claim a chunk of land in the name of Taronix."

The emperor is quite pressed at the moment, however, he has analysed the Verktha map and has decided that he would like to claim the northern tip of the continent, spanning from the two lakes to the northern tip. The Emperor has decided to call the colony Naxia. We thank you for offering the land.

[First Valerian Empire]

The Emperor claimed the mid-Eastern Coast extending from the coast to the large lake in the center, in the Name of the First Holy Valyrian Empire. He has dispatched the the 112nd, 31st,501st Regiments of the Valyrian Expeditionary Corps to the Island along with the 1st Pacific fleet under the Aircraft Carrier Onyx totaling 12 ships and 3 submarines. The VEC is to establish a bridge head and secure the area for colonist and further militarization.

[G3rmania (Ancient)]

The Emperor decree that G3rmania annex the large piece of land to the far right of the continent, between the great lake and ocean. To enforce this the Emperor will be sending the III and IV Imperial Regiments, supported by elements of the II Engineers and hosted by the I Naval Strike Group. We will not accept any less and will not acknowledge any other nation seeking to protest our hold of the territory, for it is in our will to take this land for the Empire.

As Consul Giten Ombors perused the documents that the aide had placedon his desk an idea that had crossed his mind more than once resurfaced again. Hwinn had kept to itself for most of its history, and being an island nation, this was not a difficult task to do. With the opening of the nation to the rest of the world nearly two hundred years, ago Hwinn had prospered. The island was rich in natural resources as were the seas around it. It would not last. He looked over to where the city that law below the hills, where he made his residence and office. Other nations much less fortunate had looked beyond the seas for their sustenance. Dreams of empire had filled his mind since he had first gone to school and read of the histories of nations.

Hwinn would expand beyond the island that the Hwinnish had called their home for thousands of years, he decided. The continent of Verktha was as good as any other for Hwinn to begin its conquest. He quickly drafted an order giving General Alican the right to persue a claim.

Upon knowing of several of the other nations sending troops over to ensure there claims, President Hathte began thinking.
If I send soldiers over... I would assert my control... But if I don't, the land may be stolen, but then again, if I do, the other nations... might... but, I'm the one who offered the land... Yah! Ok then, Ill send sodiers over.
"General, what do you think on sending soldiers over?"
"I don't know, the other countries..."
"...Might think of it as aggression, I know, but what if we send maybe 5000 soldiers? Maybe a few tanks and engineers?"
"That might be a good idea"
"Good, than make it so. As well, open it up to tourists, build a few hotels, maybe get a town up on the coast... Oh! And send people inland to search for resources!"

So we, in representation of our entire nation, we have a space of ground, namely that between the City of Timmy, Hwinn Greather and the German Reich.
But we can accept from a diminishing land grant, provided that it is comparable to the land being transferred to other nations.
