International Islamic Student Movement
The International Islamic Student Movement (IISM) is a global Islamist student militant movement. The International Islamic Student Movement was founded by Afghan-born Mullah Mustapha Zain on April 17, 1990 in Wana, the capital of the Emirate of Kananistan. According to Mullah Mustapha Zain, the goal of the International Islamic Student Movement is to "strengthen the cause of Islam through the rallying of all Islamist political parties under a single banner." Due to the movements connections to various designated terrorist groups, the International Islamic Student Movement has been banned throughout the Islamic world.
