Fishermen discover new landmass (OOC/Open)

The OOC thread for this

This is the map as it stands:

Red - Itanica
Muddy Yellow - Arghast
Yellow - Dioists
Cyan - Elipida
Orange - Poblacht Nua na hEireann

White is unclaimed territory. The first to claim it gets it. Nations may battle to take over territory.

All nations in the USSR will be considered within 3-5 hours of the island using ships. Itanica is 1 hour away using ships. Outside of the USSR will vary between 10-24 hours by ship. Don't always go for the lower end, guys, make it fun!

Agreed. All posts will be dated and timed within IST. One minute IRL = One minute in IST. One hour IRL = One Day in IST. One day = 1 Week, 1 Week = 1 Month and 1 Month = 1 Year. You get the drift.

If you must know, I RP with a population of around 250 million. If you want to play the "I have 5 billion in reserve" game in case something goes remotely wrong, then I don't want any part of it. I might as well be the Imperium of Man, and pull an Exterminatus. Why bother with limitations and a few rules for the sake of making things interesting?

I have 800 million military personnel total, including reserves. I have a population of about 18.2 billion, I thought that was pretty clear.
