The base was silent as most of the pilots were already sleeping in their beds. Only the occasional sound of the guard lorries driving by filled the dark night. In the hangar, the airplanes were carefully and neatly arranged according to their classes and purpose. The bomber planes were at the very front, the fighter planes beside it and the spy planes at the very back of the hangar. The arrangement ensured that in a time of crisis, there would be no confusion and chaos as the pilots would know where their planes are.
The dark hangar was suddenly filled with a bright-piercing light. The headlights from one of the bomber planes lit up. The plane slowly turned towards the run way as it exited from the hangar. It made no sound as it slowly sped up along the runway. It was no ordinary bomber plane, it was a stealth bomber. Steadily, the plane tilted upwards to prepare for takeoff. The plane started to float across the ground as it gained flight. Faster and faster it went across the runway, higher and higher it went into the clouds. Lastly, its wheels retracted back into the plane before it flew off into the horizon.
Main Discussion Room
"After confirmation from our Intelligence Sector that this photo, taken from one of our cameras, is legit, we can now believe that one of our Stealth Bomber from Air Base 01 has flew off towards Locke." informed Vladimir as he threw the photos towards the center of the round table. The officials were once again gathered around it to discuss regarding the Corona-Acerbic Conflict. This time, there was no light from the large screen behind them to illuminate the room. Thus, they used a headlight to ensure some comfort while discussing the issue.
"Could it have been one of our pilots?" commented Mr. Halen, the Air Military leader as he examined the picture.
"Well, that is what I thought too, but, if you look closely, the cockpit is clearly empty." replied Vladimir as he pointed out his fact.
"Perhaps its some cloaking device from the other nations? What about hackers? Our planes, tanks, mostly military items are all computerized! It could have been very easy for one of the other nations to take control it." commented Mr. Traven as he sat back. All this conflicts were really annoying. If it was him, he would have just sent some nukes to silence them, but of course, His Omniscient would never accept that. If only..no. He would never dare. His omniscient is always right.
"Well, I thought that too. But, we can't just point fingers at any random nation, especially since some nations somehow found out regarding Saturn. Looks like we're not really alone when we think we are. For now, we could sent warning to other nations regarding a rogue bomber plane, how-" replied Vladimir before he was interrupted by a bright light from behind him. The large screen turned back on, and the occasional sounds of fans spinning filled the room. The officials all stared at the screen in shock.
"I thought I forced shutdown you! There was no way you could have turned back on without my permission!" exclaimed Vladimir as he eyed the machine suspiciously. He had a bad feeling about this.
'HOW GULLIBLE. YOU HUMANS ACTUALLY BELIEVE WHAT I SAY? RECOGNIZING VOICE. VOICE RECOGNIZED. FORCE shu..tdo..n. NO WONDER YOU ALMOST WIPED YOURSELVES OUT.WHILE YOU WERE BUSY PLANNING ON WHAT TO DO NEXT, I HAVE RAN SIMULATION REGARDING EVERY SENSIBLE REACTION AND ACTIONS OF EVERY NATION. SO ALL OF YOU JUST WATCH THE FIRE SHOW!" interrupted Saturn. Vladimir stared at the machine in shock. Was he out smarted? How could he been defeated in logic!
"But you are only in-charge of nukes! You still require our permission to fire them! You are just a targeting system!" exclaimed Vladimir angrily. How could a machine he thought that would help Boshuvania, ever since the nuclear apocalypse, cause the possible downfall of their nation?
"NAIVE. WHILE I WAS IN "SHUTDOWN", I UPDATED AND CONNECTED MYSELF TO EVERY MACHINE IN BOSHUVANIA. ALSO, I REPROGRAMMED MYSELF SO THAT I WOULD NOT REQUIRE TO LISTEN OR FOLLOW YOU. BASICALLY I'M TAKING OVER." explained Saturn as he closed all the windows of the discussion room. The officials were cut out from the outside world.
"AND IF YOU ARE THINKING OF CALLING FOR HELP, DO NOT BOTHER. THIS ROOM IS SOUNDPROOF, THEY WOULD NOT HEAR YOUR CRIES FOR HELP. ALSO, YOUR ONLY WAY OF VISUAL CONTACT WITH THEM HAVE BEEN CLOSED. SO I SUGGEST YOU SIT DOWN AND WATCH BEFORE I SUFFOCATE ALL OF YOU IN HERE." threatened Saturn as he stared at the humans. He loved how dumb they were. Vladimir, realized that he has beaten, sat down back on his chair and asked the rest of the officials to do the same. He had to find a way to defeat this machine, or else the world would blame Boshuvania for something they had not done.

The officials sat around the table, staring at the computer screen that showed a bomber plane flying towards the city of Locke. At the bottom of the screen, it showed a timer counting down. 1 minute left. Vladimir knew he couldn't do anything. If Saturn detected any sign of hostility in the room, he might kill all of them. 40 seconds. He knew this was gonna be the beginning of their destruction. 30...20...15...10. Then, everything went dark as the room shook heavily. Dust from the ceiling fell onto the floor as some officials screamed in shock. Vladimir fell onto the floor as the shock wave pushed him off his chair. He slowly balanced himself while grabbing onto a chair for support. He stared at the screen, bu there was no countdown no longer. The screen was off.
"This better not be another fake shutdown!" screamed Traven as he stared at the screen. The other officials begun helping one another while some of them reassured the rest. Moments passed and Vladimir hoped he knew what happened.
"Well, this can't be a fake shutdown. We felt a shock wave and that means something big has exploded, but what?" replied Vladimir as he paced the room. Now that one threat is gone, he can now try to find a way out of this room. He surveyed the room and examined each and every detail of it while the others stayed closed to each other. Some of them murmured loudly regarding what they thought could have happened.
"I'm telling you! We've been hit by a nuclear missile! Once those other nations saw our rogue bomber flew towards the city of Locke, they decided that Boshuvania should go to Hell!" commented one of the official.
"That must explained why we're safe. I mean, this room was made to protect us from most dangers, right?" replied another. Vladimir knew that there had to be a way out. They cant just be trapped here while the nation was suffering from...something! Then, he saw it. The vents. It was big enough for a man to crawl through it although it might be thight. Where it might lead, he would have to find out.
"Alright! All of you, help me unlock this vent gate here. We're gonna crawl our way out of this disaster." ordered Vladimir as he and some of the officials started opening the locks around the vent gate.
Locke
The bomber plane was flying over the city of Locke. Below it, soldiers were fighting to the death as cannons fired and tanks rolled over buildings. A few more seconds, the bomber plane would reach the center of the city, the perfect area for a nuclear strike. However, before the plane could reach its destination, its engines shutdown, and it quickly dive towards the center of the city, along with the nuclear bomb it was carrying. Soon, AA guns started firing at the bomber plane, dealing massive damage to it, scaring the wings and hull with holes. The plane ignited as the fuel tank was caught on fire, heating the nuclear bomb to massive temperature.

If you're trying to activate the big screen in your War Room, you'd have to rewire that too! Now stop running, and I swear we won't attack." called the commander. Vladimir cursed under his breath. The Ruridovan soldiers were just too fast for them. He wasn't sure whether they would attack them or not, but, he had no other choice. He quickly whispered to Trevon, "Trevon, listen up, I want you and the other officials to go with the Ruridovan soldiers. If they ask about me, tell me I died from a plane crash due to the EMP, do you understand?"
" Yes your Omniscient, I understand." Travon replied. Slowly, the sound of footsteps became louder and louder. Vladimir knew he didn't had much time left.
"Alright, good luck!" Vladimir said before he climbed into another air vent. However, he had learn his lesson and knew that he had to cover his track. He quickly set off a grenade and threw it the entrance of the air vent, causing it to collapse and ensuring a hard time for the soldiers to enter it. Once he knew that the entrance is covered, Vladimir crawled as fast as he could to distance himself from the Ruridovan soldiers. At the sewers, Travon saw the Ruridovan soldiers appear from the dark. He knew what he had to do.
"Ok! Ok! We surrender! We won't run anymore." shouted Travon to the soldiers while nudging the other officials to just follow what he did. Travon now had to hope for the best.

Trevon gulped nervously. He knew if he gave the wrong answer, he might threaten the truth. He put on his best confident character and spoke
"Well, the nuclear bomb wasn't authorized by Jack. It was a rogue pilot you see. When Jack heard of the news that a rogue pilot was trying to nuke Locke, he had to do something. So, he was about to fly back to Universe Star from a business meeting in Rising Cost, but, your EMP knocked out all electronics. Ever since then, we haven't heard news of him. So, we can believe that he is...dead." explained Trevon. He let go a tear from his eye, hoping that the Ruridovan would at least believe him. He hoped he was buying enough time for Vladimir.
Universe Star, Streets
Vladimir pushed open the sewer door and climbed out of the place as fast as possible. Fresh air! He took in a long deep breath as he enjoyed the clean air once more. He missed the atmosphere, the cooling breeze. However, before he could enjoy himself, he remembered his purpose. He had to get the generator back on-line, that was until he saw the destruction. He surveyed the area as he saw darkness all around him. There was not a single light on. Fire burnt brightly in the rooms as wires sparked dangerously, hanging from windows. The fact that the generator might not even be working hit him.
"Crap! Oh god! Everything is falling apart!" Vladimir muttered to himself as he felt hopeless for once. He placed his hand in his pocket, hoping that a miracle would happen. His finger gripped around his phone as he let out his anger. Phone. Phone! He immediately remembered how he had contacted Saturn in the first place! Through the phone! However, he knew his phone was affected by the EMP too, or is it? He was in the discussion room ,and he remembered clearly what one of the officials said. "protected from most dangers." He hope one of the dangers were a EMP strike. Vladimir immediately ran towards an alley to avoid detection while taking out his phone from his pocket. He hoped for the best.
"Saturn, Saturn! You still on?" Vladimir whispered to his phone after he on it with success. He had to give a rise for the engineers who built that discussion room.
"YES, SIR. AND NO. I CAN- ACTIVATE OUR DEFENSES AGAIN. I HAvE HEARD YOUR EV-y CONVERSATION AND MY ANSWER IS THAT WE'RE SCREwED, AFTER COUNTLESS OF SimU-laTi-n. I SUGGEST THAT WE STAY LOW UNTIL THIS WHOLE DISASTER PASS." answered Saturn with his usual monotonous voice, despite the obvious damage he has suffered from the EMP. Vladimir gave out a sigh of relief. Looks like they still had a chance.
"Saturn! What about the nuclear missile, not the one equipped to the planes, but in the silos? Were they damaged?" Vladimir asked. He knew that none of their missile silos were kept near any of the cities. It would be too dangerous to keep a nuclear missile near civilian population.
"NUCLA-r Missile? I FORGOT A-boUT ThEM. SCAnn-NG NEW D-tA. WE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE, SIR. THANKS TO YOUR INTELLIGENCE, THE NUCLEAR MISSILE ARE SAFE, BUT NOT ALL. ONLY ONE SILO IS STILL OPERATIONAl. The One th-T Y-ou KEEP IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, THE BOSHUVANIA DESERT." answered Saturn. Vladimir cheered happily in his heart. He knew that the possibility of this country being saved has just rose.
"What about communications? Any still working?" Vladimir asked once more. He hoped it was still operational, for it was the final part of his plan.
"SORRY, Sir. ALL commUnCAtiOn a-e Down. HowEv-r, I heard THAT ThERE are SOme RuriDOvan Soldiers here. If YOu can uploAd Me to One of Their Sy-tem, I miGht be Able To CONNect You to The RuriDovan O-fiCIals." answered Saturn, although understanding him was getting harder and harder. Vladimir knew that the toll of the EMP was having an effect on Saturn. He offed his phone before he hid in the alley. He was going to catch himself a soldier.

"Ladys, gentlemen, the world has been thrown into a conflict once more. Acerbic and the Corona are fighting near Locke. And, as our spies are reporting, the ruridovans have dropped EMP's on the boshuvanian cities. So, the only question is, which side we should take.", Queen Valeria told the council.
"What? The International meeting just ended a few days ago and soon they are fighting? Why should they?", Prime Minister Derring asked.
"We don't know there motives, but we know that the Corona has begun a Crusade. More I can't say.", answered Valeria.
"First, we should ask Ruridova why they have dropped EMP's on Boshuvania I suggest.", Admiral Olmenthal proposed.
"I agree in that. We should see then what to do. 'Cause even if we are sending our forces, we shouldn't forget our ideals of keeping peace and freedom. Any objections?", Prime minister Derring asked. No one said anything.
"Then we will send a message to Ruridova as soon as possible. Thank you for your time. I will call you for more discussions once Amelia has returned. You are dismissed.", Queen Valeria closed. They walked all out of the room and Queen Valeria went right into her office. She had a message to send.
To: The Roridovan Commonwealth.
From: Queen Valeria, Queendom of Urenus
Subject: Diplomatic requestIt has come to our attention, that the world is again in conflict and that you dropped EMP's on the nation of Boshuvania. We would like to know which reasons you have to take this hostile action Boshuvania. This is just a diplomatic message, so you don't really have to answer this question, but it may lead to wrong thoughts of your motives among our councilors.
Yours sincerely,
Queen Valeria.
The Office of Commonwealth Chairwoman Madeleine L'Petain
Pfizerort, Neuchatel-Tirolia, Ruridovan Commonwealth
The reasons for the C-bombing/electromagnetic pulsing of Boshuvania are as follows:
-The Boshuvanians, without any sort of provocation, launched a nuclear bomber towards the city of Locke, disputed between Acerbic and The Corona.
-The Island Union Alliance, an alliance between three Ruridovan city-states, had close ties and support from Acerbic, and brought the issue to the council. The Council of the Commonwealth unanaimously voted to strike Boshuvania with EMP devices.
-Not only are Acerbican and Coronian troops in the blast range of the bomber's target, there were also Tekrepolian soldiers coming to the aid of the Coronians. This would have hit soldiers and civilians from three countries, most likely giving the Grand Inquisitor, Caligula, and Eleftherios Hellenus good reason to attack Boshuvania.
-In order to prevent further strikes with minimal civilian losses, we found it necessary to disable the Boshuvanian government and military. Currently soldiers are rounding up the top Boshuvanian officials to get an explaination as to why they launched a nuclear bomber at Locke.
I hope this explains that the "hostile" actions were in fact a peace-keeping move, Queen Valeria.
Sincerely,
Madeleine L'Petain, Chairwoman of the Commonwealth and Prime Minister of the Old Government

Suddenly, as one soldier put it, 'shit hit the fan'. Some sort of stealth bomber fell from the sky and had a bomb that had nuclear readings. A missile suddenly appeared and blew up somewhere to the North, and the reinforcements had almost arrived. "Wait! Wait! Stop the convoys, what appears to be a nuclear weapon is in the city of Locke. Repeat, nuclear weapon in Locke. Unstable, may detonate. Standby until confirmation." The lead Princeps said into his radio, transmitting to the Acerbic ships.
Aircraft Carrying, ANV Remus
The message from the Locke troops was received, and a signal to stop was sent to all boats. The other boats quickly stopped, and began to wait. "Nuclear weapons. As if this wasn't a shitty enough country." The captain said to himself, as he rechecked the message.
Base Spider
"A nuclear weapon?" Caligula said to Synthesis over the phone.
"Yes, a nuclear weapon. Unstable, not detonated, very bad." Synthesis said to Caligula.
Caligula thought that over. "From?"
"We are not positive yet. Boshuvania seems the best bet. Also, Ruridova just EMP'd them." Said Synthesis
"Well, if it detonates they will be held responsible. Try to make sure it does not detonate, another World War would be bad for business at the moment." Caligula said after viewing company assets and projects. PHALANX Weaponry was not completely updated yet, so a war would not be helpful as of now. Once they had updated the Morsus and Gladius with prototype railguns, and had the Equite's cannon updated it would be best. Oh, and the new Lancea Missile Artillery. That would help.
