The Ter'rol Pielch series has inspired terror upon the battlefields where it has been deployed. A Rhydinian deep sea mining platform at one point and time, but repurposed to become a mechanized weapons platform.

It is geared for urban close quarters combat and psychological warfare. With a particularly terrifying visage coming standard, the mechanized unit has earned its fearsome reputation as a slaughterer of soldiers.

The “Ter'rol Pielchr” is one of the six legged designs developed by HQLT for the Hegemony's military forces following the war of aggression with Xukuthite forces. Each leg is articulated in a similar manner to a spider leg and stretch out to the sides. The multiple legs allow for excellent stability as well as the fact that the design can loose up to two legs on a single side before collapsing. On six legs, the “Ter'rol Pielch” can reach a top speed of about forty-five kilometers per hour and can handle incredibly rough terrain.

The “Ter'rol Pielch” is relatively small with only a single position cockpit in the front of the vehicle. The cockpit is a bit cramped compared to the cockpit of other vehicles although not uncomfortable. The sensor suite is a combination of digital and optoelectronics devices, and a digital fire-control system. The system consists of a thermal camera, a daylight camera, laser rangefinder and a version of the hyper-sonar that Hegemony submarines come equipped with, that can detect lifeforms and or thermal output of vehicle engines up to two kilometers around the unit.

The unit is meant to be in more of an anti-personnel role than in the direct combat role against vehicles or emplacements. Missions might include the support of troops or power armor. As a result, the Ter'rol Pielch is fairly lightly armored compared to some other designs.

It should not be said that the design is weakly built but does not have the heavy armor of some of other designs. Also, unlike some other designs, the Ter'rol Pielch does not commonly come equipped with the Kinetic Field generator which is most often mounted on the heavier designs.

Statistical Data:
Model Type: HQLT Ter'rol Pielch Mk IV
Class: All Terrain Robotic Weapon Platform
Crew: Two, One Pilot, One Gunner
Cargo: Small area for the pilot’s personal items, as well as a weapon bin that has room for one rifle, one pistol, canteen and food rations (4 week supply). A two gallon water cooler is built into the unit as well.

Dimensions
Height: 3.90 meters (12.8 feet) with an additional 5 feet (1.52 meters) with weapon system mounted
Width: 4.07 meters (13.353 feet) for main body with legs extending out for 12.5 feet (3.81 meters) on either side
Length: 5.90 meters (19.357 feet)
Weight: 6.62 metric tons (7.3 tons) without attached weapon systems. Weapon systems add three to six tons to the weight of the vehicle.

Performance
Power System: Fusion; average life is 20 years.
Running: 45 kph (27.9 mph ) maximum.
Leaping: Powerful legs allow robot to leap 6.1 m (20 feet) up and 9.1 m (30 feet) across from a standing position.
Underwater: It can walk along the bottom of the sea floor at 25% of maximum speed and has a maximum Ocean depth of 1.6 km (1 mile).
Maximum Effective Range: Limited only by the pilot’s endurance. Emergency food and air supply will keep the pilot and gunner alive for four weeks.

Weapon Systems
1. HPWS-1/C Subduction Beam Cannon (1): This weapon is the standard ranged weapon. It is designed as a short range anti-armor and infantry weapon. The cannon can be aimed up or down 80 degrees. The weapon termed subduction beam cannon, is based on research into neutron beam technology, of which the weapon is a type of directed-energy. This weapon uses a high-energy beam of atomic or subatomic particles to damage the target by disrupting its atomic and/or molecular structure with an added concussive impact with a blast equivalency of 13 percent of a Hiroshima atomic warhead per 'round' delivered towards a target.

It is mounted on the dorsal spine and the unit must move in order to change direction of rounds being fired.

Overall Weight: 2.7 metric tons (3 tons), but comes with its own energy supply.
Maximum Effective Range: 3.048 km (1.8 mile)
Rate of Fire: 8 rpm
Payload: The powerpack allows for forty 'rounds' to be fired before the power pack needs to be replaced or recharged.

2. Chemrail Anti-Aircraft Flak Gun (1): This weapon system is composed of two cannons that are mounted on either side of the main remote weapon station on the dorsal spine. These rapid-fire cannon shoot (Fin Stabilized, Discarding Rail Accelerator Sabot) rounds which are used against aircraft, light armor, and infantry positions or infantry. It is the most popular weapon with crews due to the ability to inflict damage and long range of the cannon. The flak cannon can be aimed up or down 80 degrees.

Overall Weight: 4.1 metric tons (4.5 tons), but comes with its own energy supply.
Maximum Effective Range: .9 km (.56 miles)
Rate of Fire: 2,875 rpm
Ammunition type: 21.75x52mm
Muzzle Energy per barrel: 28.4 kilo joules.
Payload: Total 2,000 rounds per cannon.
