A Status Indicator Lights: Glow to indicate FFUs are operational; flash when FFUs are off
B Select HEPA or ULPA fan/filter units to provide a laminar flow of clean air
C Fluorescent lights (teardrop fixtures available for mounting between fan/filter units)
D Control panel includes temperature/humidity gauge and other selected instruments
E Several door designs: stainless steel, aluminum swing or sliding, electronic
F Select acrylic, static-dissipative, or polycarbonate panels
G Steel support beams require no external bracing
Options include pass-throughs, A/C, vacuum, DI water and gas utilities

VCI's Hardwall Modular T-Series Cleanrooms provide the rigidity and durability of a freestanding room. All components are factory-assembled and tested before shipping, and on-site installation is usually completed in less than a day. Unlike other modular cleanrooms on the market which require complex suspended ceiling supports, VCI's T-Series cleanrooms are completely free-standing structures.

Cleanroom Support Frame
The support frame is fabricated of interlocking 1.75" (44 mm) powder-coated square steel uprights and cross sections. Ceiling members are welded to steel 3" x 1.5" (76 mm x 38 mm) T-bars, forming the 2' x 4' (610 mm x 1219 mm) bays that support filters and lights. Vertical finishing strips, fabricated of mirror-finished 304 stainless steel, hold hardwall panels securely in place. Standard height is 7' (2134 mm) measured from filter face to floor (8'3", 2530 mm, with filter/fan unit), allowing installation beneath a standard 9' (2743 mm) ceiling.

Hardwall Cleanroom Panels
Modular hardwall panels are cut in 4'-wide x 7'-high (1219 mm x 2134 mm) panels. Specify other desired height. They are available in three rigid materials:

* Acrylic Panels offer full visibility and outstanding tensile strength. These economical panels are lightweight and easy to clean. Standard panels are clear, but black and amber panels are also available (tinted panels may extend lead time). Acrylic is not recommended for use with alcohol or other strong cleaning agents.

* Static-Dissipative PVC Panels are recommended for the most contamination-sensitive applications because of their ability to control particles along with static charges. The friction created by a laminar airflow generates surface charges on nondissipative walls, which in turn attract and hold particles. Your cleanroom wall becomes a particle magnet!

* Dissipative PVC safely conducts these surface charges to ground, protecting against potentially damaging ESD (electrostatic discharge) as well as particulate contamination. Dissipative layers are molecularly embedded for optimal durability. Surface resistivity: 106 - 108 ohms/sq. cm.

* Polycarbonate resists many common acids, solvents and cleaning solutions. Its high tensile strength makes it shatter resistant.

* Polypropylene provides superb resistence to acids and other chemicals.

* VCI Air Release Vent Series ISO-B3
Each of the standard plastic panels features a series of exhaust vents, covered by a flexible static-dissipative PVC strip to prevent particulate influx. These IsoVents ensure adequate positive pressure inside the enclosure, independent of filter configuration.

Stainless Steel Swing Doors
Select 304 or 316 stainless steel frames for optimal cleanliness, durability, and chemical resistance. Transparent door panels are available in tempered glass, which is ideal for aseptic operations requiring wipe-down with alcohol and other disinfectants, as well as static-dissipative PVC, which eliminates static-charge build-up. Standard swing is outward (away from clean room). Dimensions: 36"/72"W x 81"H (914 mm/1829 mm x 2057 mm).

Door also holds key component being the Control Panel with Operation Status System mounted to the right of the access door, this panel allows convenient control of filter/fan units, lights, ionizing modules, and other environmental monitoring equipment selected for your hardwall modular cleanroom. Fabricated of mirror-finish 304/316 stainless steel or powder-coated steel to match cleanroom design. This system includes top corner indication lights that display cleanroom operation status: lights glow when FFUs (fan/filter units) are in operation, and flash intermittently to indicate they are off. For Hardwall and BioSafe designs only, it includes a Differential Pressure Gauge (.25-0-0.25"WC).
