Article 1: Founding of the Papal Vatican States

On this day, the Temporal States of the Most Holy and Apostolic See of Roma and Vatican Hill, better known as the Papal Vatican States, was founded. The Fundamental Code of Superior Canons was sign and promulgated by the late Pope Gregory XIX on his deathbed. Currently the state and Church are in an era of Sede Vacante as the cardinals gather for conclave.

Article 2: Acceptance into the World Assembly

Following a directive from the late Pope Gregory XIX, the Cardinal Camerlengo instructed the Cardinal Archnuncio to dispatch an Apostolic Nuncio to the World Assembly HQ to request entry as a full member of the said organization. After brief scrutiny, the request was accepted. The first action the Nuncio has taken is to vote his support for the current resolution to condemn the nation "Black Hawks."

Article 3: An Invitation for World Leaders

The Cardinal Archnuncio, on behalf of the Cardinal Camerlengo, does now extend an invitation to all friendly nations to attend the events surrounding the election of the new Pope at conclave and his subsequent coronation. LINK

Article 1: Papal Vatican States Opens up Embassy Program

Today, the Cardinal Camerlengo announced that he would carry out any order given in the founding muto proprio of the Papal Vatican States and allow for embassies to be traded with the Papal Vatican States. To Our Venerable Brethren, the Bishops, Archbishops, Metropolitans, Prelates, Abbots, Cardinals, and all Faithful of the United Kingdom of Globexanter:

It is with great sorrow that I have received the religious riots in the city of Carcassonne. As Christians, we cannot condone any violence and we call upon those rioting to cease any attacks they may make on police, politicians, and other citizens and civil servants in Globexanter. However, this being said, we do call upon the government of Globexanter to cease their ban on public displays of religion. We stand by our Muslim and Buddhist brethren in their plea for an end to your oppression and we encourage all faithful of Globexantar to begin and sustain peaceful protest against their government.

On account of those arrested, who are expected to receive the death penalty, we demand the Globexanter officials to release these men and women or, at the very least, spare them death. We do declare that your actions are grossly contrary to these people's human rights and that you are obstructing true justice by planning to execute these protesters.

Furthermore, if you do refuse to comply with our genrous suggestion and demands, we do feel that we may be forced to level the censure of interdict upon your nation, thus limiting your spiritual goods and endangering the souls of your people. In addition, we may consider the excommunication of your leaders to be necessary if you go through with your executions.

Brethren,

The Papacy would like to express its opinion on this proposed resolution. After several hours of discussion with the Archnuncio and other senior prelates on Vatican Hill, we have decided AGAINST this resolution. We feel that the regulation of the arms trade is absolutely mandatory in the interests of world peace. By loosening up on such matters, we believe that you are only encouraging war and armed conflict to occur. We agree with our colleagues from the Community of KCspot in the regulation and restriction of arms encourages dialogue towards peaceful solutions.

We encourage all nations who wish to work towards world peace to join us in voting against this resolution. In addition we call upon all Catholic nations, indeed all Christian nations, to fulfill their Christian duty by voting against this resolution.
