Khaoes was his name. He was darkness and evil reincarnated. He was the mastermind behind that dreadful day in 2207 when he blew up the Worlds tallest Skyscraper to get everyone distracted from him stealing all the gold in the banks. His minions of course stole the gold. Khaoes was not their to see it happen, for he was in a secret place no one could see or find. Their he stayed dormant, while his minions went to work stealing and waiting till the day their master and leader would rise again.

Why does he lay in darkness? Because he was put their from the heroes of old. The ones your mother probably told you before you went to bed when you were little. They have a statue in the central park that was dedicated to them for helping clean the city up and putting Khaoes where he belonged. In darkness. Now they are old and their powers have slowly faded away. Now either their children or others will be chosen if Khaoes should ever return.

15 years passed by as Khaoes stayed hidden and got more followers. But that was not the only one. Their was another organization that was recruiting supers, people with certain powers no one else had. They needed them to stop Khaoes and his followers. He got them from around the world and in the city. How he finds them is a mystery to everyone.

He was litarly chaos personified. Well the day came when he came back. It was time to make choices the world goverments were fighting and half were with chaos half weren’t. It looked like all was lost when they remembered the old school that had the suppers of old and they traveled to it asking for help and the school agreed but they would not use the students or the teachers. But then they asked these questions: How is he doing all this if he is still asleep? They feared the worst that he had awoken but no it was his second in command that was the master mind. They thought it was horrible that Khaoes had brain washed a child but yet he was still lying dormant in a deep sleep his second in command trying to revive him.

Then one day it happened but the old heroes were weak and now we ask the question: Why does he lay in darkness? Because he was put there from the heroes of old. Then one day he did awaken and that brings us to present time and the child Khaoes had brain washed was defeated but there was another that was set to be released at the same time as Khaoes named Josiah. This brings us to today 2222

In this world of 2222 Khaoes is back now and racking havoc on anything he finds. Supers were not found yet and the citizens are rioting and thinking about joining Khaoes. This must not happen. The Agents from the government have files on all the people with powers and where they are and what they are doing. Will you help super humans and the world or will you bring them to their knees? What are you going to be; what are you going to do; the choice is yours. Will you make humanity rise or fall? Make them worship you? Are you going to join a side or are you going to stay in between or be ready to jump in at any moment on either side?

OOC: As of now the RP takes place in The Empowered City, an academy/city for superhumans[/b]

Mark sighed as he flew above the city, he had just gotten out of school and decided to fly around some. He wore normal clothes, jeans and a simple black T-shirt with black converses. He looked down at the city, people, animals, and cars dwarfed by the massive sky-high skyscrapers that were around the city. As he flew by Serus towers he noticed something off about the tallest skyscraper in the city, that was now the biggest in the world, it even dwarfed the one Khaoes blew up all those years ago. His eyes went wide as he was blown back by a massive explosion, he began falling shortly afterwards, luckily he was able to make himself hover over the ground. Debree was everywhere, his ears rang as the blurryness in his eyes went away, replaced by a burning building.

The teen let out a small growl as he zoomed up to the building, looking for the person responsible. He saw someone hovering over the building, arms raised, she was covered in black flames, she wore a black cloak, black high-heels, and a black blouse under her cloak, her hood was up. Black flames swirrled around her, the debree seemed to be pulled towards her, it hovered around her. She was beautiful, something radiated off of her, it seemed to be power. Black crystals began to cover the building below her. He stared at her for a moment, confused, until she turned around and sighed. She pushed her hand forward and a blast of black energy flew towards him, his eyes went wide as he dove to the side, the air seemed to go cold where that burst of energy went through. "Shit."He said simply as he hovered there staring the cloaked woman...well, he was just staring at the entrance to the cloak, everything was black in there.

Atlas walked the streets of Empowered City, wearing a white shirt and a long blue coat with shimmering black lines. There was a strong wind, but his clothes were not effected by it, as they were of course holograms. A piece of paper fluttered in the wind and passed through him, catching slightly on his skeletal robotic form, but easily passing through the hologram. Atlas could sense the electronics in the buildings around him, he could read every line of code, hear every phone conversation, see every picture, sense the low battery in one man's flashlight.

Why was Atlas here? He was a scout for his invading army. He wanted to know where the power was, what the design of the city was, how the citizens of the city were treated, anything to give him an advantage when his city finally re-emerged from obscurity and silence and declared war. This was the home of most of the supers, so it would be both the hardest and most advantageous place to capture. He wanted to get every detail right, he wanted to be able to micromanage every skirmish to make the chance of him winning as high as possible. His philosophy was that nobody knew what was right, only he did. He was the leader of a team of superheroes, he knew what was right. Atlas looked up at the tallest tower of the city, planning where he would place the seat of the city's new government once he took over. Suddenly, it exploded, black crystals forming around the building. Oh dear He thought to himself, if anyone could read his thoughts they would describe them as "unsettlingly serene.", That may be a problem. Supervillains are not a part of my design. I shall have to remove the invading organism if the system is to function properly.

Atlas used his electricity like a grappling hook, he stole electrons from the roof of the building in front of him, transferring them to him. He built up a negative charge around him, and the roof of the building built up a positive one as he stole electrons. It took a second, but their charges became very powerful, and Atlas was pulled towards the roof of the building, where he skidded and used a bolt of energy to return the electrons and balance the charges. He saw the skyscraper a fair distance away, and used his electron "grapple" to swing across the city. This is good he thought, still unsettlingly serene. It reminds me of when I fought crime instead of deterring it. I was so naïve... He reached the tower, swinging to the top of it where he saw a woman wreathed in black flames. He would consider her beautiful, though matters such as physical attraction no longer mattered to him. Another Superhuman was hovering in mid air, seemingly mesmerized. Atlas gave him no thought, though he calculated the situations in which the mesmerized Superhuman could cause him harm. His goal was removing the woman from the city. Atlas unleashed a blast of electricity at her, a lightning bolt that created a massive sound, and then used his electron grapple technique to pick up several objects from on the roof before he concentrated the attraction on her. Pieces of the roof ripped off the building and started flying at the woman as Atlas sent lightning bolt after lightning bolt after her. It was the power to control electricity taken to its absolute purest form, and it would be deadly to any mere mortal.

Nyx sighed as she teleported in a burst of black energy that seemed to be coated in stars, though before that happened the lightning bolts seemed to stall in the air. Her concentration on controlling Mark had utterly failed so she simply rose her hand and drained the teen of all of his energy, he let out a scream as he was drained, she left a small amount of life force as he fell to the ground, covered in a protective bubble. She looked to Atlas a smile crossing her cloaked face as she removed the hood looking at him. "Hello,"she spoke, voice serene, perfect,"I am Nyx."She stated simply. The girl appeared to be 16 but radiated an ancient power, that you didn't need to have any kind of energy/power sensing ability to feel, it was just there, invincible, immortal, older than the air around her. She smirked, her white lip stick was perfect, it didn't even seem to be there, it seemed natural. She looked to her right, where she teleported from, and held her hand out to the lightning bolts that hovered in the air, she absorbed them. As she absorbed the lightning bolts glowing darkness mixed with bright white light burst from her eyes, like each of them was a star. Her smirk disappeared and was replaced by a blank emotionless expression as she looked at him as her fingers crackled with black electricity, she rose her right arm and held it out right, palm pointed straight up, left arm down by her side(it seemed ready to be used). A massive continous blast of the energy flew at Atlas, her head was tilted back, the extremely powerful superhuman spoke, as if Atlas would hear her. "Soon my pawns will rise, including the Council of Chaos...and of course my brother, Khaoes."She grinned with perfect white teeth.

Colt smirked from the shadows of a building about a half a mile away, his rifle just far enough out the window to maneuver it. This is what he liked about villains, they just stood there and monologued well you took the shoot. They said this would hard, this is one easiest shots he's ever taken!
He smirked again and pulled the trigger.

She sighed as she looked at the man in front of her, still focused on him, the incoming bullet hit her. She let out a yelp, bursting into ravens, which in turn turned into darkness and disappeared. She had cloned herself using darkness, and as usual -someone- just had to sneak up on her. Nyx winced as she sat in her throne from a far distance, the information that her clone had died just reached her mind. She inhaled heavily, the rose scented air around her overwhelming her senses, but making the air warm, relaxing, and wonderfully fragrant. She leaned back in her chair, thinking of what her next move should be as she sat in a eerily empty obsidian black room.

The crystals on the building shattered like glass, falling to the earth below, the fires disappeared, and all of her powers' effects were gone with it. She glared angrily at the wall in front of her as she thought over all that had gone wrong,"So close,"she muttered, inhaling and exhaling heavily as her eyes fluttered shut.(No one knows where she is, so no going there)

It had been a few days since he had woken up in the city and Cerberus was itching for a fight. The first days had been spent recuperating from what seemed to be gunshot wounds and digging the latest tracking device out of his innards. Business as usual.

What had been unusual though had been the inhabitants of the city, like the little schoolgirl that had violently decapitated one of his tails and beaten him up with his own lower jaw. From the absence of armed guards he deducted that this was at least not a prison for supervillains as he had feared. He had spent the last night raiding a burger joint and was looking for a rematch when he heard the tower explode.A few jumps later he was on a nearby roof, mingling with the gargoyles and looking for a weak spot in the dark arsonist's defense.
His vision colored red as he summoned one of his spirits to see through the smoke and readied to pounce.

The bullet stole his kill by a fraction of a second. He was already in the air, almost at the speed of a bullet himself, and was only truly noticed by the others when he crashed into the remains of the tower behind the dispersing arsonist. His spirits left him, including the hunter spirit which seemed to chase his prey through the shadows.

After walking weeks on foot, Meta finally found a city. He walked a little further and found a sign reading "The Empowered City". Meta never heard of this city before.

Meta started talking to himself, "Is this where I should go? How could I ever know? hahahahaha. Maybe, just maybe, I might just pop in for a spell. I sure hate it out here, might as well go in there."

Meta began to get closer and closer to the city, a city which was changing rapidly in his mind. Meta found a sewer opening and made his way through. The sewer was dark, but Meta didn't care, he began to talk "They who did this to me, will pay, they will pay, pay, pay. But I'll stay here, stay away, stay hidden, and lie here, up against the nice cool bricks.... They will pay!!!"

Meta lied down, waiting, and thinking...

"GODDAM DOG!!!" Colt shouted, that thing was gonna pay. Not only did it alert satin's wife over there and give her time to do.... what ever that was. Whatever it was, it was guttn' for some punishment. He picked up the shell casing, slung the sniper over his shoulder, grabbed his assault-rifle, and jumped out the window and sled down a drain pipe. That dog was gonna pay.

"Laarrr!" shouted Nero as he busted through a van parked near a laboratory. He had just self injected chemical XIV into himself and was in a full on reptilian form. His scaled tail slashed at the tire as he landed on the other side of it. The van held a battery that could power a little "project" he hoped to begin soon in one of the older laboratories in order to go unnoticed. His hands that now had giant claws for nails reached inside the van delicately to grab the glowing yellow battery. Perfect, he thought to himself his eyed zeroed in on a small little man inside the van who apparently was sleeping there but was now terrified. Nero got close to him and scratched part of his clothing just to scare him (as if he wasn't shaken enough as is.) The man had to be a simple delivery worker about leave the city, but what better welcome than Nero?

Nero grabbed the van by its' side and began to lift it in order to toss it across the street.

Someones got to make some thing happen in this place, and if the goody two shoes of the place wouldn't stir anything up, someone had to. Neros' vision began to impair from the drugs having been in his system for so long and in large amounts. He lost sense of smell and color, but he'd be fine for a while more no doubt. He saw the small man begin to lift his hands to his head, this was no delivery man he had to be super human. Nero grabbed the man and flung him to the adjacent wall. Approaching him, Nero crawled towards him. "I hope I didn't interrupt your slumber" he laughed at the man who was now slightly shaking every now and then.

Meta awoke, his mind in a haze. Meta traveled down the sewer a while upon reaching a storm grate. He felt the sun's rays hit his skin, and peered up to see what was going on. Peering through the small slit the grate was offering, he saw what looked like a giant reptile. The giant reptile was cornering a man, not necessarily harming him, but scaring him no doubt. Meta burst through the sewer grate with great velocity. Meta spoke "So who is this? Who might this be? This might want to tell me? hehehehe"

Meta paused for a response....

Cerberus' secondary heads were the first to recover. They coordinated his body to dig himself out of the rubble while his primary head drifted back to consciousness. He looked around but only found the super who earlier had attacked with lightning. Strange, this one had no smell, aside from a tinge of ozone, heated metal and plastic. Maybe he had power over air and used it mask his scent.
"Have you seen where she went?" he asked the floating figure.
