The Founding of Muffinvania

In the year 1205 C.E. an order of wandering unlanded knights (both human and pony) known as The Order of the Glorious Song found a village of ponies and humans who welcomed them with open hearts, the knights were said to have been so touched by this hospitality and warmth that they swore to the village elders to settle nearby and to protect the village. It was not long before the Knights conclave soon became part of the village and this partner ship was tested by incursions from neighbouring lords and bands of raiders. The Knights kept to their word and defended the village and in thanks the village elders swore their fealty to the knights. The High Marshall of the Order of the Glorious Song was elected by the council of Knights to become the Duke of the land his name was Duke HeartFelt and he named the new nation after the first food offered to knights by the kind villages to honour their compassion, the nation was named Muffinvania.

Commandments of Muffinism

1.:Thou shall not bring or support suffering upon life

2.:Thou shall honour the Celestial Sisters the bringers of Day and Night

3.:Thou shall honour the prophet the bringer of Truth and Joy

4.:Thou shall honour friendships, for they are more precious than gold

5.:Thou shall not force your religion upon those of different belief for what is beyond is to be discovered by ones self

6.:Thou shall have fun and enjoy your life and work to it's fullest!

The Muffin Prayer

Our Muffin who art in oven,
tasty shall you be,
thy blueberries sweet and delicious,
deliver this day our daily snack,
for we are hungry,
and could go for some chocolate,
maybe raisin,
for thine is the glory,
in baked goodness forever,
ah, Muffin.
