Honourable representatives, international leaders, and plenipotentiaries of the international community, I am Melissa Venn, and it is in my duty by law to represent the United Imperial Duchies. I would like to thank you on behalf of the Ministry of Diplomacy, for expressing your desire to begin diplomatic relations with the Duchies. We have issued this statement in order to invite your honourable nations to forge embassies between our nations.

As the appointed Minister of Diplomacy of Her Imperial Majesties Government, this letter's purpose to announce the official establishment and amalgamation of Her Imperial Majesty's Embassy Programme, directed by the Ministry of Diplomacy of Her Imperial Majesty's Government.

Danatha, officially the United Imperial Duchies, is a member state of the The Commonwealth of Crowns , with over 2.9 billion citizens. Danatha was founded in 1421 as a union of small, feudal lands. A united government was created by Grand Duke Matthew I of the House of Trabon. Danatha's economy, as ranked by the World Assembly, is Powerhouse, with a 2012 score of 96. The House of Trabon reigned for a 403 years during the period known as The Grand Duchy Age. The Trabons' reign ended after the scandalous abdication of Grand Duke Carter IV. The House of Rikon arose and reformed the government. The first monarch was Grand Duke Carus Rikon, and turned the government around. Many monarchs, some great and some terrible, reigned for the next 300 years. In 1982, Grand Duke Baro Rikon ruled during what is known The Grand Duchy Years. He led Danatha into a successful region and out of economic troubles. However, the Parliament of Danatha, (which was created by the Grand Duke) passed a governmental reform bill, and reformed the entire system into an Archduchy with more monarchical power. The Grand Duke disagreed, and abdicated leaving his throne to his son, Terence Rikon. Terence assumed the title of Archduke and has had the highest approval and satisfaction of all monarchs in Danatha. Tragically in 2012, Archduke Terence and Archduchess Emily passed away in a tragic plane accident. Their daughter, Annalise Rikon, assumed the throne with her husband, Crown Prince Phillipe of Wyethalania.

It is with this letter that the Ministry of Diplomacy, as approved by the Parliament of Danatha and appropriate orders by the Prime Minister and Her Imperial Majesty, that Her Majesty's Embassy Programme is hereby established.

Rules, regulations and requirements

i. Embassies are required to be established in the name of peace, security, friendship and the citizens. This means all militaristic actions will have to be justified and explained to the Ministry of Diplomacy.

i.i. Applications that do not abide by this requirement will be rejected.
i.ii. Nations with embassies, consulate-generals and/or consulates who fail to abide by this requirement will have all diplomatic staff deported and the diplomatic building will be vacated following a fair trial by the Ministry of Justice.

ii. All Ambassadors (or equivalent ranking diplomats) are granted diplomatic immunity.

ii.i Invalid if linked to first-tier crimes as defined by Danathian law, which include murder, manslaughter and serious violence.
ii.ii. Diplomatic immunity is not granted to other diplomats, apart from the Deputy Ambassador (or equivalent ranking diplomat) when the Ambassador is not appointed or unavailable.

iii. The land plot in which the embassy is established upon is under the sovereign of the United Duchies, however, is owned by the home nation of the embassy.

iii.i. This means that the land will be maintained by the owner of the embassy, similar to private properties.

iv. Once diplomatic staff leave the grounds of the diplomatic building, they are expected to respect laws and property of the United Imperial Duchies and its citizens.

iv.i. This means that weapons are not permitted outside the grounds of the embassy building without being licensed for public ownership by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

v. All weapons must be inspected and certified for private ownership by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A maximum of one rifle per security staff member, two side arms per security staff member and three other weapons (swords, knives, pepper spray, tazors, etc) per security staff member are allowed. Armed vehicles is strictly illegal.

v.i. Uncertified private ownership of weapons within the United Imperial Duchies is a vindinctive crime, and all diplomatic staff will be deported and the embassy building will be vacated.

vi. There is a limit of fifteen diplomatic staff members, ten security staff members and eighty service staff members allowed.

vi.i. Medium embassies have a limit of ten diplomatic staff members, five security staff member and sixty service staff members.

The application of The Kingdom of Ahi Maunga has been accepted by the Embassy Oversight Committee. The embassy shall be located at 590 Monarchs Drive. We welcome Ambassador Sean to and his staff to our nation.

Official Letter from the Danathian Ministry of Diplomacy, Sub Department on Embassies

The Allied States of Polkopia's application has been put on hold, due to questions raised by the Embassy Oversight Committee. The Committee questions why the ambassador's brother must accompany him to Danatha. The application is not denied, but is simply awaiting a reply from the Polkopian government.

The The Democratic People's Republic of Noravea has been put on hold. We will cover half of the cost of the helicopter pad. The applicant has failed to select a location for their embassy. Also, due to costs and other practical reasons, we ask that some staff stay at a separate residence. An image of this residence will be enclosed with this letter. We mean no disrespect, but if we promise this to your nation, we must give that to all nations.

To the Government of Danatha:

The Democratic People's Republic of Noravea will pay for half of the helipad, as well as the cost for the residence. It is by no means disrespect to our Leader, Nicholas Caeus, and is happy to deal with this situation successfully. We request that the location be 235 Danatha Avenue.
