General Assembly Proposal
ID: revilo1357_1684322837
Give The General Assembly A Military
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.
Political Stability - Strong
Proposed by: Revilo1357

Without a military, these laws are meaningless. As a solution, the general assembly is enacting the standing military law:

1: All countries must send 1/5 of their able poulation between 18-25 to serve as soldiers
2: All countries must contibute (their population/100) Intercontinental ballistic missiles per year
3: If any country fails to comply, the General Assembly may use it's military to help ensure stability and either kill the renegade country or force it to comply. The general assembly reserves the right to condemn any and all members who do not comply to death
Honest mistake (GA can impose fines in non-compliant members), Contradiction (GA#38, GA#660)

Resolution On Disarmament And Peace
A resolution to slash worldwide military spending.
Global Disarmament - Strong
Proposed by: Resiloria

The General Assembly,

Recognizing the importance of maintaining global peace and security,
Affirming the principles of equality, justice, and respect for national sovereignty,
Noting the need for promoting disarmament measures and reducing military budgets to allocate resources towards essential social services,
Acknowledging the detrimental impact of weapons of mass destruction and covert warfare on human lives and the environment,
Emphasizing the significance of democratic decision-making and citizen participation in matters of war and military intervention,

Hereby proposes the following measures:

Closure of U.S. Military Facilities: Calls for the closing of all U.S. military facilities, both domestically and abroad, that train foreign military and paramilitary personnel. This action aims to foster self-reliance and prevent undue influence on the internal affairs of nations.

Cut-off of Military Aid: Supports an immediate cut-off of all military aid to any nation or entity involved in aggressive actions, human rights abuses, or violations of international law. The cessation of military assistance promotes peace and discourages aggression.

Abolition of Covert Warfare: Calls for the abolition of all institutions engaged in covert warfare, including intelligence agencies and secret military operations. Transparency and accountability are essential for maintaining trust among nations and preventing destabilization caused by clandestine activities.

Unconditional Disarmament: Stands for unconditional disarmament by all countries, encouraging the reduction of military forces, conventional weaponry, and defense expenditures. Redirecting resources towards peaceful and sustainable development fosters global stability and cooperation.

International Treaty on Weapons of Mass Destruction: Calls for the negotiation and implementation of an international treaty that outlaws all weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons and the use of depleted uranium in conventional arms. Such a treaty will promote disarmament, non-proliferation, and a safer world for all.

Reduction of Military Budgets: Urges all nations to undertake an immediate 50% reduction in their military budgets, with subsequent additional cuts, aiming to rapidly reduce military spending to less than 10% of its current level. The resulting "peace dividend" should be directed towards essential social services and environmental remediation of contaminated military sites.

Disbandment of Aggressive Military Alliances: Calls for the disbanding of aggressive military alliances and the closure of military bases that promote aggression or threaten the sovereignty of other nations. Encourages the formation of cooperative and non-threatening regional security arrangements.

Prohibition of Arms Sales: Calls for an end to arms sales throughout the world, emphasizing that the proliferation of weapons exacerbates conflicts, undermines peace efforts, and perpetuates violence. Encourages nations to prioritize diplomacy and peaceful resolution of disputes.

Binding Vote of the People: Urges countries to implement mechanisms requiring a binding vote of the people on all matters related to war or military intervention. This ensures democratic decision-making, promotes transparency, and ensures the consent of the governed.

Right to Soldier Unions: Supports the right of soldiers to form unions to represent their views and interests, allowing them to actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their lives, working conditions, and well-being.

Ban on Unmanned Aerial Devices (Drones): Calls for the end of manufacturing and use of Unmanned Aerial Devices (drones) for the purpose of domestic and international spying and warfare. Emphasizes the need to protect privacy, prevent civilian casualties, and uphold international law.

Repeal of Authorization for Use of Military Force: Urges the repeal of any existing legislation, such as the Authorization for Use of Military Force, that grants broad powers for military actions without sufficient oversight and accountability.

Encourages member states to take concrete steps to implement the proposed measures in a manner consistent with their national circumstances, promoting global peace, disarmament, and cooperation.

The North Pacific it needs more security against spam, against hackers and against those who break the rules of the region.
but it's not just the north pacific that needs it, it's the regions of pure trust that need more security.
I don't want more spam happening, because I love this region I'm in, so we have to start like this:

1 - Security Region
a - we need someone in the Administration of nations in the region, to verify if this nation is a spam nation.
b - Ban nations that use Cheat

2- improvements

A - regions need leaders they can truly trust

B - Need Help for Newbies

General Assembly Proposal

Image
Nudity Restriction Act
A resolution to restrict civil freedoms in the interest of moral decency.
Category: Moral Decency
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Queroquestan

The World Assembly,

Definitions :-

1. Nudity states to be naked, or in simple language, known to be as body uncovered, especially by human(s).
2. Civil Freedoms implies freedom for people, or in other words, no restriction on their daily action(s).
3. Pornography define sexually explicit videos, photographs, writings, or the like, whose purpose is to elicit sexual arousal.
4. Multimedia means videos, images, web links, etc.
5. Member State means the nations or states under the World Assembly.

Pre-Ambulatory Clauses :-

1. Noting that nudity is recognized as inappropriate in all the fields,
2. Witnessing that because of the high civil freedom, people are forcing each other to strip,
3. Alarming that the nudity-supporter people are encouraging the young and youthful citizen to be naked and view nudism,
4. Following Clause 3, this is sighted that the teacher(s) of the few home-schooling are forcing to view porn videos and images,

Therefore, enacts as follows :-

1. Strongly recommends member states to ban on nudism containing multimedia;
  1. In addition to multimedia, pornography, porn banners, advertisements, motion pictures, actions are also included.
  2. Despite Article 1a, porn advertisements don't mean to infants-related products and ads, bodybuilding-related ads.

2. Expects member states to prohibit porn-related products and places,
  1. This contains condoms, sex toys, sex shops, bars, adult movie theatres.

3. Urges member states to implement educational programs and awareness campaigns that promote understanding and respect for diverse cultural norms and the importance of appropriate attire in public spaces.

4. Recommends member states to establish appropriate penalties or sanctions for individuals who repeatedly violate public nudity restrictions, while ensuring proportionality and avoiding excessive punishment.
  1. Penalties are sanctioned on pornographic actors/actresses, porn advertisers, nudism supporters, and on the people, mentioned in Clause 2, 3 and 4.
  2. Following Article 1b, the advertisement makers of infant-related products, bodybuilding products, etc. are exonerated.

Illegal, in full, for a Strength violation. This proposal contains no binding clauses, which means it is only appropriate for Mild strength.

Article 2a is also illegal for contradicting GA#499 "Access to Abortion," which requires member states to protect the distribution of "contraceptives." It can be reasonably argued that a condom is a contraceptive.

Queroquestan has previously drafted multiple legal proposals. Drafting this illegal proposal too, before sending a tag:delegates telegram, would have helped.
Dear esteemed World Assembly Delegates and Members,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to invite you to support and consider co-sponsoring the proposed "Nudity Restriction Act" resolution, which aims to address the need for public nudity restrictions while respecting cultural diversity and upholding fundamental human rights.

The "Nudity Restriction Act" recognizes the importance of striking a balance between individual freedoms and societal standards, promoting modesty, preserving public decency, and respecting religious beliefs. By enacting or strengthening legislation to restrict public nudity, member states can ensure that appropriate attire is maintained in public spaces, while still respecting cultural sensitivities and religious practices.

This resolution calls upon member states to define clear guidelines on what constitutes public nudity, considering factors such as intent, location, context, and the potential impact on public order and morality. It encourages the implementation of educational programs and awareness campaigns to foster understanding and respect for diverse cultural norms. Additionally, the resolution recommends establishing proportionate penalties for repeat offenders and providing support to law enforcement agencies for effective enforcement.

By co-sponsoring the "Nudity Restriction Act", you have the opportunity to contribute to an important dialogue on balancing personal freedoms and societal norms. Your support will help ensure the protection of human dignity, privacy, and the promotion of respectful behavior in public spaces.

I kindly request you to review the attached proposal in detail. Should you find it aligns with your beliefs and objectives, I would be grateful for your support and co-sponsorship. Together, we can work towards a resolution that respects cultural diversity, upholds human rights, and promotes a harmonious society.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or require further information. Thank you for your attention and anticipated support.

Sincerely,

Queroquestan

The product of De-Extinction

A resolution to increase the quality of the world's environment, at the expense of industry.

Category: Environmental

Industry Affected: All Businesses - Strong

Proposed by: UnitedRomanEmpire

I hereby bring fourth to the council “De-Extinction” our goals and efforts are simple yet an effective measure to protect the already endangered species around the globe & bring back ones who have left us not too long ago. We can restabilize ecosystems long destroyed by humans & bring back species long wiped out by human intervention. The best thing we can do for this world is bring them back into existence where they belong.

This proposal is asking for the counsel to accept this proposal. As a way to fight the ongoing fast pace climate change; we can turn back time literally by bringing back giants like Mammoths to roam earth once again in the Serbia region. This proposal would allow new technologies that many nations can now acquire to advance their nation's environment & contribute to the global climate.

Although many fossils no longer provide DNA sequences. So animals lost to time will be lost forever. However, if that species has a direct relative or distant species; who's to say we can’t turn the clock back by reverse engineering DNA, of those species who lost those traits due to evolution or turn them back on; to look more like their ancestral past. This would allow us to have the proper technology, to advance human health all across the globe and bring back long lost organs thought to be considered “dead” or “unusable” by medical standards. These advances would allow us to bring back tissues of organs and grow them in a lab instead of depending on organ donors. With this in mind, the possibilities are endless for medicine.

Not only will humans benefit from this technology boom, so will many animals across the world. Those that are endangered will now have the ability to have their organ regrown, or their species repopulate back out of endangered territory. Our beloved animals at home such as our pets like Birds, Cats, Dogs, Guinea Pigs, Reptiles & many more will have a shot at living than what our current veterinarians can offer. We can use this technology for the fight against cancer, we can solve medical issues found in DNA sequences and either snip them out or simply turn them off. We can evolve not only the human race but also the animals here on earth.

But not only does such technology help both us and our beloved pets. We can invest in technology to bring back extinct trees & bees. Creating earth in a true oasis by providing all life with a second chance at survival but yet an enormous amount of food across the board.

With this proposal, if passed will allow us to truly unlock the next phase of human advancement no matter the field or decree. No matter the motivation, everyone & everything can truly benefit.

We are by no means GODS in our own right. But we do have the power to bring back what was lost because of us. And by restoring the once was, it would restore the balance in all forms of life. It would represent the greatest form of human compassion and love for all things in the universe. The earth has seen the evil of Humans, but let’s bring forth a new era, a new change, let’s usher in a new era of Good from the human race.

However, there are to be no restrictions to what we could do with this technology. After all, let’s let all of the possible possibilities unfold before our eyes. May you do what is right and stay true and good to your intentions and not allow the possibility of an extinction park come into existence because if it does, then it’s safe to say; humans themselves will no longer be at the top of the food chain. And that will mark the end of the Cenozoic Era, and will be the start of a new world. One of which the world has never seen where all animals from every period to compete for the sole survival of their species. May we never witness such a mess.

But since there are no restrictions to the possibilities of this bill. The only rule is very simple, if you are to bring forth an extinct species by whatever means necessary. If its habitat is no longer natural in the occurring world, it must be put inside a microclimate to imitate the past conditions that it once lived in. Your country must have enough funding to keep that facility up to date, & ensure all proper protocols are in place in case such a tragedy was to occur. The rule is simple, DO NOT LET IT ESCAPE.

By enacting this proposal into law, a new counsel will be formed, it will oversee environmental, climate, scientific, animal rights and abuse of power. This counsel's goal is simple, to oversee all countries protocol, humane animal practice, scientific advancement, medical advancement, the effects of the climate and the surrounding environment in which that animal is in. The counsel will also have a well funded military to prevent & order any country using animals as a form of weapons or to harbor the next Jurassic Park hybrids without proper protection and protocols in place.

By enacting this protocol, you are agreeing that this is and should be a permanent resolution. That cannot be overridden by any future resolution.

Branding ("I"); Blocker (clause regarding "permanent resolution" arguably bans repeal of the resolution); Real World Reference ("Jurassic Park").

Combating Terrorist Activity
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.
International Security - Significant
Proposed by: Prussia Republican Kingdom

The World Assembly, to those who may it concern.

It has been noted that globally, many nations face instability and war,
One of these reasons is due to Terrorist Activity.

This Proposal will assist in International Security.

It should be noted that the best way to counter Terrorism is to fund a proper task force utilized to combat Terrorist Activity and to help Secure Nations.
Letting Terrorism slip through the cracks would be costly, so the best thing to do is to utilize a Counter-Terrorism Task Force.

And thus this Proposal shall execute the following;

1. A Task Force is defined as Below.
1a. An Elite Paramilitary Force, not dissimilar to real-life ones like MI5/MI6 or Black Ops Strike Teams.
1b. A Task Force has a specific purpose, normally within the Range of Combat, and is under Special Operations Command to execute Missions.
1c. A Task Force receives special Government Funding to execute its missions and is often highly specially Trained, such as the British Royal Marines (Real Life Example).

2. As such, the WA is inclined to:
2a. Establish a Task Force within a WA Nation's respective borders to defend against Terrorism.
2b. Properly fund and Train said Task Force to ensure the Security of the respective WA Nation.
2c. Deployment of Said Task Force into combat zones to combat Terrorist Groups and as such ensure Stability and Security.

3. If the Task Force is involved in Counter-Terrorist Missions, WA States are expected to do the following:

The General Assembly,

We need an international plant a tree day for many reasons that are good for you and the Earth. To all members of the WA, we need to plant as many trees as possible by 2050, or Climate Change will affect all of us and destroy our industries. If you still don't agree, here are some good reasons.
These reasons are:

a. Trees take in C02 which is the main factor of climate change.
i. C02 meaning carbon dioxide. Produced when burning fossil fuels. Causes warming planet.
ii. Takes in C02 during a plant's life cycle.

b. Since they take in C02 and put out oxygen they boost air quality.

c. A tree-lined neighborhood may encourage you to go on a walk or run which is good for you.

d. Seeing the color can help relieve stress.

e. Exposure to forests and just nature in general inspires people.
i. Trees are in forests, even though they are getting cut down.

f. Trees also produce healthy foods, which you need to live.
i. Including apples, avocadoes, bananas, peaches, etc.

g. Trees provide shade for UV Rays.

Anyways the benefits definitely outweigh the bad. Trees are good for everyone and everything. They bring life into our world. The chosen day was April 2nd just as spring is coming in the Northern Hemisphere. Hoping that planting trees will encourage more people to move away from fossil fuels and will benefit the world. Helping is not mandatory but it would help if everyone did their part. The local government would give out trees to anyone who wants to help. 16 billion trees would need to be planted yearly because 15 billion trees are cut down. That will create a surplus in trees planted. With the help of the WA and all its members, we can save the world, one tree at a time.

Proposal basics, no operative clause, real-world reference ("Earth").

Nobody wants to be treated as if they are not a person right?

https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_vi ... 1712597058
No operative clause

WA,
this proposal relates to the legality of medical, and in specific areas, recreational drug use (for the most part). Thanks for reading, taking this proposal seriously, and having it under consideration and voted on by most members.

1. Definitions:

A. Legal (adj.) - permitted, allowed, able to deal with, with no consequences law-wise

B. Cannabis (n.) - a drug that can be used for medical or recreational purposes

C. Medical (adj.) - in relationship with treating disease, health problems, or sustained injuries.

D. Recreational (adj.) - a reference to drug used for enjoyment and pleasure

E. Health (n.) - the physical or mental condition of someone/thing

F. Rights (n.) - an entitlement to own or sell something

G. Restriction (n.) - a condition on legal terminology that limits something

2. Reasonings

I. Medical Drug Use

A. Patients will likely be calmer due to consuming certain drugs.
B. Patients with common allergies; peanuts, and pollen, will likely be unaffected.
C. Patients might enjoy the process but will possibly be required to go to rehab if they have or had an addiction to drugs.

II. Recreational Use

A. People will have no risk of being jailed, resulting in more transactions, and a better economy (there is an exception in 3. ii.).
B. People may enjoy it in permitted areas.
C. People may have free rehab and/or prevention(s) of/for addictions.

3. Terms
A. Building owners, residents, or local authorities may buy/rent a restriction order for drugs being used around/in their place of activity.
B. Recreational users who break the restrictions law may be fined or jailed.
C. Other drugs that have major negative effects used on common grounds will be rendered illegal and users will be fined as a warning, and will serve major jail time if they commit a second offense.
D. Educational areas like schools and libraries will have a mandatory restriction, and if broken, users will get suspended, parents fined, and authorities fined as well.

4. Elaboration of Terms

I. Restrictions
A. With restrictions, usage within 1/2 mile will not be allowed.
B. Orginally illegal drugs will be fined or jailed extra.
C. There can be a restriction for specific drugs

II. Fines and Jail time
A. The leader of their said nation may decide both of these, but there are mandatory minimums and maximums
B. Minimums are 5,000 for legal (but restricted) and 7,500 for illegal, both of them paid in said national currency.
C. Maximums are 10,000 for legal (but restricted) and 20,000 for illegal, both of them paid in said national currency.
D. Jail time is a minimum of 3 years for legal (but restricted) and 5 years for illegal.
E. Depending on what occurs after the criminal usage of drugs, the maximum jail time can fluctuate in a certain nation.

5. Conclusion
I. There are actual uses for drugs
II. Most drugs that don´t have a major negative impact on people should be legal.
III. This can be a serious burden on general health, and the economy if repealed.
IV. This only will apply to the nations that want it to be applied.

https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_vi ... 1712597470
Contradiction of GA 657; there are several restrictions on where drugs can be used/restricted with the associated punishments, which include fines which would be incompatible with clause 2 of GA 657 (notably 3C illegalizes drugs with "major negative effects"). Also, 5(IV) runs afoul of optionality.

The World Assembly,

REAFFIRMING the importance of traditional values in the national fabric,

WANTING to protect children from the dangers of the queer world, which often engage in disturbing and adult conduct in public settings,

BELIEVING that the promotion of heteronormativity and patriarchal gender roles is essential for preserving the identity and culture of our states,

And to this end resolves;

To reaffirm the illegality and immorality of same-sex relationships, as well as anything else deemed "deviant" by member states;

To prohibit the recognition and affirmation of LGBT people, events, and symbols, and ban any promotion of their lifestyle choices;

https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_vi ... 1712728146
Contradiction (GA 457)

Concerning the problem with the legality of medical, and specific areas, recreational drug use, the logical resolution is to make most usage of drugs, legal.

1. Definitions:

A. Legal (adj.) - conforming to or permitted by law or established rules

B. Cannabis (n.) - a tall plant with a stiff upright stem, divided serrated leaves, and glandular hairs. It is used to produce hemp fiber and as a drug.

C. Medical (adj.) - relating to the science of medicine or the treatment of illness and injuries.

D. Recreational (adj.) - relating to or denoting drugs taken occasionally for enjoyment.

E. Health (n.) 1. a person's mental or physical condition. 2. the state of being free from illness or injury.

F. Rights (n.) - a moral or legal entitlement to have or obtain something or to act in a certain way.

G. Restriction (n.) - a limiting condition or measure, especially a legal one.

2. Reasonings

5. Conclusion
I. There are multiple sensical reasons for drug usage
II. Most drugs that do not have a major negative impact on people should be legal.
III. If repealed, this can be a serious burden on general health, and the economy.

A resubmitted version of the above; still contradiction of GA 657, optionality has been removed thankfully

To propose the repeal of World Assembly Resolution "Client Money Segregation For Brokers," one must argue that the resolution has unintended consequences or is ineffective in achieving its intended goals. Here's a case for its repeal:

1. **Unintended Consequences:** The resolution may have inadvertently burdened smaller brokerage firms with excessive compliance costs, making it harder for them to operate. This could lead to market consolidation, reducing competition and potentially harming consumers.

2. **Overregulation:** The resolution might be seen as excessive regulation that stifles innovation and market flexibility. By mandating specific practices for handling client funds, it could hinder the development of alternative, potentially more efficient methods of ensuring the security of client assets.

3. **Global Variation:** Different regions and jurisdictions have varying regulatory frameworks regarding the segregation of client funds. This resolution imposes a one-size-fits-all approach that may not be suitable or effective in all contexts. Repealing the resolution would allow member states to tailor their regulations to their specific needs and circumstances.

4. **Effectiveness:** There may be doubts about the effectiveness of the resolution in achieving its stated objectives. Evidence or data suggesting that the resolution has not significantly improved the protection of client funds or the integrity of financial markets could justify its repeal.

5. **Compliance Challenges:** Compliance with the resolution's requirements may pose significant challenges for member states and brokerage firms, particularly those in developing countries or with limited resources. Repealing the resolution could alleviate these compliance burdens and promote greater participation in global financial markets.

Overall, the case for repealing the resolution rests on the belief that it either imposes unnecessary burdens on the financial industry or fails to effectively achieve its intended goals.

No operative clause: the proposal does not actually have a line that would repeal the target. Also, obviously AI but that's not illegal.

Acknowledging the need for equitable access to and utilization of the world's territorial waters for the collective benefit of humanity,

Recognizing the importance of sustainable management and conservation of marine resources for present and future generations,

Affirming the principles of fairness, transparency, and cooperation in the utilization of maritime resources,

Emphasizing the role of the General Assembly in fostering international cooperation and promoting the common good,

1) Establishes the General Assembly International Access (GAIA) Holdings as a holding company operated by the World Assembly, herein referred to as GAIA Holdings, with the mandate to oversee the management and equitable distribution of joint territorial waters owned collectively by member nations of the World Assembly.

2) Defines 'Joint Territorial Waters' as the combined territorial waters of member nations, and the international waters between them, which shall henceforth be managed and administered by GAIA Holdings.

3) Decides that all resources within the Joint Territorial Waters, including but not limited to fish stocks, minerals, and hydrocarbons, shall be owned collectively by the General Assembly through GAIA Holdings.

4) Determines that each member nation of the World Assembly shall be allocated a number of shares in GAIA Holdings proportional to its population size and other relevant financial conditions, as determined by a reviewable financial formula to ensure fairness and equity. Share Allocation = (Population Size×GDP per capita×Maritime GDP Contribution) / (Total Global Maritime GDP×Economic Development Index)

5) Mandates that companies based in member nations of the World Assembly may apply for licenses and leases to operate within the joint territorial waters managed by GAIA Holdings.

6) Requires that the cost of licenses and leases shall be determined based on the profit margins of the applying companies, with a higher cost imposed on more profitable companies, in order to ensure fair compensation for the utilization of shared resources.

7) Directs that all revenue generated from the issuance of licenses and leases shall be collected by GAIA Holdings and distributed amongst its shareholders, with each member nation receiving a portion of the revenue commensurate with its shareholding in GAIA Holdings.

8) Calls upon member nations to cooperate fully with GAIA Holdings in the implementation of this resolution and to take all necessary measures to ensure the sustainable management and conservation of joint territorial waters for the benefit of present and future generations.

9) Urges member nations to collaborate in research and monitoring efforts aimed at improving our understanding of marine ecosystems and enhancing the effectiveness of resource management strategies.

9) Invites non-member states and relevant international organizations to support and participate in the implementation of this resolution for the common good of humanity.

https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_vi ... 1712750140
Contradiction (GA 168); notably, clause 3 of this proposal is incompatible with clause 2(B) of GA 168.

Thanks for this! I've reversed my ruling on the fourth proposal accordingly; as to the third, the game-added repeal line ("... shall be struck out and rendered null and void") seems enough to actually repeal the target. That said, the rule applied would not be Operative Clause; that prohibits proposals with no mandates on member nations, and applies only to non-repeals.

Understood. I'd personally advocate for this to be clarified within the GA Ruleset, as the "Operative Clause" rule is under a section which says "Other universal standards for all General Assembly proposals." To me, this would seem to imply it applies to repeals as well (although if the game-added repeal line meets the burden then it may be irrelevant, but I'd still like for a clarification that it does so to be added because I couldn't find one anywhere).

Fair enough; I would have no objection to changing "Every proposal" to "Every non-repeal proposal". That said, we just changed the rule so I'm not sure if there would be appetite within Gensec for a rewrite immediately after that.

Not that this thread is necessarily the place for this discussion, but I even think adding a notation to the end of the Operative Clause rule that says "The repeal line automatically added at the top of all repeals is sufficient to satisfy this rule." would be appropriate, so we don't incidentally change the meaning of the other rules under the "Format" section (don't want to accidentally make branding allowed in repeals!)

Acknowledging that many nations in NationStates have slavery legal I believe we need to set some restrictions on this matter

The World Assembly thus:

Defines a 'slave' as a person being forced to work for the wellbeing and or for someone else whom can directly force the ‘slave’ to do something of the persons choice
These requirements to ensure everyone’s well being

1. The slave is required to be allowed at least three meals per day
As they will be working and must not be under feed

2. The slave must be allowed two hours of break and or rest per day
As to not over work them with this they will have more energy to work. Meaning it’s best for both parties

3. They must be over the age of 14
This will ensure that people to young will not be forced to work this will also allow them to prepare to join the workforce at the age of 14

4. sexual acts that the slave does not consent to may not be executed
As to protect the privacy and safety of the slave

Metagaming ("NationStates"), Branding ("I believe we..."), Duplication (GA 23 is an outright ban on slavery, so any restrictions on slavery are thus redundant and would do nothing in effect)

EDIT: It was withdrawn and resubmitted, minus the branding issue:

Anyone who commits suicide will perish, along with their family and friends. They should not take their lives, and their family and friends will likely commit suicide too. It should be illegal, as it is morally wrong, and will unnecessarily decrease the population.

https://www.nationstates.net/page=UN_vi ... 1712942449
Operative clause (The proposal doesn't actually do anything, unless the proclamation that "[a]nyone who commits suicide will perish" is seen as commanding member-states to kill those who commit suicide, which is wholly nonsensical), Contradiction (GA 598) if it was supposed to be seen as banning suicide.
