The old Kawaiian nun just smiled and draped the cloth over Neville's shoulders, saying, "Just wrap it around yourself. A man of your station here should have a care for modesty; you don't want to set a bad example for the patrons, do you?"

Neville: OK, this'll take a minute. (goes outside, then comes inside wearing a yukata while holding his wet clothes) Actually, I think this suits me. Do you have any slippers I can borrow? I don't want to catch athlete's foot. Where is Rowan, by the way? The Freedom of Religion draft hasn't been submitted.

Neville: He must be sleeping off a bad trip. (sighs) I've read the debate transcripts as well. Would I be right in saying that he has supported viewpoints which run contrary to our nation's official position?

"I don't think you had any modesty to begin with, Ben," Janis said in an amused tone of voice. "But yes, nudity, or at least partial nudity, isn't anything new or terribly horrifying in the Bar. Not that nudity is a big deal on its own anyway," she added. "At least not in Araraukar."

As far as transsexuals

OOC: I'm fairly sure I'm not the only one here, but I may be the only openly-out transgender in the GA regular crowd, so I'd like to point out that "transsexual" and "transgender" are not the same thing. The clue is in the word itself, transsexual, like in heterosexual.

Regardless, would they not be lacking the ability to produce offspring, i.e. workers, assuming they have physically aligned themselves with how they "emotionally and psychologically" feel (https://www.google.com/#q=define+transsexual)? Assuming we'd permit such a thing. But the point remains that they cannot reproduce naturally, no? I suppose that is not a natural characteristic of a transsexual if they have not had any hormone treatment or surgery, but if they have, I believe I am correct that they would not be able to naturally produce workers with a partner. Or am I missing something?

Just to clarify, these are my nation's beliefs, or at least the purported beliefs of its Emperor and thus the way the laws and views are within that nation and don't reflect the player behind the nation necessarily.

Neville: How were you even eligible?

Fairburn: There are admittedly three conditions to my re-appointment: I can't threaten other Ambassadors, I can't insult them without due cause and I have to make positive comments once in a while. Apart from that, I've basically got a carte blanche.

Neville: What did you do while you were away for those two weeks?

Fairburn: Wait, it was only two weeks? That anger management course was over suspiciously quickly...I think that I may have been scammed. Anyway, I climbed mountains, camped in rainforests and hung out at the local baths. I haven't felt this alive since my military days. What have you been up to?

Neville: (points to his yukata)

Fairburn: Ah, yes, the Excidians defenestrated you, didn't they? It was a shame that I wasn't here to witness it myself, or perhaps carry it out myself. Anyway, where is that hippy? I want to catapult him out of here.

"Indeed I am," replies Lapsis. "It'll take a while, but I may as well do it now, while most of the delegation is still in the same place. Now, I've already taken Mr. Ottman's testimony, and I'm quite certain we can spare him the pain of further questioning. How about this young lady here?"

The officer gestures to one of the aides and makes his way to her. "Hello, ma'am, I'm Officer Kenneth Lapsis of the United Wallenburgian Security Service. May I sit down?"

"Why yes, of course," she says, waving her hand to a pair of empty seats. "I imagine this is about Erwin? You said that he was murdered, right? I can't understand why someone, anyone would do such a thing. He was a kind guy."

"Yes, I understand that. I'm very sorry for you and the rest of the delegation. Ma'am, would you tell me your name and your role in the delegation?"

She nods. "Certainly. My name is Stacy Keele, and I am a general secretary for the delegation. I serve as a member of the Wallenburgian Office of Compliance and Investigation, and as the chief archivist for the offices." She looks at Columbo. "And who might this strange man be?"

That's the irony. Bitely is part of the top .1% of nations that has passed at least 1 resolution. Bitely is part of the WA Elite.

"The C.D.S.P. left behind a number of moralistic social mores, so we tend to be a bit more liberated in regards to sex and the human body. That isn't to say that we have no modesty, but we as Separatists, and I as a man, try not to fall into the trap of being ashamed of my sexuality or my body. Its hard to imagine those who do."

The grin slides right off Este's face and she goes quiet for a moment.
"It's everywhere, isn't it? That nonsense. The Empire -- former empire -- punished homs with death. To the point a lot of constables would just shoot you to save themselves the time of arresting you. Being bi, I could get by alright, but that wasn't an option for some. Lost a lot of friends. Almost lost more."
She inhales sharply and seems to snap herself out of her reverie.
"But together we persevered, we overcame, and when we established our own democratic nation atop the ashes of the old, we made damn sure to throw that hateful nonsense out and constitutionally protect the rights of not just our workers and our homs, but also the Nomadic Tribes, and the other two sapient races that live within our borders. At long last, we can proudly stand before our Ancestors a liberated people!"
Este hoists her martini glass and downs a hearty drink from it, brushes her blue hair back from her protruding grey eyes, and grins sheepishly.
"I, uh, seem to have gotten a bit carried away there. Apologies."
