In reference to the idea that we should vote against because of a hypothetical replacement, our organization maintains that we will not give undue weight to the idea of a better proposal due to the fact that we must weigh the problems in the bill versus possibly not having the bill all together. We cannot trust that there will always be a replacement, whether it is in drafting phase or not. Many drafted bills get abandoned before they are finished and if we were to repeal resolutions based off small definition issues then we'll have to repeal every single resolution in history.
