I am shocked by the replies i have had to this with only 1 person in support of this idea. That's cruel, and inhumane. You want to enhance the life of the rich, by killing off the chaff? This is a pitiful excuse for a proposal; if you want to execute your poor for jaywalking, that's your prerogative - don't force everyone else to. And that's also a fallacy to assume that the rich are hardworking, and that the poor are lazy. In many cases, it's usually vice versa.

Is this a real proposal, a joke, or a blog post rant?

Moving on, this is illegal, unethical and unjust, not to mention amoral. While it may be true that some poor people do indeed commit crimes, the rich can be and in some cases are guilty of acts of a criminal nature as well.

Also, this does not follow the formal of a proposal. And even if it did, we would still oppose it. So we propose that this-- whatever this is, for it surely does not look like a proposal, be consigned to the flames it deserves. Thank you, honorable members of this august Assembly.

If you ACTUALLY believe in a system like this, then keep it to yourself, because that sort of prejudice and inequality is not welcomed in a society like ours, where we try to create social equality instead of eradicate the lower-working classes. I am deeply offended by this ideology, just because of how insulting it to my friends, some of my family and the working classes in general. A popular ideology in today's society is equality, an opinion which you obviously haven't heard of.
