He didn't know how long he had been walking for.
His back hurt, and for good reason.
Emily herself had been there to watch him receive his punishment.
I thought I would get off with just exile, but Nooooooo, I had to be publicly beaten as well...Why do they have those still?
Will stumbled and then fell to the dirt path, weariness coming upon him suddenly.
He didn't feel....right.

For some reason, everything was getting dark...the sun wasn't even setting yet...so...why.......

Art? We have landscapes, Beach sunsets, Pornography, and sculptures of naked women.
Food? Uh... well... Fish and the occasional seal... Bermuda is not good for farming or food production.

The ceramic thingies represent different monetary values. You bet based on how good you think your hand is, then whoever has the best hand wins. The value depends on what combinations of suits (The little symbols) and numbers (How many of said symbols). You'd have to ask ambassador Bell for a more thorough explanation.

Also, he is most certainly delusional. Venezia, that is, not Ambassador Bell.
