I think that's how we'll do it, for the masters and grand slams anyways... if a nation wants to hold their own small tournament, they can post here and run it. However, other nations must place bids that will be voted on by the ITA commitee. (The reason why I think it should be the ITA commitee is because the committee has the most experienced players who won't just vote for somebody because they are there friend or something).

I'm new to using a scorinator, so any chance you feel like explaining how this one works?

And to the above, I don't think anyone has any rank at all at the moment. No games have been played.

This... and if you'd like an explanation as to how players are actually ranked, read the OP. I didn't spend a few hours writing it for nothing.

I understand how they are ranked; I just worded my question wrong I guess.
If you look at the scorinator's versions 1.2 and 1.5, you insert a sort of "ranking/rp bonus" into the red box on the top of the excel sheet. The higher the number, the better your odds are at winning the match. This is where my question arose.
Say you are the #2 singles player in the world, facing the #48 player in the world. What numbers are going to be put into the red boxes on the top of the excel sheet? If I can understand how the ITA suggests I handle this, then I know I'll be able host a tournament.
