Ski Jumping Competition - Interest thread

Hi! I was wondering if there are some Ski Jumping fans. I think we could organize the Ski Jumping Competition together in November. It would consist of 1 normal hill competition, 1 large hill competition and 1 team event.

I think we could start with 6 max athletes for each country and an average skill of 50. We could scorinate the events by xKoranate, although I would recommend to use Deluxe Ski Jump 4 which I want to purchase regardless of this thread (I could scorinate all of them). There are many different hills which we could adapt to our countries and what's even better, I could stream those competitions on the web

I would be interested in a ski jumping competition, but I would have some reservations about this one.

1. Five months is way too long for a niche minority sport. Just run one competition and see if it's popular and successful before planning anything so grandiose.

2. I'd be interested if it were scorinated with xkoranate or a similar scorinator program. If it's "scorinated" using a computer game like Deluxe Ski Jump, I'm out.

3. I'd be interested if the hills were fictional mountains in our NS nations. Not if you're using real world hills.

This isn't even the right subforum if we're using RL hills since this is an IC only forum. Of course, if they were hills in our NS nation based on RL hills, it at least belongs here, but I still share the above concerns.

Sure I meant, if we used the game to scorinate, we would have no choice than to adapt the RL hills to our countries and names. It can be scorinated in xkoranate, but in my opinion it wouldn't be so interesting. Anyways, using Deluxe Ski Jump is just an option.

I'd suggest reading this guide.

You would be allowed to score it in Deluxe Ski Jump, the issue is that many people will be put off because of this. There isn't technically anything wrong with it, it just goes against the conventions around here.

I would recommend using Xkoranate though. Also, I would suggest making it a one off event to start with, to gauge interest, as there is no point running something which no one is interested in.

Because this forum is a in character forum, no 'real-life' places are technically allowed in as separate ideas, as the events happen in our nations.

Yeah, I think you can be right.
So - one or two events with scorinator. And possibly more if succeeded.
