Another random time, another NS sports tournament, and another set of nations fighting to the death for the fourth Gaelic Football World Cup. It's time to put up fifteen people to smash their old rivals' teeth out, and why not play some sport while we're at it.

Now, in case you completely somehow missed the above introduction, welcome to the Gaelic Football World Championship I. Upon reading this, you may be asking yourself, how in the name of Oisinistan do I join this "fantastic" event? Simple. Just say, "I sign up" in this thread (this counts as my entry).

Now, we need a place for the GFWC to be held don't we, but where do we find one? Before you rush in to join our tournament, please consider registering a host bid. Here is the info you will need to include in order for your host bid to be recognized:

1) Tournament Format
2) RP Grading and Bonus
3) Scorination Method
4) Past Experience is highly appreciated, but not necessary.

We also have a strict puppet policy. Two nations per player. No more, no less. You must also declare that puppet, or both it and your main nation will be banned from the third Gaelic Football World Championship. We wouldn't wnat that to happen, now would we? *faint sound of knuckles cracking*

Host bid deadline is set for 31th of August, 2016.

We're looking at about a maximum of 36 participants before we close signups.

World Gaelic Football World Championships IV Host Bid:

IC Information
Kep is a democratic, thriving island nation in the North Medser Sea of The Western Isles. Interestingly, the northern part of Kep is mostly tundra, pioneered by the native Eskimo population, however, the farther south you go, the warmer the temperature becomes, at best reaching a sizzling 59 degrees. The leader of the nation is called the Pala Mors, meaning Prime Minister in Icracako, the current Pala Mors is Arinjor Bjarki who resides in the nation's capital of Sario. Seen as a somewhat primitive country, it is unknown to the multiverse that much of Kep sports many stadiums and buildings are modernized and up-to-date. Gaelic football is an obscure sport with a small following in the nation, however, it seems Gaelic football has chance, 5.6 million people viewed the Gaelic Football World Championship III held in Silvacometopia. Traveling to Kep will allow you to experience the native peoples performing their rituals alongside seeing the big cities of Sario, Allkor City and the rustic city of Calix. The most prominent faith in Kep is paganism (Norse Mythology), it is illegal to attempt to convert someone. Doing so will subject you to death by trident. Kep is very strict about someone traveling to it, you are required to have a valid passport from the nation of origin, a valid temporary passport Kep and a valid visa from Kep along with paying $350.00. Among strange things, public nudity is illegal, why not? Odin does it! However, public sexuality is illegal as per public code

Group Draw
Group Draw will take place over a Chatzy that I will link to at a later date if this bid wins hosting rights. For numbers, we have 32 teams currently. Frenline Delpha will host the first half groups while I shall be in charge of the latter half.
- 24 teams: 4 groups of 6; single round robin; top three teams advance in each group
- 28 teams: 4 groups of 7; single round robin; top four teams from advance in each group
- 32 teams: 8 groups of 4; single round robin; top two teams advance in each group
- 36 teams: 9 groups of 4; single round robin; top two teams advance from each group along with top 6 third place teams
- 40 teams: 8 groups of 5; single round robin; top two teams advance in each group along with top 4 third place teams

Scorinating Method and RP Grading
Scorination will be using Xkoranate's Gaelic Football scorinater under "NSFS-3 style" (multiplicative).
RP grading will be fair and just. I will of course the normal roster bonus and rp points will accumulate over time. RP points will not equal a win however. My rp grading will be the following:
3 points/roster - Roster Bonus
1.5 points/per rp - RP Bonus (related RP)
0.5 points/per rp - RP Bonus (non-related RP)

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acidica, Amazonesta, Savalen, Banija, Cosumar, Anglatia and Chernordad all still exist, but are yet to sign up. (I'll probably drop them a telegram in a bit.)
Ko-Oren and Beaverriver have opted out of this edition.
