Just saying but teams shouldn't play with 8 defence men, since that's not what anyone does in real life.

It's one of the differences to improve the function of the game itself. If we only have 3 pairs of defencemen, then we have to try to model what lines they'd play against and when on the scorinator, and it'd be confusing to interpret even for those familiar with the sport. Much easier to simply require 4 pairs.

FYI, I'm going to close signups in around 100 hours (little over 4 days). If we have an odd number of teams I'll try and find one more manager.
