Baptism of Fire Host Announcement:

With Palfania's signup, we're at 36 participants for the 58th Baptism of Fire which is our target number for the tournament. As such, any further signups for the BoF will be placed on a waitlist and will be allowed to take part in the BoF if another nation CTEs or is proven ineligible for the tournament prior to the group draw.

The thread for the Baptism of Fire will be posted sometime this week, with matches starting late next week.

World Cup 71: Host Announcement

Going to saddle onto what Equestrian States just posted, we currently stand at 158 sign-ups with the most recent one being Palfania. Felix and I have decided to allow for four more sign-ups, to a grand total of 162. This would mean twenty (20) groups of eight (8) nations, home-and-home. The twenty group winners would qualify for the World Cup, while the twenty runners-up would participate in a home-and-home playoff, based off of performance in the group. The following nations have signed up for the 71^st World Cup. As such, any further sign-ups past 162 will be placed on a wait-list and will be allowed to take part in the World Cup if another nation CTEs by the group draw.

The RP and Roster thread for the World Cup will be posted during the latter part of the Baptism of Fire (QFs/SFs).

Baptism of Fire Host Announcement:

After further investigation, I've found that Ekoz is ineligible for BoF 58 as they took part in BoF 56 and are ranked in the most recent (Post-WC70) KPB rankings. Likewise, Nikolaos (Nikolaos The Great) is ineligible for to compete in this edition of the BoF, having participated in BoF 39. Both nations are, however, still allowed entry to the 71st World Cup.

Thus, Eupheos Anetus will be able to take part in the upcoming BoF, as its master nation has participated in a previous World Cup.

World Cup 71 Host Announcement:

As of right now, we have reached 162 sign-ups for the World Cup. As a result, all future nations that sign up will be placed on a wait-list. Any nation that CTEs between now and the qualifying draw shall be replaced by someone on the wait-list. Here are the nations who have signed up for the World Cup.

The RP and Roster threads will be up, as previously mentioned, during the BoF's latter stages.

World Cup 71: Host Announcement

Hey everybody! In the spoiler below we have an updated sign ups list with the three latest signees, Peace Republic, Polkopia, and Albaie entering the WC by replacing Jecatria, Maracaiboball, and Nw Drknka. The first two CTE'd and the third withdrew from the competition. Sign ups will remain open for those who want to take a chance in another nation CTE'ing. The World Cup Roster/RP threads will be posted after the BoF Quarterfinals.
